Lu Shaoting chuckled. Small Xixi was probably exaggerating. Even if Xu Tang bullied Lu Meili, Lu Aotian wouldn't possibly blacklist Xu Corporation. How much sense would that make? Besides, if Lu Corporation made such a huge decision, he would be the first to find out. 

Lu Aotian was probably just messing with Xu Corporation a little to teach Xu Tang a lesson.

He patted Small Xixi's head. "Don't worry about it. Xu Corporation will not possibly collapse. Why are you not in school?" 

Small Xixi finally recalled that she should be in school. "I'll go right away. Uncle, you're the best."

No one knew but Xu Tang had already gone to look for Lu Aotian. 

"What do you want?" Lu Aotian wasn't so friendly. 

Xu Tang took a seat as though he wasn't afraid at all. "Stop messing with my company. You know how hard I've worked to get it to this level." 

"What if I don't?"

"Because it's disgusting. Do you realize that you just used your daughter?" 

Lu Aotian glared at the young man trying to show his confidence before him. "You are only here because my daughter loves you. If not, you would be in hell since many years ago."

Xu Tang sighed. "I know. And I also know why you hate me." He didn't wait for Lu Aotian's reaction. "You are not scared of Aunty Wan Jia finding out anything because she already knows that side of you... but you are scared that if Meili found out how cruel you are, your image of the most gentle and loving daddy would be ruined before her." 

"Leave when you're done." 

"I will. I don't like being here either." Xu Tang stood. "I only came to let you know that you don't have to worry about Lu Meili finding out anything. I forgot what happened that day. It somehow got erased from my memory after being sick for years. All I remember is your bodyguard's murderous warning and your firece glare the next time you and I met. 

Though I don't find it reasonable. If you were going to do something terrible, why would you do it in the open? Perhaps I'm not the only one who saw it, don't you think?" 

Lu Aotian was getting impatient. "It's none of your business." 

Also, if he was going to lie, why couldn't he find a better way to do it? He saw what happened, but he forgot it, yet he remembered how his bodyguard had glared at him? Had this young man watched too many melodramatic television series? 

Wait, the main point here was that he was right. Xu Tang had seen it. 

The pen in his hand suddenly broke. "Why are you still here?" 

Xu Tang gathered all his courage to say this. "Stop messing with me and I will never tell Meili a word of it." Of course he wouldn't. He knew that if he did, Lu Meili might be scared. 

Lu Aotian chuckled. "Are you striking a deal with me? Are you worthy?" 

"If not, I cannot guarantee how shut my lips will be." 

"I see. Young Master Xu thinks he is old enough to..." 

Xu Tang felt danger coming his way. He laughed it off. "Forget it. What I meant to say is, you don't have to worry. I know you saw through my lie but I will never say a word of it to her. Of course, I don't want her to feel insecure either." 

"Good." 

Xu Tang frowned. What was 'good'? Did that mean Xu Corporation was going to be let off?

When Lu Meili returned from the Lin residence, she still needed to prepare for her audition. She had spent three days in the Lin residence and only had three days remaining before her audition day. 

This time, she didn't go to YX Dance Academy.
