Another batch of potions is finished, and I had funneled it into the bottles before starting with another batch.

Reyana tried to give me money, but I declined. I have some values. I am healing her and if I were to take money, I will do that after healing her, not before that.

I did not follow this philosophy with everyone, but with only those that I liked.

It had been five days since I had stopped the parasite in Reyana, but was building power again and will attack tomorrow, and this time, it will be hard to stop it.

Reyana had gone out yesterday to meet her contacts for the resources. She said they might have it, but she hadn't returned yet.

Vana is getting worried about her mother and so am I. It is not the parasite that would stop her, I am confident of my formation. The parasite won't be able to break it before tomorrow.

It must be something. I was letting my thoughts run wild when the door to the lab opened and Reyana walked inside with a smile on her face.

"I have got it," she said and a moment later, brought out the yellow root in her hand.

"Congratulations," I said, "Thank you. One of my old friends had it," she replied. That yellow root is not particularly expensive, but it is rare and has a lower shelf life compared to other resources.

"I will start the preparations. You go rest and spent time with your daughter."

"We will begin tonight," I said. "Can't we begin tomorrow?" she asked, with her beautiful thin wings dropping a little like her face in sadness.

"I could be called at any moment," I said. I had told her a little about my condition.

I can understand why she wanted to start tomorrow.

She wants to spend as much as time she can with her daughter since most of the time in these five days went into collecting the resources, but I could also be called at any moment, and I will not have the option delay.

"Ok," she said and walked out of the lab.

It is still morning; she still has a whole day to be spent with her daughter. Which is nothing, considering this day might be the last time her daughter might see her.

There is a 70% chance of failure.

I have finished with the preparation except for the root. I had sent it to my core and soon it will be refined.

A few hours later, I finished with the batch of potion and started with the treatments. Usually, I do that in the night, but tonight, I will be busy. So, I wanted to have finished with them now.

A few hours later, I was finished and dead tired, so I slept and when I woke up, it was evening.

I quickly freshen up and showered before I came down and walked into the kitchen.

The mother and daughter had gone out to spend the day visiting their favorite place.

I took out the things from my core and cook, and it felt good. My clones had cooked in a core and while we are the same, the feeling is different when I do it and I am doing it after months.

I am doing it to calm down, find the balance. Cooking always helps me with that.

I had nearly finished cooking when I heard the door open and mother and daughter walked in with happy smiles on their faces.

"I hope you don't mind me using your kitchen. Cooking helps me calm down," I said as they looked at me in surprise.

It may come as creepy, but it was only the kitchen in the house. I wanted to cook in my room before there was not enough space and I like to have some space when cooking.

"Of course not; It's a good thing you have cooked the dinner, it had saved me the trouble," said Reyana.

"I am nearly finished. You can freshen up and then we can eat," I said. She nodded and went to her room with her daughter.

I finished with the dish and began to set the table; I had just finished it when they arrived.

"It looked like the most delicious meal I will ever it," she said and looked at me. "Just how many talents do you have?" she asked, and I smiled.

"Culinary is just a hobby," I said, and she shook her head. "This does not feel like a hobby," she said before she took a bite of her food and immediately closed her eyes.

"It is heavenly," she said as she opened her eyes, while the young girl was munching on everything she can.

"Slow down, love; the food is not going anywhere," she said to her daughter, but the young girl did not listen.

I smiled seeing that and ate my food.

Soon we were finished, and I turned to her. "Where are we doing the process?" I asked her. "In my practice room," she said and pointed.

"The preparations will be finished in an hour," I said and walked toward the room, leaving her alone with her daughter.

All the preparations have been completed. I just wanted to give her some more time with her daughter. If I failed, these will be the last memories of her mother, that young girl will have.

I walked over to the practice room and took out the formation, which covered more than half of the room, before taking out the resources.

There is one more thing I have to do, but for it, I have to wait for her, and I waited.

A little more than an hour later, the door opened, and Reyana walked inside with her daughter.

"She will watch," she said. "Ok," I said with a smile before my face become expressionless.

"For the free movement of the runes, you will have to remove your clothes," I said. She seemed to have expected that, but still, her cheeks reddened.

"Ok," she said and begin to remove one article of clothing after another before she is completely naked.

"Sit in the center of the formation," I said, without looking at her, and she walked toward the formation. I also walked and sat down; she will sit directly in front of me.

Soon she appears in front of me, in her full glory.

She is a beautiful woman and kind of my type, with those high cheekbones and horns. I have Marina, whom I loved, more than my life. I couldn't help but get attracted to Reyana.

There is nothing strange about it; it is a natural reaction.

She sat down in front of me, with her cheeks flaming and the color of her beautiful wings turning denser.

"I will start," I said, and she nodded.

Next moment, hundreds of strings came out of me and went inside her, before turning into the runes, while at the same time, five formations lit up in my core to fill those runes with energies.
