Chapter 3249 Shorty



"Human, stopped running and accept the death," said the short Lizardman from behind. They had been chasing me for ten minutes; we have reached far enough that even a soul sense of Sovereign wouldn't reach this far.

"Why don't you just leave me alone?" I said back, and both of the Lizardmen grinned.

"Never," they said in unison and increase their speed further.

This time I let them cover more ground, till there are only two hundred meters remained between us, when I suddenly stopped and turned toward them.

"Fine. If you want to fight, I will fight you, but don't blame me when monsters came to kill us," I said angrily.

To that, they grinned.

"You don't have to worry about that," said the short Lizardman with bloodline and waved its hand. A moment later, the pillar had appeared and activated, creating the stealth field.

My expression couldn't help but become worse and looked back to escape again, only to see the second Black Scale Lizardman appearing behind me.

"Only death will be your escape, human!" said the short Black Scale Lizardman and came at me with aura blazing; it is not the only one who came. The other one had also come with a powerful aura, blazing across its body.

Burst 70%!

The 70% power of the burst filled me, and I moved toward the short Black Scale Lizardman, with a great sword in my hand.

It surprised it, but it grinned as the black ax appeared in its hand.

So, we appeared in front of each other, and our weapons clashed hard. Even in this environment, a powerful shockwave was released from our clash.

Though, it immediately begins to lose power, and a moment later disappeared, as the pillar absorbed all the power.

It is amazing how it worked, but unfortunately, I do not have time to admire it as the second Black Scale Lizardman appeared behind me and attacked, without making the slightest sound.

I avoided the attack by inch, but the very next moment, I saw another ax coming right at me from the short Black Scale Lizardman.

Seeing the way they attacked, it is clear these two bastards have great teamwork, but I am not a slouch either.

I have fought many of such people and know how to fight them.

These bastards are the most powerful enemies I had ever faced. Even in the sacrificial tower, the strongest enemy I had faced had been slightly weaker than them.

Now, I am fighting two of them, with really good teamwork and it couldn't help but excite me, and make my blood boil.

For a month, I had been without a single fight and since I had come into this ruin; I had been suppressed. The weakest monster I had come across was stronger than me; I had to hide every moment.

It feels good to finally fight and fight against such powerful enemies who could really kill me.

If I had the confidence to kill them in a single attack. I would have used all my strength to launch a powerful attack, but these bastards are powerful, and I have to conserve my strength as much as possible to use it at the right time.

The Black Scale Lizardman behind me also increased its power and launched an attack, which created a giant phantom behind its already huge ax.

I activated the burst at 80% and moved my sword to defend against the attack.

I defended before dodging the attack from the second Black Scale Lizardman.

Since the battle begins, I have not clashed with it, even a single time. I know it is frustrating; it is why I am doing it. If I wanted, I could have clashed with it and dodged the attack of Black Scale Lizardman, but I did not.

I am doing that, not to mess with it, but also became I am more cautious of short Black Scale Lizardman.

"You have a wild imagination, shorty," I taunted, and its eyes turned red with such rage that I nearly opened my mouth to apologize.

It seemed like the word had a special meaning and I should speak it more.

"You shouldn't have said that, human," it said with gritted teeth and a smile on its face. "What, shorty? But you are short; shortest of thousands of Lizardmen, I had fought in my life," I said, and the damn broke away.

"I will kill you!" it shouted and a scary, powerful aura blazed from its body, turning to a bloodline phantom a moment later.

The phantom is clearest; I had seen it from the Primary-III and it remained out for a moment, before merging inside it, reinforcing its power.

The Black Scale Lizardman had also burst out with pull power. Seeing that, I did not hold back either.

Burst 90%

"If hate your height so much. Why don't you just increase it? I am sure there are hundreds of methods that will let you do that," I asked.

It is a valid question. While there are very few methods to change the whole body, there are many if you want to become taller or more handsome.

Many humans and other races used those cosmetic methods.

"Shut up!" It roared, and powerful black energy covered its whole body and ax in an instant before it attacked me. Another powerful attack came from behind; if any of them hit me, it will be a game over.
