"I can't believe you are one of the top 5 players, how much do you get paid?" Alex asked.

"5,000 dollars in a month, that's the only reason my mum still lets me play the game," Melissa said.

"5,000!! A month!!" Alex's jaws dropped. 'When I bought my helmet, I had to save for months, if I had enough money then I would have been only of the top players by now'

"Is it too small or too big?" Melissa asked.

"I would be happy if I can earn that amount of money in a month, though I'm coming up, I'm going to be one of the top players in a few months" Alex stated.

"Your in-game name is Reaper right, where are you currently?" Melissa asked.

"I'm heading towards Zenith City, then to a pirate city then to Silver Continent, I'm searching for a potion called the shadow potion," Alex said.

"Shadow potion, you know about it?" she asked surprised.

"Yes, you know about it too"

Alex said as he opened the door and walked in, to his surprise his dad was sitting at the dining table eating, Alex didn't know he spent that much time out and he didn't bother checking his phone, that's one of the effects of a snowy weather

"Dad...what's the time..." Alex paused as he looked at the time, the time was almost 10 pm.

"Alex, this is the first time I'm seeing you after, how long were you gone?" Alex's dad asked.

Alex chuckled as he walked towards the dining table, "Hi Dad, it's been over a year"

"How have you been, I heard you bought a new game, Nova Online right?" his Dad smiled.

"How do you know the game, do you..." Alex stopped as he saw his mum's face.

"What's wrong, I thought..." Alex's dad stopped as he saw his wife's face, he immediately cleared his throat and focused on his dinner.

Alex's mum hates it when they speak when eating, even Alex's dad is afraid of his wife when it comes to eating, she was a good cook so he loves her cooking and never misses a chance to try out a new recipe his wife made.

After eating Ariana and Alisha cleared the dining table as always and Alex's mum went into the kitchen.

"So Dad I heard you have an amazing job now," Alex said.

"Yes, I work at a partner company of future companies, were you surprised I knew the name of that game?" Alex's dad smiled.

"Ohh, that's great," Alex said.

"We were also given a free helmet, I brought it back to give to you as a gift then I saw one in your room, you can't use two right?" Alex's dad asked.

"No you can't, but they are different quality, do you know the quality you were given?" Alex asked.

Alex's dad walked upstairs after his son to see the helmet, he was scouted by one of his managers in his former company who switched companies, the pay was good even though he had to out in more hours so he accepted.
