Chapter 23 - I could predict the future

"I presumed your subordinate already informed you of my case." Ronglou smiled behind her veil.

"Yes. I commend you for having the guts to deceive the Imperial Family. If I where you, I wouldn't have the courage." Jiazu said.

"Probably not the Imperial Family, but you will sooner or later." Ronglou took a sit from one of the bench.

"What do you mean?" Jaizu asked as he looked at her.

"Tell me, have you confessed to her yet?" She asked back.

"I.. I.." Jaizu sighed.

"I have, but she rejected me. Saying that she is getting married and that we aren't meant to be together. She told me to stay away from her.

We were lovers first! Until her father decided to accepted that bastard's wedding proposal!" Jiazu clenched his teeth.

"Getting married?" Ronglou's brows furrowed.

"Yes, she is getting next spring." Jiazu sighed.

Now this is interesting. The one she remembered was that, the woman was already married. Well to her defence, she wasn't up to date on gossips. Since this is the case, everything should be fine then!

Ronglou took out a paper that she had previously prepared when she was travelling and handed it to Jiazu.

"What's this?" He asked, as he opened the paper.

"I know how you hated this City and its turmoils. Go there, bring your lover and never return. I guarantee you that no one will ever find you there and that you will live happily ever after with two beautiful children." Ronglou said.

"What? How? How could you easily say that? How would you know the outcome?" Jiazu was shocked. The paper in his hand was actually a map. If he remembered correctly, it was at the borders of Xu Kingdom and Qian Kingdom.

"You could say that I could predict the future. After all, I was born with an auspicious sign." Ronglou shrugged and stood up.

"As long as you vowed to the heavens, to only love her with all of you life. Then it is settled. It would be up to you to believe me or not, but then again. How would you explain something what I knew of, when it is something that you have hidden deep inside your heart?" Ronglou smirked and left the Jiazu to his own thoughts.

The idea hit her just now, with her knowledge and memories. She could easily gain a footing in this world. She won't have to rely to anyone else, but herself. Ronglou smiled innocently as if she wasn't thinking of conning some aristocrats, noble families and even the Imperial Family.

This was really amazing ah! She could make money out of it! She had never worked for money before, This just might becoming addicting! Ronglou giggled as she walked out of the garden.

When Huangyu saw her walking towards her, she suddenly felt a chill on her spine. Ever since her Miss left the Yu Residence, she felt that her Miss was extremely different from before. But for some odd reason, she didn't hated it! She actually liked to see more emotions on her Miss' face than her regular stoic and fake smiles.

Ronglou nodded to Huangyu and Huangyu did the same.

"Miss, they got us a room. I have already prepared a bath for you." Huangyu always was ahead of her Miss, she knew exactly what her Miss' needs.

"En. Lead the way." Ronglou then followed Huangyu to their reserved rooms.
