Han didn’t know what was happening outside because he only had eyes for what was waiting in front of him. He passed a few servants on the way who all screamed in fright once they saw who it was but Han ignored them. He used his [Almighty Overseer] to search for where the throne room would be and he managed to find it and turned towards it quickly! Han got to the room and threw the door open!
Once he got inside a voice immediately began to speak.
“Ah, King Han. I see you finally made it to my kingdom. Truly, I’ve waited a long time to meet with you,”NewW novels updates at novelhall.com
Han stopped in his tracks as someone suddenly spoke up from the throne. The man was tall and built with muscles all over his body. Han looked at his right hand and he saw that this man is also a black star. Han continued walking forward and the man on the throne suddenly gulped as he gave s shaky smile.
“K-King Han. I think we should take some time and talk things through. I believe you had a long journey and you wish to rest. Let me call a maid who can serve you and -Grk!!”
Bam!!
The man was cut short as Han grabbed him by the throat before slamming his head back into the seat of the throne! The maid that was in the room with them jumped in fright before scurrying away once Han looked at her. Han stared down at the ‘king’ with red eyes that promised death.
“I just woke up and found out that the king was gone! It almost caused a big issue with the council when they didn’t receive the usual message from the king that they always receive. So I took it upon myself to stand in for him. The outer ring and most of the people in the inner ring don’t know that the king is gone because I’m still performing his duties. But I don’t know how long I can keep them in the dark!”
Han could see the amount of fatigue on Harberds face and Han was glad he didn’t have to do things like this all the time. With Quinthreath and Gregory to help out, Han doesn’t ever feel the weight of being a king pressing him down too much! But this man has been pretending to be a king all alone for a very long time! It must’ve driven him mad! But this isn’t what I came here for. I need to find Ratte. No matter how much someone pretends to be king, they can never truly be king. The only person that holds the contract of submission of all the soldiers up here is Ratte!
“Where do you think your king will run to? I need you to think about it and give me an answer!”
Han glared at Harbard and the man swallowed as he thought about lying. Ratte was still his king and the first priority of a right hand is to protect his king from any danger. Should he lie? It really doesn’t matter if he dies here. He hasn’t been afraid of death for ages! Han took a step forward in annoyance and Harbard flinched! Yeah, no way is he lying to someone this strong!
“He might be going to the lower floors! I don’t know which one it is exactly but he has been talking about going down there for a week or so before he disappeared. If you want to find him then it is there you have to look!”
Heh. Han almost snorted. It seems like the right hand is a lot like his king. They’re both wimps. If it was Gregory in Harberds place he wouldn’t have broken under any sort of pressure. He would have rather died first instead of ratting out his king! But what would you expect from the right hand of a coward!
Han then started to speak.
“Keep lying to the people about what happened here and make sure you don’t ruin the reputation of the kings. If you ruin Ratte’s reputation it also reflects on all of us. I hope you are not attached to your king in any way. Because if I find him, I’m going to tear him apart like a piece of meat!”
Harberd flinched back in shock as Han shouted this! He was terrified of the look on Han’s face! It was a look of complete and total anger! The man stayed in this position for a while but he finally breathed a sigh of relief once Han turned around and started to walk away. He thought Han would try to destroy everything here because Ratte wasn’t around! After the rumors he heard from Han’s former fight and the kind of power he felt coming from Han, Harbard knew that it was very possible for Han to actually destroy them. Harbard felt bad for his king if Han ever finds him. Ratte stood no chance against Han. No chance at all!! May Odin be with him.
Han walked back to the main courtyard of the castle and he saw Gregory standing in front of about five hundred guards. He has almost a hundred people that lay dead at his feet while the others looked like they were trying to decide if it was a good idea to attack like their dead comrades! Gregory really lives up to the Grim Reaper title, didn’t he? Han touched Gregory on the shoulder and the boy turned around and looked at him in surprise.
Gregory was silently asking Han what happened and Han shook his head in disappointment before pointing down. He would tell Gregory all about it some other time, but for now he just needed to leave. The two of them fell into the shadow and disappeared. Every guard there sighed in relief once Han and Gregory were gone. When they were only fighting Gregory they thought they stood a small chance, but once they saw Han they knew they didn’t stand a chance in hell! He would kill them before they even got a chance to move! They were glad that they were gone now!
