Chapter 14 - 14. Weapon Instructor

The principal going up to the stages with his entourage. One of the guys is really bulky walking right behind the principal covering the guy behind him. But the one that stands out the most there is a funny looking guy who is a bit plum but moves agilely through the stairs. Most of the students pay special attention to a particular lady who walks beside the plum guy.

She is really attractive but the reason most students can't keep their eyes away is because of her aura. Not that the aura is visible is just the way that she moves feels different compare to others. And there are some more suit-wearing people following the group walking to the stage look kinda imposing.

"Ahem, I see that some of you guys already adapting to your new power. I know that some of you still figuring out about the situations but don't worry we're here to help you. In front of you guys are some of the peoples that already going through the same things that you are experiencing at the moment." The principal start the speech without any opening and straight into the core problem.

If you look around the auditorium you can find a really magnificent sight that you can only find in a movie. In just a day a plain normal school turns into an X-Men university with weirdo everywhere eyes can reach. You can find one student who used to be normal, grow overnight into a bodybuilder almost as big as a door. You can find a student with a plant-like vine growing on her hand and even a student who brings a white snake pet hanging on his shoulder.

"We also have some transferred students that would go through the experiment and become evolver alongside you guys. I hope that you guys can get along with each other and help those in need. Now I guess that's enough introductions so let's move on to the next agenda."

The principal start explaining things about the experiment, mostly about the purpose of the experiment and about the new world that they call Eden. It turns out that the government is creating a VRMMO that somehow can materialize you into the new world. It couldn't transfer your real body and even if you died in there you would still be alive. But dying is not without side effect so the principal warn the student multiple time about that.

The situation in Albert's group is really dire. James is trying his hardest not to fall asleep while Alice is catching up with Anna not paying even the smallest bit attention to what the principal speech. Only Kana and Albert listening to the principal trying their best not to miss important stuff while taking some notes on their comlink.

After 2 hours the principal finally finishes his preliminary explanation about Project New World. The principal also provides a link to a school website where students can find a more detailed explanation about the experiment. There's also a half an hours video the goverment provides as a general explanation about the outline of the project.

"Now that you guys got the gist of all of this. it's time to just dive right into a practical side. I could go on explaining this to you for days and you would still confused about it. As many say you learn better walking 10 thousand miles than reading 10 thousand books. Now I would give the floor to the peoples behind me to take over. They are the people who already going trough the experiment for 2 years so you better listen to them."

The principal walks back and sits on one of the chairs on the stage as 3 people walk to the center of the stage. The plum guy, the buff guy and the lady with unique aura waltz through the stages and take a stand in the middle of the stages and start introducing themself.

"Hello, my name is Hubert you can call me Mr. Hubert or Sir Hubert, beside me, is Mr. Carlos and Ms. Layla. We are the basic instructors that would help you in figuring out your mastery, skills, and traits. I'm not good with words so let just start with a presentation. We would now show you guys our ability so prepare to be amazed. HAHAHAHAHAHA"

The buff guy, Mr. Carlos moves to the front and takes a fighting stance and suddenly a sword and a shield appears on each of his hand. Sounds of awns from the students can be heard surprised and amazed by a guy pulling weapons out of nowhere.

"Calm down!!!" The principal said from the back calming some frightened students

"Mr. Carlos has sword mastery and shield mastery as his starting mastery. He develops both of that masteries and uses sword and shield to survive in the new world. As for why he can summon them out of nowhere, that was not related to his mastery so we wouldn't focus on that. As the principal already told you guys, your consciousness is going to be sent to the new world and in that world, magic exists so don't be too easily startled."

"I believe most of you guys have at least one weapon related mastery. Sword-mastery is the most common weapon related mastery that you could get so Mr. Carlos would teach you guys about basic weapon mastery. Most of you guys that got sword mastery and or shield mastery can also ask him for further instruction. For those who have others weapon mastery, I suggest you go to the library as we have compiled data about others weapon including a holographic video on how to use them."

Students chatter can be heard getting louder when Mr. Hubert talk others weapon beside sword and shield have to learn by themselves. 1 particular person who is surrounded by a group who wear the same uniform as him, stands up and questions Mr. Hubert without a care as if he is a king and everyone need to respect him. His attitude is really similar to a young master in some generic novels.

"Aren't people who have others weapon mastery would be at a disadvantage as they don't have an instructor, then? While the holographic video is nice as we can see them with our eyes and follow their movement. There's no way it can compare to a real-life instructor who can give you advice and correct your mistake."

Mr. Hubert ignores the young master and continues his speech sharing his experience about the New World Project. He also mentions that the whole 4th floor of our school is already renovated to be a library and we are free to go there and read some stuff that we don't understand as there are too many students and there's only a limited amount of instructors.
