As soon as Lulurun caught up with Rhynes, she started to explain the situation like she was trying to make excuses for cheating, but Rhynes didn’t know why she was angry, just moping around with her head all cloudy.
“It’s not that I’m mad at you!” Rhynes cried.
She was obviously in a bad mood as she speeds up her walk.
“So you’re saying you don’t even know why you’re mad…?” Lulurun asked.
“But, the thing is, when I saw you two hugging each other looking so happy, I don’t know why, but I got a sudden urge to kill you both,” Rhynes said.
“Does that lethal intent just strike up out of nowhere?” Lulurun asked.
“I just told you I don’t know!!” Rhynes yelled.
Ah, geeze! Rhynes went before she shook her head and turned her back to Lulurun.
“You know what, I don’t even care anymore!”
“If you don’t care, then get in a better mood,” Lulurun said.
“Aren’t I in a better mood?” Rhynes said.
“Do you think you sound like you’re in a better mood?” Lulurun asked.
As the two repeated this question and answer volley, they arrived on a plateau on the outskirts of the city.
“How many people know that you were a man, Keisuke?” Rhynes asked.
“Why do you ask?” Lulurun asked.
“The dining hall owner, and, umm, Syll… do they know?” Rhynes asked.
“No, of course, they don’t,” Lulurun says firmly.
“Is that so?” Rhynes asked.
“I don’t have to tell them, there’s no point in saying it, and it’s also more convenient for me to start a business in this world if I just exist as Lulurun,” Lulurun said.
“Then, is it just me?” Rhynes asked.
“It’s just you, Rhynes,” Lulurun said.
“I see, it’s just me…”
“It’s not that they would believe me even I told them, anyway,” Lulurun said.
“Why wouldn’t they believe you?!” Rhynes snapped.
“Huh?” Lulurun asked. “You didn’t believe me at first either, didn’t you, Rhynes?”
“That’s right, but now it’s different!” Rhynes said.
“Thanks, and… I thought about the meaning of my being reborn in this world and how to deal with magic. Now, it’s better and more important for me to create a company than all this witch stuff.”
“I see,” Rhynes said, looking down a bit sadly.
“I really do want to help you with the Witches, you know, Rhynes,” Lulurun said.
“You mean it?” Rhynes asked.
“Yeah, but on that note, I think you’re strong enough Rhynes,” Lulurun said.
“You overestimate me,” Rhynes said.
“I think you’re underestimating yourself,” Lulurun said.
Knowing Rhynes’ strength, Lulurun seriously thought she could defeat the Witches without any problems. “What even was the issue?” she thought.
But more than that, she worried about her being a human from another world.
“I don’t think it’s right for me, an alien of this world, to be involving myself in this world’s battles,” Lulurun said. “I think it should be alright if the natives can solve their problems, it may be irresponsible and incorrect of me to interfere.”
""
“I don’t mind, though,” Rhynes said.
“That’s because you know what I’m doing, Rhynes,” Lulurun said.
“You think so?” Rhynes asked though she looks a bit unconvinced.
“But, on that note, if you get hurt by a Witch or something, I’ll take care of it,” Lulurun said.
“… Keisuke,” Rhynes said.
“Because I’m certain I’m going to be very pissed off if that happens,” Lulurun said.
“Hahaha, if you go crazy, the world will be destroyed in 2 days, right?” Rhynes asked.
“I don’t know about that, maybe it will? Mmm, maybe it won’t,” Lulurun said.
“Aahhahaha, that was a joke, I won’t lose,” Rhynes said.
“I’ll give you special training for you to be at your strongest, Rhynes,” Lulurun said.
That they went to this plateau is to train the magic inherited by Rhynes.
The large, open area was necessary so they wouldn’t be noticed.
“Rhynes, the magic you inherited is the Transcendental Magic, Lazarion,” Lulurun said.
“Lazario…” Rhynes started.
“AAAAAHH!” Lulurun screamed, slapping her hand over Rhyne’s mouth.
“Mm-gh-gh-guh? (What did I do?)” Rhynes asked.
“You still can’t control the activation of spells, Rhynes, so the moment you say it, it’ll activate,” Lulurun said.
“Mm-gh-guh? (Is that so?)” Rhynes aksed.
“That’s why you should hold up a minute,” Lulurun said.
With that, Rhynes nods obediently.
The condition for Yokoi Keisuke-style spells is “saying the name will activate it.”
As Rhynes doesn’t understand that, she’d probably just mutter the name and accidentally activate the spell. Once it’s going, Lulurun’s assistance was needed to control it as Rhynes probably wouldn’t have a handle on it.
“I will assist you at first, and once you get used to it, you will be able to control it without my assistance,” Lulurun said. “Until then, never use it at your own will! Is that okay?”
“Got it!” Rhynes said.
“Then, let’s start the special training!” Lulurun cried.
