I opened my eyes, and there was a smile on my face.

I didn't get many things, but I got what mattered the most and that's all matters to me.

Now, the auction is also over. The selection had also started, and I could see some people had already been selected by the realms; I looked at their names before swiping the notification away.

Instead, I focused on the list of cities I have shortlisted.

I am not going to return to Javelin. I have made that decision before even entering the gate, but I am not sure where I would go next.

I could go anywhere near the gate, and that is thousands of cities.

Thankfully, based on the information I have, my clone had shorted the list on my criteria. Like being away from the Prime organization and conflict zones.

Still, there are fifty-two cities from which I have to choose, and it is not easy.

Though I have to make the decision; at nine the gates would open, and I will need to leave through one of them.

I also need to be careful. People will be keeping an eye on me. I have cleared quite many challenges and also accepted a shit load of cards.

People wouldn't let me in peace; everyone would want t a piece of me.

Thankfully, I have dealt with that problem long ago.

I knew the answer to this problem. It is why; I had accepted so many cards and the option had cost me a thousand points, it is worth it. Seeing the sheer amount of resources I had been able to collect through them.

The library has everything many books and also information on cities.

I took out information on all the cities and began to flip through the pages.

It would have been great if I could take these books and crystals inside my core. It would have been much faster, but I had to do it in a slow way.

Still, it didn't take more than an hour for me to collect all the information. My clones started to sort through it all, while I focused on the different things.

Before I knew it; it was three and the selection ceremony had ended, and I had received a few messages.

Reading them, I got up.

I have to participate in a thing.

It is tradition here, which happens every time, and since I am part of the culinary stream; I have to participate.

Well, it is me who designed the menu.

On the way to the destination, I checked the tablet of the final list of people who were selected.

Seeing that, I couldn't help but feel surprised and jealous.

Seraphina had been selected, and so has the Keva and Abril. In total, seventy-one people have been selected. A little less than last time, but still a good number.

I am a little disappointed that I didn't get selected.

Though I would have rejected them. Still, it would have felt good if even a single realm had selected me, but they didn't.

A few minutes later; I reached the place where a few hundred people had already gathered.

I am at the biggest open space in the sermon palace; it is huge enough to fill all people in the realm comfortably.

There will be a huge party, starting from five, and since it is a party, there will be food and responsibility for that fall on culinary stream.

"Hello everyone; I hope you all are as excited as I am," I said to them and many nodded excitedly.

"Then let's begin," I said and pressed my palm on the column and immediately, opened a massive open-air kitchen materialized around us.

Even I am surprised by its size.

"Let's begin," I said excitedly and moved.

I am excited as it has been a long time since I am going to cook the food for so many people. There are around half a million people, and we five hundred some going to cook food for them in four hours.

It will be a challenge, but I am excited about it.

Rarely do I get to cook for so many people; the last time I did such a thing, it is my home world.

The materials were already collected, given by everyone; it had only taken less than two hours to collect since all contributed.

All I had needed to do was send the message to nearly half a million, and they chipped in.

I looked around and saw every single person was busy, from washing to cutting.

They are amazing and I wish I could be as amazing as them.

I didn't remain idle either and began cutting different vegetables, seasoning the meat, and other things.

An hour passed and the kitchen began to run hot.

I am myself managing the nine different things alone, at pots and pans, which are as big as a house.

ooking those dishes isn't easy; the slightest mistake and whole flavor would get jumbled, and I don't want that.

I want people to taste the best food they have ever eaten in their lives, and I am using every ability I have to do that.

If I had been alone; I would have taken it all to my core and done all the cooking here, but even there, it would have been hard for me to cook a meal for half a million people in the time I have.

Time passed, and people gathered around the huge ground.

The music had already started and so are the performances on different stages. The drinks begin to flow like water and people are not hesitating at all.

It is a good thing this place had inherent restrictions.

Primary III wouldn't be able to drink the drink of Sky Sovereign. Even if they were able to get their hands on it.

Finally, the last pot turned off, and we shifted the food auto-caterer.

"Well done, everyone. Now, enjoy the party," I said to everyone, and we got out and began to dance and drink.

Within a few minutes, I spotted a familiar person and went toward her.

"Congratulations," I said to Seraphina, who is glowing in happiness. "Thank you." She said, before focusing on me.

"I wish you had been chosen as well," she said.

"It is fine," I said with a smile.

I am not going to say I would have rejected the offer, even if I was selected. That seemed too presumptuous; it is better to be humble and show some disappointment.

"My organization may not be a realm, but it is still good. Capable of fostering a talented person like you," she said.

"I would think about it if you gave me the card," I said, to which she rolled her eyes.

Though a moment later, her eyes turned serious.

"Be careful with those cards; they are extremely dangerous," she warned. "I know. I will be careful," I replied.

Soon, we turned away from serious topics and began to dance.

I am not much of a dancer, but I know how to enjoy myself and I did, letting go of my inhibition.

Everyone is doing the same as it is the only place they can do it, without fear for their safety.

Even their organizations aren't as safe as this place is.

Time passed, and with every minute, the party turned raging. People ate, drank, and enjoyed.

Even I am starting to enjoy it so much, that I started to sweat.

Before I knew it, it was nine and the colorful lights materialized in the sky, before turning into the thousands of gates.

Immediately, the party slowed down, and a minute later everything had stopped.

People have started to fly toward those gates.

Yes. The restriction on the flying had been lifted. We can now fly. As long as moving toward the gates.

"Ramon, take this," said Abril and handed me the small box. I looked at him in question.

"It is a great opportunity. We had got it after a great struggle, but now, as you can see, it is useless to us," said Keva.

With them getting accepted into a realm; they do not need any other opportunities.

"Thank you," I said from the bottom of my heart.

They could have sold it and would have gotten great things in exchange, but they have given them to me, but since they did it; it is only fair that I give them something in exchange.

I had spent a thousand points on it, and it is worth it. Now, I am a completely different person.

It is hard to make a choice, but I had selected the city and I unhesitantly took a step toward it.
