"How you were able to get out of the slime?" asked the Earth Sovereign as he controlled his emotions.

"You do not need to know that; the only thing you need to know is that I am going to kill you three very painfully," I said to them, and Earth Sovereign smiled.

"I don't know how you came out of the slime, but you can forget getting out of this place,"

"Even a Peak Earth Sovereign couldn't, and you are not that," he said, and this time, it was my turn to smile.

"I didn't need to be a Peak Earth Sovereign to kill a weakling like you," I said to him, and the fury in his eyes increased further, but he didn't move toward me and instead turned to the tablet.

I didn't disturb him and just watched.

"What did you do?" he asked with fear apparent in his eyes.

"There are several questions in my mind, I would be grateful if you could answer them without me using some very painful means," I said to them and could see the Sovereigns behind him shaking.

A moment later, it disappeared and appeared in front of me, rapier in his hand, but there was no smile on his face, as it had been a few seconds ago.

There was now extreme fear, seeing I was gripping his neck in my hands.

It had happened too fast. He appeared in front of me and was about to swing that rapier from his hands when he found my hands on his neck.

He didn't even see them move.

"How is this possible?" he asked, and I smiled.

I didn't say anything, and instead, an injection appeared in my hand, with a red oily liquid in it.

"The serum inside is called the drogan's mercy; I am sure you had heard about it,"

"I am going to inject in you and ask you a few questions, which you will answer, or I do not need to tell you what will happen, right?" I asked and pierced the needles into his arm.

I released him and he didn't escape, just looked at me with anger and fear.

"I do not know anything; they never revealed anything about them," he said.

I have to say, this man is behaving much better than I thought. Most people in his place would have tried to get away, despite knowing it was futile. This one stayed despite every part of his body asking him to do the same.

I wish he had used his intelligence and hadn't become a part of the cult. It would have spared him from the punishment, he is going to receive.

The first few questions were the ones I already knew the answer to. I have been snooping on them for over ten minutes, heard everything they talked about, and they talked about a lot of things.

I didn't even give him the mercy of releasing the scream.

I looked at him for a moment before turning to two.

"Are you going to give us the same punishment?" asked the woman. "Yes, but if answer all the questions truthfully, you will be able to end your suffering within a day,"

"While this one will experience it for a much longer time," I answered and turned to the man.

"Don't bother trying to self-destruct your core; it will not work," I said to the man, who was trying to do it, but failing.

I already asked all the questions about Earth Sovereign, but there are more I want to ask. These two have discussed some things about their employer, that made me curious.

They had seen something accidentally, and they were discussing those things.

I want to know the full details of that.

These cultist bastards had captured me and tried to use my essence, and would have done something even worse after they had finished with the harvest.

I am going to find them and kill every one of them. It will be extremely hard, but I am not without leads. They will eventually take me to these cultist' bastards.

"Lie," I said suddenly to the man, and the syringe appeared in my hand and I pushed it into his veins.

He had answered many questions right, but lied on this one and I couldn't let that slide.

He fell down and began to twitch madly while I resumed questioning the woman, who had started shaking without me doing anything.

A few minutes later, I looked down and stopped the effect of the serum.

"Will you lie again?" I asked, and the man shook his head wildly. "I will answer all your questions in all your truthfulness; I hope you will kill me immediately after that," he said.

"That won't be possible, but if you lie again; I am going to increase the time, you will remain in serum," I replied and could see thoughts spinning in his eyes.

I didn't wait and resumed asking questions and soon; I was finished with them.

"Good, now it is time for punishment," I said, and another syringe appeared in my hand and pierced it into the girl, before activating it.

Both of them fall to the ground and begin twitching; they have committed a grave crime, and it is their punishment.

I looked at them for a moment before turning toward the door.

Behind that door, lies the biggest obstacle to my freedom. If I defeat them, I will be free, but it won't be easy.

Even though I am confident, I will be able to defeat the danger behind the door, there is no other choice.

It was the only way I could get out of here.
