Unlike the earth realm, humans from the Savage Beast Realm and even others could directly absorb mana from their surroundings. They don't have to rely on consuming Spirit Plants or magic pills although those things would definitely make them progress faster

In this realm, there are more treasures that could increase one's absorption talent or remove the impurities on their bodies since an absorption talent of at least 90% is necessary to become a Junior Mage

A fairly clean and pure body is required to become a Junior Mage. As for the reason or how to reach that rank? Currently, Rezen doesn't know

While he was fed with many basic information by Ivy, the fairy's database is incomplete, or should we actually say 'damaged'

Ivy might possess some high-level knowledge but lack some of the most basic information

If we were to compare Ivy to a book, this book might have missing pages or torn pages that are in random

As such, if Rezen wants to learn how to become a Junior Mage, he must find out how by himself but he wasn't concerned much about it

Even if the tribesmen lack many foundational knowledge, some of them still reached the Junior Rank. Rezen don't believe that he cannot ask them the way to become a Junior Mage

Since Rezen hasn't even reached the minimum requirement, the funny-face ginger is a must-have item for him

While using his other hand, Borsus showed Rezen yet another Spirit Plant and the latter's eyes lit up

"I don't really know what this Spirit Plant is for but I know that it was better than normal!" He continued

Mages, magic beasts, and spirit plants shared the same rankings. Junior Spirit Plants are effective to mages or even magic beasts at the Junior Rank and below but there are also differences between the same rank

For Mages, there is the first cycle of 'blessing', second cycle, third cycle, and so on and the same was also true for Spirit Plants

The quality of Spirit Plants that Rezen encountered was only at the first cycle while the second Spirit Plant that Borsus showed was at the second cycle of blessing!

At least in the area that Rezen lived in, Spirit Plants in the second cycle are rare. It could mostly be found deeper in the forest but Rezen doubt that Borsus would have the guts to enter that deep into the forest. He most likely became lucky and encountered this second cycle Spirit Plant without heading deep into the forest

Unfortunately, while Rezen desires this Spirit Plant, he doesn't know what this Spirit Plant is or how to use it since he hasn't memorized all the Spirit Plants on Ivy's database

He could only hope that if he ask Ivy later, he would find out that this Spirit Plant that looks like an aloe vera is a useful Spirit Plant

"Alright, I'll take them and I'll teach you stronger spells but before you could use those spells, you must have the corresponding theories first!" Rezen said

The tribesmen of the Waterside Tribe when they are at the Apprentice Rank mostly only study water magic since that is the element of the Resonance that they have access of

Unless they are as lucky as Jenna that found another type of Resonance Gem, they wouldn't bother learning theories of other elemental magic

It was better to devote their time hunting for food or trying to reach the Junior Rank

"Hehe, your lucky, I already consumed a few funny-face gingers in the past and I built up a resistance. While it would still remove more impurities in my body, it wouldn't be as effective as before and it is better to give this to the tribe's healer!" Borsus said quite smugly and Rezen merely shrugged his shoulder

He received the Spirit Plants from Borsus and stored them inside his own hut first before he teach Borsus again

However, before Rezen could teach Borsus, he heard someone loudly shouting outside

Since the huts of the tribesmen are near each other, they don't take up much space. As such, if someone were to shout, most likely, everyone in the tribe would hear it

"Scums from the Metal Sword Tribe how dare you to come here! You're not welcome in our tribe! No, actually come here, I will kill you!"

Whoever was shouting outside was definitely filled with rage and Rezen hurriedly went out of his hut to check the situation

It didn't take that long before he got the gist of what was happening

There was a tribesman that was being held by the others while trying to reach some people with his 'claws'

Rezen remembered that tribesman, it was the one that brought the tribesman that was injured by the people of the Metal Sword Tribe before

If Rezen remembered it correctly, that man's name was Brave Man, a rather crude name. He was very close to Omnipom that was maliciously attacked

Not only were all of his limbs cut off, he his whole body was burned and he was left in a half-death state

Considering that the Metal Sword Tribe uses metal-type magic, it was a Junior Mage of that tribe that puts Omnipom on the brink of death

The only reason why Brave Man survived and was able to return to the tribe was that he became the 'messenger' of the Metal Sword Tribe's message. The message was that the Waterside Tribe should surrender and become the slaves of the Metal Sword Tribe. If not, the Metal Sword Tribe will use their mages to force them to surrender

Now that people from the Metal Sword Tribe suddenly appeared at the doorsteps of the Waterside Tribe, it was no wonder that Brave Man exploded like this. If it was him, he wants to massacre the entirety of the Metal Sword Tribe. Sadly, he doesn't have the capability to do so

"Hmph, don't you know who I am? I am a friend of Collosam, one of the twin genius of our tribe that reaches the realm of Junior Rank at the age of twenty-eight! How dare you act like this in front of me?!"

The 'delegations' or more like unwanted guests from the Metal Sword Tribe consist of five people and all of them are only apprentice mages yet the one at the very front seems like the leader was acting as if he was the King of the world

It seems like the pride and arrogance of the Metal Sword Tribe have soared and reached the skies after they obtained two Junior Mages at once. Even an apprentice mage has the guts to act this arrogant even though the other side has Junior Mages

"Kill! Kill him! Kill him! I will kill you!" Brave Man continued to shout as he aggressively tried to break free from the hands holding him back

"Fortunately, I asked the tribesmen to not provoke the Metal Sword Tribe and if necessary, act meekly as long as the other tribes still hasn't officially joined hands" Rezen thought with a sigh while thanking his foresight

Since the Waterside Tribe is on the losing end, they cannot provoke the enemies. If not, their enemies might launch an attack faster than they expected

Rezen used two days to sow discord between the Metal Sword Tribe and the other nearby tribes. While they still hasn't formally joined hands to destroy the vile tribe that killed their people, it definitely wouldn't be long before that happens

In the meantime, the Waterside Tribe has to make sure that they wouldn't do anything for the enemies to decide on attacking them today

What Brave Man was doing is harmful, perhaps the name Foolish Man suits him better

"We don't care who you are!"

"Get out of here!"

"You are not welcome!"

"Do you want to taste my fist?!"

"Fuck off!"

Unfortunately, Rezen seems to have underestimated the foolishness of the other tribesman. While they didn't attack the 'delegates' physically or more like magically, they still threw out harsh words towards them

At that, Rezen facepalmed himself. "What did I even expect from these brutes"

He has been adapting with the tribesmen fairly well and since everyone was kind to him except a certain someone, it seems like he forgot the personality of tribal people

They are very hot-headed! Their first choice to solve problems is to fight or kill!

Rezen suspects that if not for the Chief that is smarter than the others, the 'meeting' from two days before wouldn't happen and these brutes would just resist the enemies blindly

He also suspects that this tribe only survived until now all because the Chief is smarter than most people!

"Y-you...!" The leader of the five was flabbergasted. It was as if he didn't expect that the people of Waterside Tribe would act this harshly towards him even though his tribe has committed an unforgivable act first

Really, people's hypocrisy knows no bounds
