Evelyn immediately noticed that a message had arrived on her phone.
She quickly opened it, then read it.
After which, she looked at David and Jasmine, laughing faintly.
Without looking at her phone screen, she typed a reply to the message.
(How can you go crazy when talking to a beautiful woman? Isn't that what you like the most?)
Whether she was joking or mocking him for his predicament, David couldn't tell.
Somewhat annoyed, he replied: (This woman might be in love with me, if you can't get her to leave me, I'll spend the night with her.)
Just a moment after he sent that message, Evelyn's expression instantly changed.
For a moment, it looked like some naughty guy had smacked her butt, confusing the ladies beside her.
After which, she finally walked over to the table David was at.
Jasmine quickly noticed Evelyn's arrival. She knitted her brows, somehow looking worried when she saw her.
"Jasmine," Evelyn said, calling her name directly.
"Why?" Jasmine responded immediately.
She seemed to be trying to show her some courage.
"Go back to your room and don't wander around anymore. If anything happens, we can't handle the mess," Evelyn replied in a cold tone while David was confused as he had no idea what Evelyn was talking about.
"Nothing will happen. I came out because I was confident that everything would be fine," Jasmine replied.
"Even if you are sure, you still shouldn't come out."
"Why are you suddenly reprimanding me? You were silent before. The others didn't mind either." As Evelyn continued to press her in the conversation, Jasmine began to raise her voice.
People looked at each other with strange expressions.
Of course, all of them except David understood what they were talking about. However, they felt that Evelyn did not need to force Jasmine back to her room.
The woman also needed to be given some time to roam around.
What was strange of course was why Evelyn would suddenly ask for that.
David was getting confused.
He felt that this could cause unnecessary conflict.
This was certainly not what Evelyn wanted as she expected them to be busy with the party.
However, she couldn't argue with this opinion.
Fortunately, the woman did not run out of ideas.
She suddenly pretended to have a headache, telling her friends that she needed to take a break soon.
After that, she entered the mansion again.
Her friends were disappointed that she left, but it didn't change the course of the party as many of the partygoers were not so close to her.
David's presence at the end of the beach was not noticed by anyone. Or maybe they were pretending not to notice him.
Even Enzo seemed quiet tonight. Not only was he not trying to get close to Evelyn, he wasn't trying to target David either.
DING!
David's cell phone rang, signaling an incoming message.
(Come to my room!)
It was from Evelyn.
David smiled slightly as he looked at the message.
He then stood up and walked towards the mansion again.
The important thing now was to move Arthur and then he and Evelyn could finally make love.
Only, since Enzo happened to be in front of the mansion's terrace, David could not help but pass by him.
Too close to him, Enzo naturally noticed him.
"Where do you want to go?" The man apparently asked him the question in his cold tone.
"To sleep," David replied indifferently.
He naturally didn't care about the man he had defeated.
"Hmph!" The man snorted. "A guest shouldn't sleep when all the hosts are still outside."
He was apparently giving her sarcasm.
This was something she had expected since she started talking to him.
To keep him from continuing to say nonsense, he chose not to respond, continuing to walk with an unconcerned expression.
Perhaps if he knew what his true intentions were, his head would explode on its own or it would turn into a green hat.
