Chapter 1200 Glimpsing Ahead

Chapter 1200 Glimpsing Ahead

"Precognition?" Unsurprisingly, Valyr began to look at Jekyll with disbelief in response to those words. "Is that even possible with the skill?"

As far as what he and Jekyll had discussed and confirmed, [Warrior's Eyes of Slaughter], as well as the previous versions the man had given him, gave him the ability to pinpoint weak spots on anything he laid his eyes upon.

Aside from that, the skill also allowed him to give off an aura that would greatly intimidate those that were weaker than him, while also catching the attention of those that were stronger than him.

Although he did not know how the second part of the skill actually worked, Valyr had a feeling that it had something to do with how the eyes made it seem like he was a predator gazing at its prey.

Nevertheless, both of these abilities combined were more than enough for the young man to consider the skill as incredibly useful and powerful, even though all it did for the most part was augment his ocular senses.

The fact that it gave him the ability to pinpoint spots that went beyond the level of weak spots alone made him consider it as a top-tier skill, much less the fact that he now had the ability to create these weak spots on his opponents' bodies on a whim.

With that in mind, the young man found it both surprising and confusing that Jekyll told him that he was able to take a brief glimpse into the future with the help of the skill.

After all, how would a skill that only allowed him to view weak spots do just that?

"It is." Fortunately for him, Jekyll planned on showing him the ability of precognition through the skill, causing a hint of excitement to appear on Valyr's face when he mulled over the thought for a bit more.

Though, just as he began to get excited at the fact that he might able to wield the same power Jekyll showed him at some point in the future, a thought soon crossed the young man's mind, causing him to look at the man with a hint of fear.

"Hmm?" Of course, Jekyll took notice of this change in expression, slightly confused at first as to why Valyr began to look at him in slight terror all of a sudden. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Ah." Luckily for him, it only took him a few seconds to put two and two together in his mind, prompting him to let out a slight chuckle in amusement as he gave Valyr a slight smile. "Don't worry."

'Don't worry?' Hearing those words leave Jekyll's mouth, the young man inwardly rolled his eyes in response. 'You're really telling me not to worry?'

However, just as the punch was about to land on the man's torso, Valyr felt as if the entire world was conspiring against the attack all of a sudden, briefly making it seem like he'd sent out a punch into quick sand.

Step. Step. Step.

Making use of the opportunity he'd given himself, Jekyll took a few steps to the side before the feeling Valyr got from his punch disappeared, a confident smile hanging on his face as he looked back at the young man.

"Wanna try again?"

Hearing the words that left the man's mouth, Valyr felt a bit more anger bubble up within his body, only to then let out a faint sigh as he gave himself a bit of time to calm down.

Briefly pondering over the exchange the two of them had just now, the gears in the young man's mind turned as fast as they could go as he wondered how Jekyll was able to make his attack stop in place all of a sudden.

'...Could that even be considered precognition?' As this question echoed within his mind, Valyr decided to test out how exactly the ability of precognition would work under the skill, thinking that the best way to go about it would be to send a barrage of punches at Jekyll.

And thus, as he slowly took in a deep breath to compose himself, the young man soon sent a massive wave of punches heading Jekyll's way, thinking that the man's ability wouldn't work against a large number of attacks at once.

However...

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

As if the attacks were being canceled before they could even land on the man, Valyr felt as if most of his punches were hitting some sort of cotton pillow, reminding him of the sensation that covered his first punch just earlier.

As for the other attacks that were not affected by the change in sensation whatsoever, Jekyll avoided all of them with great ease, even going so far as to swat away some of them as a show of his great confidence.

'...'

'How the hell does he even do it?'
