Ryan gently put his index finger over Lux's right eye, making the magic circle appear again. The girl was unconscious, and even with her eyes closed, the circle with a triangle in the center appeared. The magic kept spinning, emitting small pulses of mana every one second.

Charging his demonic energy, he was pouring a boost into the magic. 

"That doesn't seem to be working very well" he said, as he watched carefully at Lux's face. But as the amount of demon energy sent out increased, the smaller the magic circle got.

After several minutes, the magic broke like glass. Soon after, Lux slowly opened her eyes confused by what was happening. 

"I felt such a strange pain" she said as she tried to stand up.

"Stay at rest" Ryan said as he ran his hand down the girl's back and positioned her back on the bed.

Nyx had a visibly worried face, holding her sister's hands she said "Try to get some rest, then we'll check to see if the magic really was nullified". Then the two of them left the room, with thoughtful faces and uncomfortable looks on their faces.

*Closing door*

"The guardian's suggestion really worked" Ryan didn't know if this was a sign of confidence or a challenge, until then, the position of the two guardians was neither favorable nor unfavorable to him. This excess of neutrality was bothering him.

The succubus was swinging her legs up as she sank her head into a pillow, lifting her face she stared at Ryan and denied with her head. "I don't know, but if they can alter and send notifications, that means they have some privilege. I only had access to your demon system because you gave me that option, other than that being inside your mind makes things a little easier. The access to the demonic system came by making a pact with me, since I no longer have his privileges."

"You could use a system?"

Nyx nodded, "Formerly yes, in the second world we talked about the gods who manage the worlds controlling the system. If these guardians are gods, who knows what that could mean?"

Ryan's face was visibly bothered, watching his cell phone, he started going through the pictures he had taken in the library with Livia.

"Did any of those books seem to comment on that?" 

"I didn't see anything special, I find it difficult that books in common demon languages would have any useful information. As I had talked about, demons protect their information through different dialects and languages."

"This is going to be a little more complex than I thought"

As the moon rose into the sky that night, Lyza, Rose and Olivia appeared in the apartment. After a few minutes, Alice and Sara joined them for conversation and dinner. 

"You seem restless, is everything okay?" The blonde commented, as she stared into Ryan's eyes.

"Yeah! You look -hmm thoughtgul" Sara said.

In response, he just shook his head "I'm overthinking it, that's all"

'I can't understand what is going on, if the two guardians have no connection to the system, how can they manage it. They could control the weather and even had followers, what do these portals mean... And what did those shiny creatures want with me..."

While Ryan and the girls were focused talking and eating, a shadow appeared walking through the door that led into the room. With long black hair and wings that remained fixed on her back, that girl scratched her eyes as if she was still sleepy.

Sara stood up startled, looking back "What's that?!" she shouted. 

"Did you get another servant?" Lyza questioned, glaring at Ryan.

But Nyx took the initiative, getting up and running towards Lux. Taking her by the hand, she brought the girl close "This is my sister, she's an angel."

Lyza and Rose exchanged confused glances

"Ara- an angel" Said the nurse, as she looked at the girl from head to toe.

"That floating, is that what I'm thinking?" the redhead said, surprised.

"Good morning, I mean, hello everyone. My name is Lux and I'm a follower of the light path.

When her eyes finally opened wide, a beautiful blue light emitted from her pupils. The beautiful white wings she had on her back were reflecting a serene light as calm as the moon, while the halo on her head glowed a golden color that emanated the sanctified energy she possessed.

The redhead pulled Ryan by the arm and placed one of her hands on his ear, hiding what she was talking about as she whispered to him "If you do this girl any harm, we are going to have a very serious talk."

"What kind of vision do you have of me?" he replied loudly, startled. Lyza gave a relatively loud laugh and speaking in her master's ear, she said slowly "I just know that you will deflower her"

Among the people in the room, the only one who heard what Lyza said was Nyx. The succubus blushed at the speech, and with an obscene smile she looked at her own sister.

The succubus continued laughing, while Lux looked at her in confusion. "Did I do something wrong?" she said, in a tone of purity that was blinding to Ryan's eyes that had been thinking obscenities.

Everyone at the table shook their heads. And with a curious look, Sara approached the angel "Are your wings for real?" she asked.

Lux shook his head, "They are a blessing I received from the goddess of light" 

At the same instant, Nyx and Ryan exchanged glances. The red eyes of both shone with that speech, and in that exchange of glances it was evident how they had both thought the same thing.

'She knows more than both of us.

The succubus had a smug smile on her face, proud for no apparent reason. For the next few minutes, Sara and Lux stood playing together, showing how the wings and halo work. Meanwhile, Alice and Rose were in the kitchen tidying up.

Ryan and Nyx were sitting on the couch, talking mentally.

'I'll get in touch with Livia, she said she couldn't come here today'

<I didn't think taking care of books was so much work>

'Yeah, and she's still a student prodigy. She only has the librarian job to improve her student scores>'

'Maybe books about second world legends can help us with that question'

Ryan thought, as he pointed with his head in Lux's direction.

'Hehehehe! So your feathers emit light too!" Sara said, as she held up one of the feathers that Lux had removed from his wings.

At the same moment he thought that, the angel's demeanor changed, she stood static in place as she turned and looked towards the two of them.

<'I want to take care of her, she is my only family>

'That we will do, I am speaking in relation to the goddess of light and the guardian of life'

<So far they only took action when we were at the portal, maybe they don't have that much influence here.>

The angel was watching the two of them intently, but now, she seemed a little more relieved. Sara kept asking questions, but she was answering as if she wasn't paying attention.

'I wanted to know who the goddess of light is' Ryan said, as he sighed disappointed.

The human and the succubus exchanged startled glances, as they turned to Lux.

In Ryan's head, one thought was screaming in his mind. With all his might, he was incredulous at how kind, respectful, polite, and pure Lux could be. But even with this behavior, he was still a little afraid whether or not he could trust this girl. 

As the girls began to say goodbye and leave Ryan's apartment, the three of them gathered in the living room. Sitting down and exchanging glances, he stood up and said to the two sisters, "The three of us need to talk."
