"It is going great. If they kept killing at such speed, the sacrifice would be finished in less than three days," said the winged woman with a smile.
"It might take more. Don't forget those who are dying are Primary's. Not even 10% of Sovereigns have been killed yet," said the horned man, but the smile on the winged woman's face did not disappear, instead it become brighter.
"They are resisting, but how long they will be able to do it? You will see, by the third day, these little Sovereigns will kill till there is no one remain to kill," said the winged woman.
"I hope so," said the horned man.
"You are worrying too much, Fias. It will be over in three days. After that, we will receive the blessing and then crossing the hurdles will be the job we will have."
"If we are lucky, we might even be able to breach the Prime," said the man with crystal nails.
Immediately, a dreamy look appeared in the eyes of all twelve Earth Sovereigns.
The Prime stage is their dream.
"If there is a way to reach the Prime. I will pay the price, no matter how big it is," said the old man, and his eyes became fanatic.
Some of the Sovereigns shuddered internally, seeing the look in the old man's eyes.
....
We left immediately and begin to move faster than before.
They also seemed to understand the level of danger we might have to face and there are crazies everywhere.
"Some people seemed to have followed us," said Clem. "Let them follow. As long as they do not want to kill us, we will not care about them," replied Kara.
I also agree with her. We are moving at an extremely fast speed. Those who can follow us at such speed are quite powerful. The best strategy would be to ignore them till they do nothing to interrupt us.
A few minutes passed and Sovereign came at us; he did not seem to know the meaning of the aura that had warned him, as he kept moving toward us.
Bang!
When he was just a hundred meters away; Clem attacked, sending him flying into the sky, bloodied.
He was careful not to kill him; they also suspected the effects of the seals from the beginning and avoided killing anyone. This is wise because I don't know what the brand would have done if they did it.
From what I experienced, it is clear the brand does something, and it is better not to do anything that makes it react.
Half an hour passed, and we have come against only two challenges. One was dealt with without stopping, and others needed to fight for a few minutes.
One more thing had happened. The people following us have more than doubled. They did nothing yet, but we are careful. These two are careful; I couldn't care less about being careful, since any of them could kill me within seconds.
I hope nothing happens, seeing we have reached very close to the blood beam. It is only an hour's distance away.
Once we reach it, the hidden being should tell me what to do, because if it didn't, then I will die. These people will kill me.
Hun!
I was thinking about the ways I could die when Kara and Clem's expressions turned serious, and they begin to slow down.
A couple of seconds later, I could sense the Sovereign coming toward us, and when I saw her power. A clear horror appeared on my face because that woman is a Peak Sovereign.
She is very strong. Kara and Clem wouldn't be her match. Unless, of course, they are hiding their power.
"We don't want to fight," said Kara, as the grey stone skin woman stopped in front of us. "I don't want to do it too, but I have to kill you to survive this place," said the stone skin woman with a sigh.
"We know how to get out of this place. It is in the center," said Kara, and the stone-skinned woman sighed again.
"If you had said that to me a few hours ago, I would have definitely come with you, but now I couldn't."
"The brand is asking me to kill you and until I do that, it won't let me live in peace," she said, and her eyes became red as she disappeared.
CLANNNG!
I waited for the death blow, but I heard a loud crashing sound and a powerful shockwave that was stopped by a defensive method from Clem.
The attack stopped, but it is not Kara, or Clem who had stopped it, but a tall Elf woman with golden blond hair. She is one of the people following us.
"We don't want any trouble, sugar. Why don't you let us leave," she said to the stone skin woman as I watched her in shock.
This Elf woman had her aura contained, and since she was Sovereign. I did not look too closely at her, but still, I didn't expect her to be a Peak Sovereign, powerful enough to take such an attack effortlessly.
"No," said the stone-skin and attacked, while the Elf woman just smiled, put away her sword, and disappeared.
She appeared a moment later, directly in front of the stone-skin woman, with her neck in her hand.
The stone skin woman struggled but was able to do nothing. The elf just shook her, before throwing her away toward the large boulder.
BANG!
The woman crashed against the boulder, crushing it to pieces.
I was watching the bloodied stone-skin woman twitching hard when the Elf woman turned to me with a sweet smile. "I really hope you know the way out of here, little human," she said, and her aura covered us.
We begin to move a moment later, much faster than before.
The Sovereigns following us also appeared behind us. It is clear they were not finishing in the water, but following us for a way to get out of this place.
It seemed like I had underestimated the people. There are a lot more level-headed people than I thought.
There are killers, but there are also people who don't want to kill people unless it is important. They do not kill for the other's benefits or pleasure, especially for sacrifice.
Half an hour passed, and a big change had occurred and many people joined us rapidly. Those who wanted to kill us begin to think twice; those who had brand compulsion taken over their whole mind.
I could feel the Sovereign's soul senses stretching far and wide, inviting everyone who wanted to leave, and there are many people who wanted to leave.
Within a minute, our numbers have swelled to over a hundred and rapidly increasing every second.
"There are an awful lot of people near the beam," said Clem. "It is not surprising."
"Those with common sense have made guessed that any chance of leaving this place would be at the center," replied the Elf, who had yet to introduce herself.
She is right, anyone with an iota of intelligence wanting to get out will come here first.
