Chapter 34 - How much could this girl eat?!

Zhou Sheng had been following this girl ever since he saw her. He was eating with his subordinates, up in the second floor of a restaurant. He saw her ate at every stall. He almost thought that she was following him, but it didn't seem like it. Even though she was wearing a veil, he could sense that she was delighted everytime she ate.

How much could this girl eat?! She had a petite and small body, where did all those food go? Seeing her move stall to stall, he decided to follow her and left his subordinates. His subordinates was used to this, their Master has always been unpredictable. They didn't see that the girl was here though, they were focused on their food like Ronglou.

Seeing her eat and eat, Zhou Sheng felt that the scene was cute and funny. When those thoughts came, he immediately shake his head. What kind of thinking was this? He only followed her since he was interested on why she knew him. Despite his thorough disguised, this girl knew his name and even calls him as her brother. It even sounded so intimate, like she was used to calling him that.

This puzzled him so much. He didn't knew that he would still be able to see her again. He decided to "accidentally" bumped into her, seeing that she finally finished eating. Hearing her words, it was indeed a small world.

"En." Although he decided to show himself, he didn't think what he would say. It seems like his words were stuck in his throat.

Ronglou smiled, she was used to him being like this. The blind man that saved her in her past life had short words or replies too. He was always cautious and hardly talks. Rather it was her that talked a lot. She did so, in order for him to talk to her. After spending two weeks with him, she was only able to get his real name and the reason why he was on that mountain. Who was he waiting for though? He didn't tell her nor the reason how he became blind.

"Do you want that trinket Brother Sheng?" Ronglou changed the topic. When they bumped into each other, they were near the trinket store.

Unconsciously, Zhou Sheng didn't know when he moved towards the trinket stall nor when he picked up the trinket. Looking at the thing on his hand, he actually picked up a girl's hair pin.

"That would look good on the girl beside you sir." The shopkeeper winked at Zhou Sheng and Ronglou. He had been a shopkeeper most of his life, he could read the vibe. The guy that was called Brother Sheng, his mind was preoccupied when she called his name. With this amount of hint, it was easy to predict what he should say in order to sell some or his wares.

Ronglou giggled while Zhou Sheng felt his face turning red. He instantly put it down, turned around and left.

Not letting him get away, Ronglou followed him. Huangyu on the other hand, could only follow them silently. She too was surprised to see the same man. Indeed, the world is small. If it's this small, it would only be a matter of time before the Imperial Family would catch up to them.

"What did you say?! She already left 5 days ago? Dammit!" Zhefan cursed out loud.

Jaizu shrugged and pulled out a letter from his sleeve. "She left this one for you. It might give you a clue on where she is heading?"

Zhefan took the letter and opened it.

"Third brother, I can't wait on you forever if you're this slow. It is as what elder brothers have told you, I left because I didn't want to marry the Crown Prince. I am heading east. If fate permits, we shall meet again in the future." There was a drawing of a lotus to signify Ronglou's identity.

Zhefan instantly burned the letter. There was a candle on Jaizu's office. He had arrived at night. He had been in the road ever since Ronglou disappeared. He had looked for her everywhere! Like what his younger sister had said to their Older Brothers, He had a sister complex. He doted on Ronglou more than anyone. Although they were 3 years apart, he was the one who took care of her the most.

"Lulu, why didn't you waited on this brother? I would've done everything for you to escape a much safer way." Zhefan sighed.

He hated that he didn't saw her. It gave him a fright when he heard that she was kidnapped! He was more devastated than his father! He lead his own troops to find her! Only when he heard that his older brothers came back, did he went back home. He wanted to ask his brother's help to find her. But when he got home, his father and older brothers had told him about the truth. He wasn't even able to greet his mother, when he was back in the road again. Still, he was too late. He decided to stay for the night and head east the next day.

"No matter what, this brother will find you lulu! Wait for this brother!" He murmured before he fell asleep.
