Chapter 172: Body reconstruction and soul restoration

"This feeling... maybe something really did happen when I was reincarnating, normally I wouldn't have ended up in such sore straits." Yun Jhin thought.

"Did I encounter a powerhouse above the God Realm in my soul form?" Yun Jhin couldn't really fathom the thoughts of those that ascended beyond the God Realm. After they reached true immortality what were they doing?

What were their thoughts when they did what they did to him? Were there factions even up there?

It seemed that way.

This system ability of his must have been given to him by the guy who opposed the one that reincarnated him as a caterpillar, now that its job had been done it was retracted back to the one who gifted it to him.

Yun Jhin was unconscious back then and he couldn't know who it was but he knew that things weren't as good as they looked on the surface... only those ruthless and very scheming persons would be able to ascend above the God Realm, so he had been schemed against successfully, back then he didn't really care where the system was from due to obvious reasons, even if he did he couldn't do anything about it, even at this point even if he became paranoid of who gave him the system it still wouldn't help him by much.

Yun Jhin sighed, it seemed no matter what he would do he wouldn't be able to escape conflict when it came to reaching the realm above the God one. If he asked himself he was a man who wanted peace for himself but considering the living conditions in the cultivation martial world all he could do to ensure his peacefulness was murder, thieve, and burn down whoever stood in his path of reaching true godhood.

He looked at his new carcass and gave it a few more finishing touches before just letting the energy he stored to enter it.

Now came the tricky parts, fusing the bloodlines to not let them attack each other just as he did back in hell, due to the body being inactive at this moment the bloodlines laid dormant, one in the left and one in the right part of the bodies, now that the system left him the storage of blood also disappeared, he couldn't draw it out from thin air anymore just as he did before. So if he failed the creation of his body he wouldn't be able to create another. So he would have to be extra careful in this situation!

His soul was back at 100% capacity, it healed nicely with the devouring of the elves natural soul powers, he almost wanted to create a herd of elves that he would slaughter for medicinal efforts now that he found out how good their flesh blood, and souls at healing.

Wait a minute... Could Yuan Fang be doing the same thing? But what would he need so many elves for? Only a large scale war would make him afford such a huge expenditure but a war for what?

Could he have found the way to reach the stage above the God Realm? Would he go to war with the celestial realm or hell?

Yun Jhin could feel his head hurt again in premonition meaning that his guesses were mostly right, as cultivators gained higher and higher cultivation bases they would gain a type of foresight which was activated automatically when they thought about certain things, but this could be blocked if the target they thought about didn't want to leak those things...

Yun Jhin frowned, did that mean Yuan Fang needed his help? Or why would he let him know?

While Yun Jhin was contemplating whether Yuan Fang was laying down a trap for him or not, the person in question was inside the heart of the mother tree, there below him kneeled an old woman with her back bent so hard that it looked like it would break, her skin was green and it had the texture of wood, cracks were coming along her skin and her hair which was blonde with beautiful flowers in it was quickly turning yellow then brown at a quick speed as she coughed some green substance from her mouth.

Her beautiful blue eyes were currently turning red as her pupils disappeared, it seemed she was really angered as she glared at Yuan Fang's form.

"What is it, you old crone? You didn't want to reunite with your husband so I just helped you!"

"Don't you like the taste of the poison I concocted from researching his core?"

"You damned junior, you don't know what you are doing, if both I and the father tree die at the same time there would be a catastrophic change coming to the universe!"

"Oh, you think I don't know?"

Yuan Fang put his palm over his face as he started laughing, suddenly the monkey tailed man and the blonde-haired man with long spiky hair appeared near him as they kneeled in unison, if a chuuni fan would see him right now they would mutter under their breath 'so cool'.

"Of course I know, don't you think I have done my research before I have done this? This catastrophic change is what I'm after!"

"Don't tell me, you really are thinking to ascend that way!"

Her eyes widened as she coughed another mouthful of green blood which fell to the ground in front of her which was the core of her main body, the poison started to sizzle which hurt her double the amount.

"Ok that was enough talking, I know you are trying to recover so you could skewer me with those wood thorns below us, boys dispatch of her immediately but let her core be whole as I need it."

The duo nodded at him before they got up from the ground, spikes appeared where Yuan Fang previously stood as his figure flickered and disappeared as if he was never there, the duo looked at each other before they dashed at the old crone's unmoving body in unison, with a mighty have they punched her in the gut at the same time!

Yun Jhin could feel the whole planet shake as he almost lost his footing in the underground cave, even his soul was shaken by the earthquake that was going right now, and this showed that it wasn't any normal earthquake!

"They are already making their move?"

Yun Jhin was almost done with the fusion between bloodlines and he could inhibit the body.

His soul quickly entered the shell as it gained his features, he donned on the special clothes that he kept in his personal spatial dimension as a spare as he felt that this new body of his was quickly fusing with his soul.

It fit him like a glove, since he made the body personally it was even better than the one that he was born in, it was literally molded for his soul!

The fusion was almost instant as his cultivation appeared in his body circulating into it slowly filling it until it reached the 3rd stage of the sage realm and stopped there, his avatar was reconstructed accordingly as it left his body to appear then Yun Jhin breathed some energy into it before refusing with it.

Even though he lost the progress he made in hell due to Hell's willpower, at least he didn't lose his life. That's how he was consoling himself, if he could he would go back in Hell and show it who is boss, but now that he was so weak all he could do was keep his tail tugged between his legs and bark nicely if someone stronger than him decided he was an eyesore.

It seemed he was rather wrong with his assumption, while Yuan Fang did come with the father's core to the planet it seemed it wasn't used for the elves to increase their healing capabilities, maybe he wasn't completely wrong but he guessed this wasn't the main reason, mostly just a side one.

"Now that I'm healed I can get the hell out of here, even though my appearance differs and I changed the living aura of this body to not match what they knew about me who knows if Yuan Fang can see through me or not?"

Yun Jhin's paranoia was in full-blown effect, unless he was at the God Realm he didn't want to meet Yuan Fang face to face.

But sometimes things wouldn't go as you wanted no matter how you prayed or what you did...

Yuan Fang materialized in front of him, his azure hair billowing as his aura was in full-blown power, he looked directly at Yun Jhin as he chuckled and said:

"Thought you could escape my senses didn't you? I have been searching for you for a long while Yun Jhin."

He disappeared as he appeared in front of Yun Jhin and looked into his eyes, Yun Jhin found it strange but he didn't find any hatred nor anger in his gaze as he looked at him... it looked more as if he was reminiscing about something as his gaze moved across his whole body scanning it.

"Do you remember when you cut my head off back then?"

His tone didn't make it look like Yun Jhin was the one who dealt him the death blow in his previous life, it was just like they were two friends talking about their past jokes and dumb actions.

Yun Jhin scanned Yuan Fang back but he couldn't really tell what his cultivation was... Yuan Fang chuckled as he revealed his cultivation fully, he was a little bit stronger than Yun Jhin standing at the peak of the sage realm and moving towards the God Realm, he was basically a half-god at the moment.

"So was I right? You need my help?"

Yuan Fang chuckled as he shook his head, he patted Yun Jhin's chest he put his finger on his chin with his other hand, and said:

"No but I found you quite interesting, normally speaking a soul wouldn't be able to endure so many reincarnations or it would become crazy and explode due to the extreme amount of different wills from previous lives trying to take control of the main control core, how did you not suffer from this? Even I have a hard time controlling the other part of me."
