Yao Ran looked at the others and replied, "We are ready to go."

"Good. We will leave right after refueling." Long Yu said.

"Alright. Be careful on your way home." Yao Ran reminded him.

"Mhm, I know." With that, Long Yu hung up.

After putting away the phone, Yao Ran said, "Everyone, we should head down now."

When the members of the Sima and Quan families heard this, they became anxious yet hopeful.

Noticing their anxiety and the hope in their eyes, Yao Ran added, "A Yu and the others will arrive in five minutes. We shouldn't delay any longer."

Realizing it was time to leave, everyone picked up their backpacks and followed Yao Ran to the underground parking lot.

Once there, Yao Ran arranged for Grandpa and Grandma Quan to sit on the bus with the Sima family members. Since Sima Hao would be driving the bus, this arrangement would make them feel more comfortable.

After the elders had gotten into the bus, Yao Ran and the others heard the sound of vehicles approaching. Soon, two trucks and an SUV drove into the underground parking lot, filled with boxes of supplies.

Seated inside the bus, Grandpa Quan whispered to his wife, "These young people are really competent. Fortunately, our grandson has skills and can befriend them. Otherwise, we wouldn't have this good treatment."

Seeing that Long Yu didn't mind, Yao Ran looked back at the map.

As they drove out of the gate, the other survivors heard the noise and rushed to their balconies to see what was happening. When they saw Long Yu and the others leaving, they cursed at Old Han for leaving them behind and ran downstairs in a panic.

Unfortunately, by the time they reached the ground floor, Long Yu and his group had already driven far away. Realizing they had no chance of catching up, they broke down and cried in despair.

body."

As she sipped the watermelon juice, Yao Ran asked, "Where are we heading?"

"There is a resort thirty kilometers from the Juncheng Military Base. I plan to stay there until

the base's first phase of construction is completed." Long Yu explained.

Initially, Long Yu planned to go straight to Juncheng Military Base. However, after Li

Tianyu's advice, he changed his mind and chose the resort area instead.

Having only been in Juncheng City for a few months, Yao Ran was unfamiliar with the resort Long Yu mentioned. Feeling curious, she asked, "Why did you choose that place?"

Long Yu replied, "In the fifth year after the end of the world, the Juncheng Military Base expanded several times. After the final expansion, this resort was just five kilometers away from the base. Although the base didn't take over the resort, it included it within its protection area."
