"So what are we going to read?"Alice asked the group as they sit on the corner.

"I think we should look up for something related to our mastery that we have. Puppet mastery if there are any and sound-related mastery would do for me, And I'll also put some pet related mastery on top of that. What about you guys?" Albert said while browsing the categories in my comlink

"Hmmmmmm, I don't really know what titles are related to my masteries. Can you give me suggestions? It's really weird to think that I would fight a monster with a book. I mean what should I do, bash the enemy with the book? Doesn't seems to be helpful." Kana said grumbling

"You have your Vitality Restoration Mastery, right? Why don't you read about basic healing skills or something related to that? Why read basic soul pet, Albert? I thought what you have is soul puppet and not a pet."

James suggest to Kana

"I'm looking at healing related skill but I can't see a basic healing title here. There are some basic elemental heal, basic natural heal, and some more specific like water element heal, light element heal. Which one should I choose?"

"Luna feels more like a pet than a puppet so I want to cross-reference my puppet mastery with pet mastery cause I feel like they are kinda interrelated. Also, my puppet mastery categorized as a rare mastery so I'm not too sure whether I can find puppet related titles.

I would choose natural heal if I were you. But you can also read the other one if you have time to cross-reference it. Vitality related books could be an option too so maybe pick 2 or 3 titles. And see what works best."

"Really there's no title about your puppet mastery? They usually have at least a title even if it's a rare mastery. As for you, I suggest this, this, this, and this" Anna said while picking natural healing, basic mana manipulation, basic inscription, basic body manipulation, on Kana comlink

"Oh, you have to read some basic title like mana manipulation and body manipulation. It would help you a lot with the lesson later." Anna added as she picks some titles for her to read in her comlink.

"Anna sis help me pick a title, PLEASEEE!!!" Alice jump on Anna bandwagon after she saw Anna picks couples titles for Kana to read

"Sorry I can't help you with that, sweetie. I only can help with basic stuff but you have 3 rare mastery so I don't know what to do. I would recommend you take some basic stuff first and pick more advanced stuff later when you understand yourself better" Anna said to Alice

"I'll take on that suggestion, Anna. You have to have strong foundations to build a tall building." Albert said while choosing extra titles to read from his comlink.

"Will this basic mana manipulation and basic body manipulation title really help me along the way? I don't have any mana due to my traits, would reading mana manipulation be useful?"Kana doubt her sister selection as she browses through her comlink

"Even though you don't have mana having knowledge about basic mana manipulation could still be useful. Normally you would need a certain amount of mana to cast skills whether you like it or not. And your blood magic traits said that you can use a skill the difference only that it would cost HP rather than MP. Basic Mana manipulation would teach you not only how to manipulate mana but also how to use your mana to cast your skill."

"So although you don't have any mana it would be still helpful to read that. Body manipulation would help you a lot tough as your HP and your body are inseparable. With both titles in hand, I think it would help you down the road counteract your negative combat traits."

"As for basic inscriptions title, it's one of the ways evolver who have book mastery fight. You can inscribe your books to have some effects that would help you fight. Books, Orb, Wand, and Staff these are the most common weapon for evolver who uses magic. Each of these weapons has its own advantages but one thing they have in commons is they all help some kind of inscription to help you cast your skill more effectively."

"Whoaaa, I guess we're in luck to have a private instructor." James leaves his comlink and starts bugging Kana for an explanation.

"As you already know your mastery doesn't give you an instant magical ability to do something. For example, if you have fire magic mastery it doesn't mean you can instantly make a fireball out of thin air. They gave you knowledge about fire manipulation and how to do it and you learn to control your mana to do just that and create a skill. You'll learn this in Ms. Layla class later."

Kana start reading in her comlink intensely after she is content with the reasons her sister gave her. After Albert has done choosing titles to read He starts helping his sister and James choosing their title to read. He gave them both most of the basic stuff that Anna suggests plus a couple of titles that seems fitting for them.

He gave Alice basic earth element, basic hand to hand combat, and also body manipulation skill as for James he's really lucky as summon skeleton skill is one of the most common summoning skill so he chooses that despite Albert protest and he also pick couples extra summon related titles as a reference.

Albert recommends him reading some basic summoning, basic skeleton summoning, and basic necromancy due to necromancer class. James try to find some shield related combat technique but he couldn't find it. Most shield related titles have some kind of combination with others weapon and in the end, James gave up and chooses basic blocking titles to add up to his reading list.

Judging by James appearance people would be amazed how a muscle fool like him can stand reading that many titles without overheating his brain. Granted that his muscle is only a facade and he's really just another geek like Albert who happens to have a father whose is an ex-athlete.
