"Heh, just as I expected." Lei Zhen sneered coldly when Candice basically confirmed his suspicion to be correct.
If Peter Heisen's ship was legitimate to be on the sea, then why would they try to cover their weapons in boxes?
Of course, one could say they were transporting weapons back to their country, but then again, the location of the shipwreck doesn't add up to this story.
Not to mention, the attitude of Peter Heisen was different from how a normal person would react toward their savior.
From the get-go, Peter Heisen was on guard the entire time and was ready to make a move. Though he didn't dare to make a move in the end since Howard's ability was far superior to his.
"Okay, you can sleep now while I'll eat the food that is still warm." Lei Zhen said and left her alone in the room.
He then proceeded to grab the food back to his personal room and began to think over the situation.
His adventures compared to other players' adventures are truly like heaven and earth. Other players get to explore everywhere and not be shackled by problems constantly.
While other players are killing mobs and leveling up, he was stuck here without being able to level up often.
Opening his character status and glancing at the data, Lei Zhen smiled bitterly at his pathetic level.

'Sigh, almost more than 2 months already, but my level is still 20. The experience points needed to level up are also insane and I can't even find a proper monster to kill.' He lamented inwardly.
A Kraken's Clone posed a lot of troubles for him already, but if Lei Zhen were to imagine that the role was swapped to Tang Qiaolian, Griselda, or even Tie Longkun, then they would have long solo kill the Kraken's Clone.
Whenever he mentally imagined this scene, he became even more disappointed in himself.
Silently drinking the chicken soup, Lei Zhen's fatigue soon revealed. Not to mention Candice's exhaustion, even he had overexerted himself today with so many incidents coming at once.
"I should sleep now…' Lei Zhen thought to himself, hopping in the bed and going to sleep. He might be one of the few rarities that actually preferred to sleep in the game than go grinding like some hardcore players would do.
He would never understand how a person could go fighting for 48 hours straight and still feel energized.
Once he lay in the bed, it was like he was hit by a status ailment, instantly falling asleep. It was a good thing that he didn't have any snoring habits.
Time slowly passed by, and with no one daring to disturb Lei Zhen in his sleep, he had a great sleep that he had never gotten for quite a while.
pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ Yawning with his mouth wide open, Lei Zhen stretched his arms and body, feeling completely revitalized.
"How long was I asleep for?" Lei Zhen muttered, feeling extremely great about himself.
Tidying himself, Lei Zhen left his personal room and prepared to head outside the ship deck.
However, the moment he got out, there was an extreme chill running through his body, causing him to involuntarily sneeze aloud.
His body began to shiver as he glanced around the surroundings.
"Why did the weather become even colder than nighttime?" He asked in a disbelief tone.
"Master, you're finally awake. The autopilot system seemed to have made us deter the original path to Athea Country and is now heading toward the Northern Region known for its cold weather." Candice quickly informed him when she saw him coming out.
"..."
Speechless, Lei Zhen was utterly speechless when it seemed like this happened because of his mistake. But then again, he was human so it's natural that he would make mistakes, just not a big mistake like this.
"So what's happening right now?" Lei Zhen enquired.
"One of the crewmen is now manually steering the ship and we are almost back on track. Though we might still have to endure the cold for an hour or so." Candice explained and told him everything that had happened while he was asleep.
And to his surprise, something truly unexpected had occurred.
Apparently, Peter Heisen and the other three men that had awoken from their frostbite had tried to conduct an escape plan. It was a shame that their ploy was caught by Howard and was now detained in a prison cell near the basement level.
"Such idiots… Why would they even try to escape when Howard is overwatching them?" Lei Zhen sighed softly, feeling the event to be quite hilarious.
This was like a child trying to sneak some candies to eat away from its mother but didn't think about the fact that the mother would easily catch on to the act.
"Sir Howard said those people are quite dangerous since they are doing Arms Dealing. Hence he decided to detain them all and cripple one of the men to set an example to warn them not to try to do anything else."
"That's fine by me. If Howard didn't react fast enough, then the consequences would have been disastrous." Lei Zhen nodded his head, feeling that Howard had made the logical judgment.
Since Peter Heisen wasn't some good folk either and tried to plot an escape, then he wouldn't be polite either.
Once they get to Athea Country, Lei Zhen would hand them over to the authorities there and possibly get some rewards in return.
"Anyway, it's getting way too cold here to chat, so let's head to the Control Room instead." Lei Zhen suggested, his body still shivering quite a bit.
Seeing this, Candice suddenly chanted some ancient language and a burst of warmth gushed through Lei Zhen.
