"Is the helmet gold?" Alex's dad asked as he walked in.
"It's Gold quality..." Alex mumbled, his face brightened as if he had found his purpose in life.
"Well, I'm glad you like it, I'm tired so I'm going to bed"
"Thanks Dad," Alex said as his dad walked away.
"Woah, it's actually a gold-quality helmet, but my account is already on that helmet, I should check just in case" Alex smiled as he ripped the package open.
The design of gold quality helmet made it a little different than the bronze quality, but it was the perks it offered that made people go after it.
The bronze quality helmet was the lowest grade helmet and so it has no perks or upgrades, then the Silver quality. The Silver quality starts the player at level 2 and offers certain perks.
Then the gold quality helmet starts the player at level 3 with increased HP and increased starting skills point. Instead of starting with 100 skills points, the player started with 150 and would allocate the points to any chosen stats.
The last but definitely not least, the diamond quality helmet, the diamond quality starts the player at level 5 with 200 skills points and increased HP and XP boost at an early stage, the diamond quality gives a newbie a good headstart.
Alex sat in his bed and put on the gold helmet, the game was being updated so he wouldn't be able to play even if he could use the helmet.

"Woah... it's like I'm really in the game" Alex smiled as he glanced through the information, the information came up one after the other in front of him.
Alex removed the helmet from his head as the screen turned blank, after the update time was displayed the screen turned off. Alex proceed to check his previous helmet to see if it was really out of commission.
Alex put on the helmet and the update timer didn't come up, the screen remained blank, Alex smiled and attempt to remove the helmet but he couldn't move his hands.
"What the!! my hands are numb, is it because I've been playing for a long time, shit I'm losing consciousness" Alex mumbled as his eyes slowly closed.
...
"Wake up" a voice shouted jolting Alex back from his slumber.
Alex's body jerked up as he looked around him, in front of him was the sixth elder god casually resting on the wall, this time Alex was on the ground and he was sitting in a stone chair.
"You, are you the one that called me?" Alex asked.
"Yes, the more we spend time together the easier it gets to summon you again" the boy spoke.
"I couldn't move my hands, I thought something else was wrong with me, so why did you call me, is demon King awake?" Alex asked.
"You are still treating the story I told you like a fairy tale, a tall tale that isn't going to come to pass, when humanity is on the brink of extinction, you would remember my warning"
"I didn't say it's not true, I was just asking, if it's not that why did you call for me?"
"You are in danger, the gods have made their move, be careful and watchful of your surroundings especially when you are alone, if you are not careful, you may lose your life," the boy said.
"So the person sent to kill me is here, what doesn't he look like?" Alex asked.
"What does it look like, it's neither male nor female but it can take both forms, it can appear as one of your close friends so be very careful"
"I'm still having a hard time believing a demon King is coming, if a demon King is truly coming, what can I do to stop him?"
"You can't stop his revival, so there's only one thing to do, get stronger, get faster, get more powerful, powerful enough to bring down a mountain, fast enough to stop a bullet and you would lead humanity to victory"
"You realize what you are saying is impossible right, no human can ever be fast enough to stop a bullet or bring down a mountain" Alex chuckled as he spoke.
"When the demon King awakens, the laws of physics would be defiled and Mana and abilities would flow in the world once again, only does who take their chances would survive in that new world"
"Then training now would mean nothing"
"No, the time is already near, it's coming faster than the gods anticipated, though I still don't know their plans but you have to be one step ahead or you wouldn't live to see the new world"
"I'll try my best, and the main reason I'm trusting you is that I still can't explain this, this meeting, this summoning, my special abilities in the game, that's the only reason I'm trusting you," Alex said.
"You trusting me is more than enough at this point, and another warning, those special abilities you are talking about, they don't exist only in the game, so be careful," the boy said as Alex fell unconscious before he could speak.
...
*Yawn*
Alex yawned loudly as he woke up, "Ouch" Alex moaned as he attempt to stretch his body and discovered that he slept on his chair with a mask on.
Alex removed the helmet from his head and tossed it on the floor as he walked towards the bed, Alex slumped on his bed the he realized what he did.
"My helmet..." Alex shouted as he stood up, all the sleep in his eyes cleared away as he saw the helmet on the ground.
"I hope it's not damaged" Alex muttered as he eyes caught something else, then he looked at his table and saw another helmet sitting there in perfect condition.
"My Dad got me a gold quality helmet, I already transferred my data" Alex sighed as he sat on his bed.
He totally forgot about the gold helmet as his eyes was covered by sleep, his bronze helmet was now useless now that he had transferred his data so he wouldn't care even if it was damaged.
"Someone is trying to kill me, even if nothing that boy is saying makes any sense, I won't let my guard down, last time I met him I actually saw the mark on my chest, even though I'm skeptical about this whole Demon Lord story, maybe it's true"
'Well, I'll have to see if something like that happens before I take any action, but for now I'll train, Nova Online would be ready tomorrow evening so I don't have anything doing, then I'll visit a gym today' Alex said to himself.
It was morning and Alex quickly brushed his teeth before taking his bath with hot water, he stepped out of his room and his Dad was already gone.
His mum had already made breakfast and they all ate before Alex woke up, so he had been sleeping for a long time.
"Morning mum" Alex spoke as he sat down to eat.
"I hope you don't sleep like this during school days, you would have time to study" Alex's mum said.
"I can only sleep like this because I'm at home, I don't sleep much in school" Alex said.
"Are you sure young man, I hope you are telling the truth" Alex's mum said as she walked towards the door.
"Are you going out?" Alex asked.
"Yes, I need to buy some groceries and other stuff, Alisha and Ariana are going with me, do you want to come along" Alex's mum said with a smile.
"I'll pass, do you know where I can find a gym?" Alex asked.
"A gym, you want to work out?" Alex's mum asked in surprise.
"Yes and don't be surprised, I'm just trying to do something or I'll be bored" Alex said.
"There's a huge gym left of here, I'm surprised you are going to a gym, you have a good body but you still want to go to the gym, I hope you aren't going there to look for girls?" she asked.
