Chapter 3376 Shame

I reached the place and put down the formation. A moment later, a powerful explosion rang out.

Thank God. I had deployed the isolation cover, which isolated the sound and what the explosion had done from other soul senses.

The formation is a drilling kind; it is designed to create a long hole, and it had done just that. It had opened the hole long enough to connect with a natural tunnel down below.

I looked at it and jumped before flying down.

The gravity is too slow. I want to reach down faster before anyone senses me and foil my plan of escape.

It is the only chance I have, and I don't want to mess it up.

Soon, I reached the natural cavity and begin to fly through it. There are many places, it had been blocked, but I crushed through it, before stopping a minute and a half later.

I looked at the dense bluish ghostly formation. If I want to get out, I will have to cross it.

One would need to be a Sovereign at the level of Governor to break through it and even then, they would need to attack it a couple of times to break it.

Unfortunately, I don't have the strength, but I have something. That even they didn't have.

I deactivated my armor, and a moment later; the formation activated in my core.

A couple of seconds later, tiny ant size bluish runes begin to come out and started covering me. I had collected the energy from ghostly formation and mixed it with an insane amount of rule-bending power.

I am using rule-bending power, which took me more than three months to collect.

It pains my heart to see it used such a large amount of it once. I have never in my life used such a high amount of forbidden power, but I am doing it now for my survival.

In less than a second, the formation had covered my whole body and dropped toward the ghostly formation below.

The formation I am wearing will be making the ghostly formation believe I am the same energy it is emitting. Since it is the only thing that seemed to pass through it with no resistance.

I don't know whether it will work on not. It is an old formation I am using.

I didn't have time to new one, even with three times time dilution and six clones.

It is a formation I created in the rune and had just mixed bluish energy into the massive forbidden power, and now wishing it will work.

If it didn't and I felt the cultist sensing me; I will kill myself.

If they sense me, they might realize I am using the forbidden power, and that is bad. Once they capture me, I will suffer a fate worse than death.

I have read what people do for forbidden power, and I don't want to suffer any of those fates.

My feet touched the formation, and I expected it to blaze and alert the sovereign, but they passed through it.

I pass through it without bringing any change.

A moment later, my whole body was out of, and I didn't sense any change in the formation.

Seeing that, I couldn't help but take a sigh of relief.

Though I didn't waste any time; I took back the runes and activate my armor and started to make my way down, till I reached the end.

I have come quite deep. There are steaming rocks around me, but it is still not deep enough.

Staying here is a risk. and sat down and took out formation before closing my eyes and sealing all my power.

Twenty-three minutes later, a hole opened in front of me, and Nero came out of it.

I opened my eyes and unsealed my power.

'Let's go, Father,' Nero said and both of us begin to travel through the tunnel he had just made.

He had become quite good at making tunnels, and he developed a method of his own. It is really good and highly advanced each elemental method.

We begin to move, and behind us, the tunnel would close up, as if nothing had been dug through it a few seconds ago.

It is so natural that nobody could find any proof of it.

I may have forbidden power, but Nero is made of it. He could do things that I could only dream of.

Minutes passed as we moved through the tunnel. Now and then, a natural tunnel would open up, and we would travel through it before moving to the one Nero had dug.

We might be crawling through the tunnel, but our speed is quite high. We have left the city behind minutes ago and now moving further away from it.

Away from the soul sense of sovereigns.

One hour and seven minutes after we started crawling, we stopped, and Nero turned to me.

'Father, you move ahead. I will go look at the city,' he said. "It is extremely dangerous, Nero," I warned him, instead of stopping him.

'I know, Father and I will be careful,' he said and left, while I made my way through the underground, before coming out twenty minutes later.

I saw the moonlit night and made my way forward. The further I am from the city, the better.

I want to be far as away from it, no matter how much guilt I feel leaving it behind.

Though Nero, I could see the battle is still going on. Though he couldn't see much through the dome without using his powerful abilities, he could still see enough to tell people are still fighting.

This means, the blond-haired woman is still fighting against the Governor and the four powerful Earth Sovereigns are still beside the pillar.

As I moved away from the danger, my mind calmed down and I could think more rationally.

The first thing I understood, was how idiot the blond-haired woman had been. It is all because of her that millions of people are going to die.

If she had an intel, on the governor being a member of Ishban. She would have come prepared, instead of coming alone.

The fault also lies in superior sending her alone; with one other person with her.

The gravest mistake she made was revealing herself. She had done an idiot thing in attacking the Governor's son and revealing herself and instead, she should have led the governor out.

It would have saved the lives of millions.

Even I, who mostly fought solo, knew the basic of hunting criminals, but an idiot from the most powerful organization didn't.

Sixteen minutes passed, and another change occurred. The Four Sovereigns, who had been sticking their hands to pillars, have removed them and entered the dome.

A couple of seconds later, intense fluctuation was felt through the dome.

They are very powerful, and I didn't have a guess where they were coming from. The four sovereigns have likely started attacking the blond-haired woman.

She will probably die, but I hope she survives.

She had made a grave mistake and needed to be punished heavily, but she didn't deserve to die. She is a powerhouse fighting the cultist. We need more of such people, but wiser.

This failure and loss of millions of lives will be a great lesson to her. If she survives.

A minute passed and then another, when suddenly the fluctuations stopped.

I sighed, feeling she died, before stopping mid-way.

As suddenly, a loud banging sound rang out and the golden dog breached through the bluish dome and flew away extremely fast speed.

A fraction of seconds later, three more dots came out of the dome and moved toward the golden dot.

In a few seconds, the dots disappeared.

I hope she survives and am thankful that she didn't come in my direction.

A minute later, Nero begins to make his way toward me. It surprised me. I thought he would stay there till the dome came down, but it seemed like he didn't want to.

I am glad.

He might not know what will happen next, but I do.

The rest of the people will die and the Ishban will disappear with their harvest. They will infiltrate another city and prepare for another harvest.

'I will kill you all, you bastards!' I promised.

I am running in shame and this shame will remain in my heart, till I kill each and every one of them.

Especially the Earth Sovereigns.

I have auras of everyone. Earth Sovereign and Sovereigns. I even have auras off four Earth Sovereigns that came out later.

Nero was able to collect that, and while the samples were faint, it was enough for me.

Next time I come across them, I will sense them. It didn't matter if they were cloaking their auras or changing it through the method, as long as I get even a hint of their aura, I will recognize these bastards.

Till then, I need to abide by my time and get stronger.

With my current strength, I could only think about taking revenge. If I had the strength, I wouldn't have run away like a coward.

A few hours passed and evening came. When I saw the group of Earth Sovereigns moving toward the Halis.

It is the third group I had seen in the past two hours, coming from the same direction. They finally seemed to know what happened and are moving toward the Halis in doves.
