Chapter 3377 Breakthrough



Eight and a half days had passed since the incident of Halis, where more than ten million people died.

I have seen what the cultist had done to the city, and it is still giving me nightmares.

A day after we escaped from Halis; Nero had gone back there and saw what the cultists have done to the city. The beautiful city had turned into a ruin, and the worse thing is, they have not been able to catch even a single cultist.

Which didn't surprise me; Ishban is good at escaping after they are done; rarely their members get caught.

Still, I did my part and threw a couple of crystals. Recordings as well as samples of auras. It might help them in some way.

From what Nero had heard. The organization is getting investigated by Alkaz and all their members and Earth Sovereigns are scared. If Alkaz finds enough proof, they could punish and disband the organization.

I shook my head and focused ahead.

In two hours, I will reach Merle city; it is not the first city I have come across since leaving the Halis, but I am staying here.

I had planned to make a breakthrough in the Halis, but the cultist attacks, and after that, I was not in the right mindset to do it.

Now, I felt like I was ready. I have finished the inheritance and even triple-checked it, everything is perfect. The level-up will give me a huge boost and will make me the best among the Sovereigns.

Though, it won't be close to attacking those cultists. I didn't expect to gain that strength, but it will be a step toward it.

One and a half an hour later, I landed in front of the city gates. Where the security is very tight, it is due to it that there is a line.

Ishban's attack had spooked the organization very much. In response, they have heavily tightened their security. So much that are now three Earth Sovereigns at the gate.

A few minutes later, I walked into the house; noting down all the loopholes have been made to spy on people. There are a lot of them, some of them being made in the last few days.

They have likely done it on the orders of the organization.

Those people didn't want another cultist incident and keeping an eye on everyone powerful. Including their own people, which is not surprising, seeing the Governor of Halis was a high-ranking member.

She was part of the ruling council, below the leader of the organization.

The house is standard size, with one bedroom and one training room. Which is fine for me; I do not need a bigger space.

I looked around before walking into the kitchen and started to cook, while at the same time, a strand of my soul sense connected to the formation, and started showing the feed of me cooking.

Though, the skill of person and me are miles apart.

Usually, I do not hide my cooking, but since these people are being suspicious of everything, I don't want to give them anything that will bring them to my door.

A little over an hour later, I finished cooking the meal for myself and ate it alone.

Once that is done, I went to my room and laid on the bed to sleep.

Fourteen hours and nine minutes later, I woke up feeling completely refreshed.

I didn't immediately get off the bed and stayed staring at the wall, thinking about what I was going to do today. I don't go over things, as I have already made all the preparations.

Little more than a ten minutes later, I got off the bed to freshen up and shower.

An hour later, I was in the kitchen, cooking a breakfast. I didn't make a sumptuous one and instead cooked a simple one, with a few ingredients, and ate it alone.

Once it was done, I washed the dishes and walked into the practice room, where all my clothes vanished.

I sat naked in the center of the room and a white metal ring with a purple line in middle, appeared in my hand.

It is my breakthrough, an artifact I had designed. I am kind of excited about using it, considering I had reforged it with entirely new functions.

It now worked much differently, mostly importantly. It is forged for my needs, my breakthrough, which is different from others' breakthrough.

Though others could make a breakthrough with it, and it would have been great if I had been able to test it on others before using it.

I didn't get a chance, and after the incident in Halis, I could forget doing such things.

A few seconds passed, and I closed my eyes and appeared in my core, in front of the huge, runic humanoid. I looked at it for a few seconds, before tapping it gently on the head.

Immediately, I got repelled out of my core and it buzzed, and, with the ring I wore on, my middle finger, shined.

For a minute, nothing happened, except for my core started turning into the blob, before finally, the light on the ring dimmed and runes begin to come out of it.

These runes are not white or purple, but multicolored, with more than half of them being green in them; they also contained dense herbal essences into them.

The breakthrough artifact I had reforged is entirely different from the old one.

One of the cool things I have added in it is internal storage. It is not a normal internal storage from space stones, which are using in rings or spatial devices, but from the spatial seed.

I have forged a Peak Sovereign grade space seed into it, and in that space forged a complex mechanism.

This ring is less like an artifact and more like a complex machine. I had placed resources inside it, which it begins mixing the moment the breakthrough started.

It is really efficient and versatile, thanks to the centurion lotus, which I had used to forge it, along with many other resources.

Now these runes are coming out of it perfectly and each would move in the place they need to be on my body. The ring has a powerful scanning function, but I had put my detailed meta-scan in it for greater accuracy.

In twenty-eight seconds, smaller-than-ant runes, covered every part of my body, filled with dense essences that will be consumed by my core.
