Chapter 25 - Had he ever served a man in..?

"Where is he?" Ronglou saw that the main hall was empty on their courtyard.

Jaizu had assigned them an empty courtyard for the time that they will be staying.

"He didn't come miss, since he wasn't acquainted with Jaizu. He said that he'll meet up with you in Red Lotus Restaurant. His servant said so and gave me this". Huangyu handed her a note.

'I am glad that you are safe. If that is what you wish, then I'll let you be. So long as you are happy. Please be safe in your journey and remember us always.

Don't worry about us here, I'll take care of everything.'

At the bottom of the note, it had a marking of a tiger. It was her father's insignia. Ronglou sighed and hugged it to her chest.

She loves her family so much, at the same time she was scared for them. It was better leaving far away than hiding too close to them. If the Emperor is really keen on marrying her to Fengxin, sooner or later he would catch up.

"Give this letter to Jaizu, after that we'll leave." Ronglou took out a letter from her sleeve and handed it to Huangyu. Huangyu left in a hurry, while she waited for her to return.

She didn't want to rest. Now that she was out from the Imperial City, she should always be on the road. She only wanted to take a bath before heading out again.

*giggles* "I know! I wonder if he is single? Should we go and ask?"

It was only one of the conversation they heard, out of many. Ronglou and Huangyu was right outside the restaurant.

"Miss, that should be him.. Wow, he really is a male." Huangyu was looking up at the second floor window.

Ronglou was looking up as well, a smile was on her face. Luckily, she was wearing a veil. "He really is too handsome. To be able to capture all this women and men here."

"Men?" Huangyu looked around and saw that some guys were indeed looking up to his window.

"Miss.. uhmm.. had he ever served a man in.. " Huangyu blushed before she could even finish her words.

"Hahaha. Shall we ask?" Ronglou laughed. She knew the answer already, but it was still funny to ask. She remembered asking him on her past life, he got extremely mad at her and even attempted to kiss her.

"Miss!" Huangyu pulled Ronglou's sleeves.

"Silly you. It's okay. Let's eat first." Ronglou smiled and walked inside the Restaurant. Huangyu could only follow.

"Hello maam, welcome to Red Lotus Restaurant. Do you have any reservations? If not, we can only offer the lobby table. We have a law that the second floor rooms required reservations ahead of time." The waiter said his usual line.

"En. I'm here meeting with Fung Yu." Ronglou looked at the waiter.

"Oh! Yes. Please, follow me!" The waiter brought them upstairs and guided them towards his room.

"Sir Fung, your guests had arrived." he announced.

"En, let them in." Said the voice from inside.

"Please." The waiter opened the door and let the two in. He bowed and left after.

"To be able to know my alias name, I really commend you Eldest Miss." Hongfe smiled at Ronglou.

"Call me Fei'er." Ronglou sat at the table next to him.

"Very well, Fei'er." Hongfe eyed Ronglou.

"En. Let's eat and go. My feet is itching to leave this place."

"Already? I thought you are supposed to wait for your third brother?"

"If I wait for that brother to show up, The Emperor would already found me. Yu'er sit and eat." Ronglou patted the chair next to her.

"Miss. I mustn't. I'm a servant, I cannot eat at the same table as the masters." Huangyu declined.

"Silly, you are my friend in this journey. Eat or else you will be eating dry food." Ronglou didn't even bother looking at Hongfe.

Huangyu hesitated but still followed her Miss. Hongfe didn't said a word and sip his tea. This Eldest Miss really was interesting. Nothing like the gossips that he had heard about her.
