Chapter 26 - No matter where you go, I'll always find you.

Fengxin stood straight near the pond, inside his garden in the Feng Palace.

The Feng Palace is where the Crown Prince Xu Fengxin resides. This Palace was full of expensive and intricate decors, as well as rare plants from all over the land. It was either gift from his parents or anyone who wanted to build connections to him. Fengxin was always doted upon. He was very smart and talented. Despite being 17 years old, He had all the support of everyone. This only shows how capable he was, especially that he is the one next in line to the throne.

What made him frustrated this days, was the leads to the missing Eldest Miss of the Yu Family. They were all dead ends. As if she just disappeared out of thin air, something he could never understand. He could only think of one more option to locate her and it involves talking to the Heavenly Law Protector.

The Heavenly Law Protector has always been a special identity to the Imperial Palace. He had been serving the Imperial Family since the previous Emperor. Despite this, his appearance remained the same. His face and body looked like someone in their 20's. Having this mystical appearance, no one dares to cross with him. Even the Emperor had to give him some face. His father the Emperor once said to never aggravate the Heavenly Law Protector, it was said that it wasn't worth doing so. He guessed that his father saw the Heavenly Law Protector had gotten furious before and that it scared even the Emperor. Fengxin had never seen the Heavenly Law Protector in that light. He always had a radiant face and a calm demeanor.

Why he wanted to speak to him, is because of his mystical divinity. There was no other who could surpass the Heavenly Law Protector's divinity. Ever since Ronglou's birth, the Heavenly Law Protector had been watching her star in the sky. If she ever went missing, the Heavenly Law Protector would be able to find her. Problem is, the Heavenly Law Protector left a month ago. For where and what reason, no one knows. Not even the Emperor. The Heavenly Law Protector always had a free access, he would sometimes be gone for months and return safely. When the Emperor asks, the Heavenly Law Protector would only say: "One must not divulge the heavenly secrets." If not for the late Emperor's word that the Heavenly Law Protector was not their enemy, they would all think differently.

No matter what, he needed to find her. Not because of his Father's orders but because something was making him do so. He had a feeling that he needs to find her, no matter what the cost. This was something that puzzles him the most.

Fengxin had never cared for his fiancée before. He always acted cold and neutral. He wasn't rude to her or anything, just not interested. Fengxin had to admit that she was indeed the most beautiful and talented woman that he had ever seen, but she had never caught his heart. He always hated someone who wears a fake smile on their faces. His fiancée was one of them. She always had that trained smile on her face, despite anything that you throw at her. Ronglou would always be calm and graceful. Something that the future Crown Princess should acquire. This he understands but no matter what, he felt disgusted.

The only day that she caught his attention, was the day that she disappeared. Fengxin finally caught a slight view behind her graceful mask. He saw her gotten frustrated and furious with him. Though he could never understand why or if he had done something wrong.

"No matter where you go, I'll always find you." He murmured.

It was the first time that he got interested with his so called fiancée. Something that he actually look forward to. He wanted to tear that mask away from her face, even if it means to get under her skin.
