Helia, too, found herself enveloped in the thick fog, but she clutched onto the treasure map tightly, using it as her guide to reach her destination.
She marched on, her steps decisive until she came across a garden. The white statues of angels with splendid wings stood before her, making her heart skip a beat. The fountain in the distance caught her eye, and she started walking toward it.
The garden was shrouded in serenity and the sound of the gentle trickle of water from the fountain. The trees that surrounded the perimeter of the garden were tall and lush, their branches extending toward the sky like outstretched crowns.
As Helia observed her surroundings, she realized that she had emerged from the same place where the lone tree stood. However, the scenery had changed drastically after she entered this place - where there was once only cold water, there were now towering trees that encircled her like a protective embrace. It was as if she had stepped into a magical world, one that defied the laws of nature.
As Helia tried to make sense of her surroundings, she suddenly felt a gentle breeze rustle her hair. At the same time, a voice that she had yearned to hear for years filled her mind, making her eyes become moist instantly.
"Hello, my little fairy... I have been waiting for you," said the voice with a loving tone, and the girl knew who it was.
"Big Brother..." Helia's voice wavered with emotion as she tried to look around for the source of the voice.
Leon said tenderly "Don't cry, my dear sister,"
Helia's eyes widened as she felt a sudden, but gentle embrace, as if someone had wrapped their arms around her. Though she couldn't see anyone, she was familiar with the sensation, the warmth, the very essence of the hug. It was her big brother's embrace, one that she had felt so many times before in her childhood.
A wave of happiness and comfort drowned her as she closed her eyes and savored the moment. She felt her body relax, her pores and every cell tingling with the sensation of true bliss.
Tears started streaking down her cheeks as she finally reunited with the soul of her beloved big brother, whom she had missed dearly for so long. The embrace was medicine to her soul, satisfying her yearning for her big brother.
Tears kept streaming down Helia's face as she spoke to her big brother.
Her voice trembled with sadness as she cried out, "Big brother, I missed you so much... why did you leave without me?" She felt a comforting hand ruffling her blonde hair, but she was not able to see him as it was just his soul. Despite not being able to see him, the presence of her beloved brother's soul was euphoric to her heart.
"I've missed you too, my dear sister. But we can't dwell on that now. We have very little time," he said, his voice heavy with concern. He knew that he had to bring her back to reality, even if it was painful.
Helia could sense her older brother's worry and love, even in the midst of this strange and unsettling place.
"I know why you have come here, so let me tell you a secret, a secret that cost me my life," Leon said in a mysterious tone, causing the blonde-haired beauty to listen carefully.
Although she longed for her big brother but she also knew they didn't have much time and her brother wanted her to know the truth about his death.
In a narrative tone, Leon started speaking, "It all started with The Celestial Eye Clan. It was once the ruling clan of the Shamor Empire, with power over all the corrupted lands, including the underground world and seas.
It consisted of two loyal clans: the Devlin and Cliffdane clans, who are also the current and previous royal families respectively as most people know. These two clans had always been devoted to the Celestial Eye Clan and had done everything in their power to serve their master.
Thanks to the Celestial Eye Clan, both clans prospered and expanded. When the Celestial Eye Matriarch ascended to godhood, she bestowed the power of visions upon the Devlin clan and granted strength to the Cliffdane clan.
However, the Matriarch eventually left to handle other worlds that she had to manage as the new Goddess, and the Devlin clan followed her as devoted followers, while the Cliffdane clan stayed behind to take care of the Shamor Empire.
But instead of continuing to serve the Celestial Eye Clan, the Cliffdane clan betrayed them and plotted to take over the world.
After the Matriarch had left, the Cliffdane clan launched a conspiracy that ultimately destroyed the entire Celestial Eye Clan by using the powers they had gained from the Matriarch herself and secretly assassinating the powerhouses of the Celestial Eye Clan.
Later, the Cliffdane clan began worshipping an evil god and turned to merciless killings for sacrificial rituals.
The Matriarch was helpless as she wasn't allowed to personally interfere in the business of mortals. However, she decided to take action by sending her young son, Ayan Celestial Eye, and the old man of the Devlin family, who also happened to be our grandfather, to take control of the situation and restore order to the world.
Upon arriving in the Shamor Empire, the heir of the Celestial Eye clan and our grandfather fought the Cliffdane clan alone.
Despite his prowess in battle and defeating the enemy, Ayan Celestial Eye had no interest in becoming Emperor and instead made the decision to appoint our grandfather as the new ruler of the Shamor Empire and entrusted him to handle matters.
Although Ayan Celestial Eye disappeared, the Cliffdane clan was not completely eradicated, as he was a kind and merciful person to not kill everyone in the enemy clan."
