Chapter 11 - 11.Luna

"Hey look it comes out. Hello, little buddy" James stretch his hand trying to touch its head. It blinks its eyes and starts coiling Albert's left hand; Seeing that a stranger hand approaching her, the snake slither to Albert armpit dodging the hand as she observes her surroundings like a baby in a foreign world.

She seems scared of everything but she treats Albert like a safe haven and seems to be okay with his presence. Albert stretches his right hand to her new puppet and she slithers right to it and starts coils around it like a bracelet.

"Hey hey, do you get any special ability like you can talk to it like in some fantasy novel? Can you give it a command like go attack James or something?" Alice is a fan of a fantasy novel and she read it every day. There's a lot of pet and taming related fantasy novel when usually you tame a pet you instantly get an ability from it or you can talk and understand it. Albert understand why his sister is so excited but not even 1-minutes past he burst her bubble of imagination

"It's not like what you think it is Alice. It's real life and not a novel well maybe there's a trait that you can gain that can help you with that but this is not one. I don't think she understood if I told her to attack James. And somehow I feel like she thinks of me more like her personal treehouse rather than her master" Albert comment as she continues to play with the snake

"You can't command her? It's a female? How do you know it was a female? Did she have an ability or something that can help you?" James asked

"It says here in her status screen that she's a female. As for whether or not, she can help let me check my TMS(Trait, Mastery, & Skill) tab. I think I got a new thing in there."

"How come you have some experience in your puppet mastery already? How do you do that?" Kana notice that my puppet mastery is not at 0%.

"I don't know maybe because I summon her it went up from 0% to 1%"

"Why don't you give her a name? In your skill list there said summon unnamed puppet" suggest Alice come out of her hiding hole behind James while

"That's a good idea let me think a name for her. Hmmmmmmm. Do you guys have any good names for pet snake? Should I call I sneeky? or snek?"

"WOW YOU HAVE VERY GOOD NAMING SENSE, ALBERT," said James sarcastically

"Oh whatever I have terrible naming sense, SUE ME! Alice picks a good name then you usually come up with a creative one. And for all the holly above I'm not naming her Boop Noodle or Danger Noodle, Kana."

I stare at Kana knowing that she would suggest an even worse name that I already had.

"Hey!!! that's rude I have better naming sense than that!" Kana puff her cheeks as if she's been wronged.

"And not another word from you, BONE-VOYAGE!!"

"Hey!!!! That's a great name. Beside, Slippery Ramen sounds really cute." James asked her holding his laugh while Kana is rolling on the floor.

"You guys are the worst."

Fortunately, Albert knows that he has terrible naming sense unlike the other two who always denied it. Well in James's cases he embraces his terrible naming sense rather than denying it.

"How about lucy or luna? She's so white and beautiful I think it would fit her?" Alice finally broke the terribly named trio concert that has been going on.

"Oh, Luna I like that one. I guess that would be her name then. From now on you'll be called Luna. Ok, little buddy?" Albert said while petting the little snake. Luna's eyes flashing and some kind of blue shade can be seen inside her red eyes for a second. She approaches Albert's hand again as if she hasn't had enough of the patting.

After that little event, James drove Albert and his sister to their home. Albert plays with luna all the way home petting it and letting it slither all around his body up and down. She seems to enjoy resting her head on his shoulder so He just let her do that to raise more affinity with her.

'Why do I feel her weight when she's on my lap? Aren't I suppose to be paralyzed'

Albert said in his mind while pinching his tight

'Ouch!!! I can feel it! I can feel my legs! Okay, calm down first don't gets your hopes up. It's not confirmed that you can walk again! Calm down, you've done all kinds of experiments before too. If you get your hopes up and it fails your family is the one that will suffer the most. Calm down' Albert struggle not to shout when he found out that he can feel his leg again.'

'Maybe it's a side effect of the experiment? But my dizziness is already gone and the principal said there's no side effect other than the power that you get. Not that I'm protesting if I can walk again'

Albert tries to feel and move his leg all the road from Kana's to his house without getting caught by anyone especially Alice. He discovers that although he can feel all his leg from tights to toe, He can't move them at all except wiggling his little toe. Being able to wiggle a toe is already very exciting news for a boy that has been floating 10 years long.

The only reasons he can keep it all down is because he's been in many experiments that promise it can heal him but they all failed it. And every time the experiment fails he can see his family sadden face while trying to cheer him up. Though he acts like it doesn't bother him he still hopes that one day he can walk again.
