Chapter 3460 Killing High Earth Sovereign

"How do you like this?" he asked as he continued with the attacks, while I took a step back.

Everything around us is being destroyed, from trees to boulders. Only the buildings have remained without a scratch. They are made from the stronger stuff; it is very hard to break them.

"What are you proud of? You are only pushing me. You have yet to cause even a single injury to me," I asked back.

Lighting a spark of anger in his eyes, before he controlled his emotions.

It had been over half an hour since we started fighting and I was using 90% of my power. It is a huge power, but not enough to deal with the enemy I am fighting.

I had already expected that, but that doesn't mean I couldn't defeat him. I will defeat him.

"You are right, I shouldn't feel proud till I kill you," he said calmly before all the anger he was hiding burst out and it was not the only thing that had burst out. His full power also did.

The grey aura came out and covered a large area around us and whatever it had covered began to turn into dust.

Be it trees, rocks or even the clothes on the bodies of Earth Sovereigns. All of it turned into the dust.

"Might Of Dissolution!"

He shouted as the huge phantom of a fist formed behind him and came at me as it attacked.

I didn't hold back either and harnessed a full power of burst. It filled my body to the brim, wanting to get out, and I gave it and then released it. It filled the formations and entered into my saber.

With this mighty power, I took a step forward and attacked. Surprising him.

Till now, since the battle began, I had never taken a step forward. I had always defended my place, but not anymore.

It is time I finished him, and I will do it.

Our attacks moved closer and closer, every moment getting more and stronger. As we poured everything, we could into the attack.

His attack looked mighty, with a dense grey aura covering his whole body. Especially denser around the spear, with an enormous fist behind him, with an oppressive power that will scare anyone.

Finally, our weapons reached close, and he tried to move his spear around my saber, but I didn't let that happen.

My spear clashed against my saber and an insane number of energies came toward me like a flood, while its spear tried to bypass again.

This time, I let him do it, and his spear came at me with a grin on his face.

The grin only lasted for a moment, when he had released. My saber had already reached him, with him moving away from the path of his spear, without him noticing.

I only had a fraction of a second to achieve that and it is extremely hard and wouldn't have been possible without all the data I had collected from him.

Still, it reacted quickly and summoned many defensive methods, while retreating.

It might have been able to achieve that if there wasn't a reverse momentum, but now he could forget.

My sword reached, touched the first defensive method, and pierced through it with no problem. The same happened with second and third; no defensive method, lasted against the sharpness of my saber.

Finally, my saber touched the chest and pierced through it.

It was a little tricky to hit the spot I wanted with the curved saber, but I did and a second later, he froze.

He looked into his wide eyes filled with shock and horror.

"It was a nice battle," I said to him and waved my hand and immediately. The four others appeared in front of me.

I looked at them. Before the saber disappeared from my hand and in its place, five syringes appeared.

"You all are very experienced, but let me promise you. The serum contained here is not easy either, and I really hope you will not force me to be active in it," I said and pushed it into their veins.

"I only have a few questions, answer them truthfully. Depending upon the answer, I will decide your punishment and please don't lie."

"It will increase your punishment and give you the pain you had never experienced before, along with damaging your core and veins," I said, and could see, it is what the last sentence, that brought a change in their eyes.

All of them here are quite experienced; they have suffered all kinds of pain, to reach this stage.

Unlike the three inside, the pain is not enough to get them to answer the questions, but a threat to their core and veins, and they will.

"The first question is..."

I started, and it took about two and a half hours before I stopped.

None of them are innocent. They know what is happening inside and like three researchers. These three have been recruited by the cultists to provide security in exchange for the resources.

It is not news I like to near, as it will make things even more complicated, but I am glad, at least, I know about it.

I sighed, before taking their storages, except for one.

The one connected to seals inside them. The cultists are smart; they use various smart ways to get alerted when someone infiltrates their facilities.

I need to be extremely careful, lest I accidentally trigger some alert.

I didn't touch those connected rings. However, I have found what I am looking for and appeared in front of the door.

A moment later, the door clicked open, and entered back inside.

Of course, I had made arrangements. So, I could get out when I wanted, and as for why, I had come back.

I have to do a few things for these people.

It won't be an easy escape and it might take time. This means I couldn't take them with me, even if I wanted to.

I planned to do something that would start healing them. I have already made the preparations and it won't take more than a few hours to finish the work.
