Chapter 114 Life's High Tide
He used [Life Vision]
The immediate information was a whole lot messy, so he connected the dots and removed the details that were currently unnecessary.
[Current Cultivation: Evolution Stage]
[Body: Below Average Evolved Physique]
[Skin Building Completed—Tempered Skin]
Nodding to himself, he smiled.
His [Body] had gone from Top-tier Mortal Physique to [Below Average Evolved Physique]. Even for the Transformation Path cultivators, the body doesn't grow much special in the Awakened Stage.
Similar to him, they had barely begun to Awaken their Sparks at that point, and their bodies were usually just mortal tier after eating the basic Magical Resources he had eaten in the past.
Rarely anyone even had Top-Tier Mortal Physiques among them, too.
So, an Awakened Level Physique was a non-existent concept. They were still mere mortals with just 100 years or so lifespan, after all, and their bodies weren't really anything better than Top-Tier Mortal physiques.
Even if they were, in fact, Transformation Path Awakened. So after Mortal, it was Evolved Physiques of the Transformation Path Cultivators that was everyone's one aim when it came to strengthening bodies.
And his body was just about at that level. How?
Even though it was just the Skin that had become similar to that of the once supreme Sacred Demon, it was not as simple as that.
Previously, his body always instinctually wouldn't use the full power it could honestly deliver. How could it let him when it knew he was about to punch a metal wall? Won't that just hurt himself? So now that his skin was so strong, a lot of such limits were gone, and his body as a whole could be said to be stronger. It was quite the same throughout the refinement from 1% to 99%, but when it reached 100% completion, that changed.
In a sense, every part of the body complimented other parts.
His mom was looking at him curiously, but he didn't give heed to her curiosity for now and, instead, used a little bit of his power to punch the nearby wall. It trembled, and small cracks appeared all around it.
If he had used all his strength, it would have had a great level of cracks in it.
And he was not even at the level where normal Evolved of the Transformation Path were.
"Wow, Xiao Li, but don't actually break the house using all your strength," Yue Li glared at him as she caressed the cracks disapprovingly. "That was not nearly my full strength," Han Li patted his mom's butt while saying mysteriously.
Yue Li asked, "But isn't having all that strength quite dangerous to us? What if you hurt us unknowingly?"
Han Li smiled. "Don't worry, that is not an issue. You will understand it when you reach my level."
Yue Li closed her eyes and focused her senses on his hands. He was gently squeezing her butt while talking about those serious stuff; he seemed to be in a really good mood.
Otherwise, he was so stiff when it came to her training. This was a first.
She would have usually tried to take advantage of the moment to make him let her have a lick or two, but no, she just silently let him do whatever he wanted, and he just silently squeezed her butt for a while.
Her butt was quite petite and very nice to hold. He moved to stand exactly behind her and gently wrapped her hand around her waist.
"Mom, I am quite happy today."
His red eyes shone as he opened them. There was no difference to the Dao Soul or his actual organs yet, but the initial transformation was always painful.
His mother looked up at his pained expression and her heart clenched.
He held on it for quite a long while but lost consciosness in the end. It not only changed the fundamental structure of the Dao Soul, his organs had also subtly changed. And the change will be completed to emulate the Sacred Demon's organs when it reaches completion.
After some half an hour, he woke up groggily to find his head resting on his mother's lap. She was gently caressing his head while laying on her back without a care.
He blinked.
And then breathed out heavily.
In the deepest of his heart, he could feel something stirring. Heart Qi. It was even weaker than Level 1 Heart Qi that Transcendants had, but it was still Heart Qi. It had countless uses.
A power that only Transcendants have. With a shining gaze, he looked at his mom.
She looked back at him. "You woke up, Xiao Li, I was worried, you know?"
Han Li shifted to the side and kissed her stomach. Then just comfortably lied like that for a long while.
Then, he looked at her.
"Mom, let's do it."
She gulped.
He sat up on the bed and took her hand into his.
Then, with a smile, moved his Heart Qi to connect with hers.
"Before I do what I promised, let's do something else. Let us bind our Hearts together."
"You told we needed some powerful people to do that?"
Han Li shook his head and gently connected his heart to hers.
"If we do this, I can leave a mark on you and it will be very easy for me to see you even from long distances. Even though not much as of now."
Yue Li was curious, so she nodded.
"Mom, I vow to be your filial son this entire life." It was a very simple vow.
Yue Li looked at him, she could feel an airy sensation in her heart. With a smile, she replied, "I vow to be your loving mother this entire life, the woman you can call home."
Having Heart Qi now, Han Li could feel a small mark of Heart Qi appear on his mother and himself. In his case, there were two marks.
One was the vow he had accepted with Yang Wei, one was this.
And in his senses, Yue Li was extremely clear. This was the use of loosely used vows, if it was something very limited by hundreds of conditions like the one with Yang Wei, they couldn't sense each other like this.
"Mom, let's finally do it."
