Chapter 22 - 22.After School

Albert back to learning controls his mana again following Anna's advice. This time instead of trying to gather and hold it in his hand - he tries to release it bit by bit through his palm. After several tries, he successfully controlling his mana and start emitting them from his palm.

'I need to try to focus my mana on a more specific spot like my fingers. According to the information I gather from the library, most instrument mastery plays their instrument using their finger. Focusing mana on larger surfaces such as hand would be easier but it also wastes more mana as it spread around evenly.' Albert's brain analyzes how to efficiently utilize his mana

Times pass by fast and soon it was already 3 hours since Ms. Layla start her lesson. Although some students can be considered successfully did casting a magic spell the same thing couldn't be said for most of the students.

"Okay, 3 hours is up it's time for you guys to go home now. For those who still can't cast a spell don't be discouraged as things are different for each people. Some mastery is harder and some are easier to learn - And you also have to consider your traits which could make learning specific mastery harder."

"So don't give up too fast and just do your things up to your own pace." Ms. Layla said encouraging the students who didn't get to cast anything.

After Ms. Layla's encouragement, students start to leave the auditorium to go to their own home. Albert entourage already books James's taxi services so they start heading to the parking lot.

"So, how does it feel?" Albert ask James

"What does what feel?"James smirking to him pretending he doesn't know what he is talking about

"Don't get too cocky you bastard. Just tell me already"Albert punch James on his arm annoyed by his smug face.

"Hey, that hurt! I know you just envy cause you don't get to try casting skill but you have Luna let me have my fun." James pointed at Luna and grumbling

"Well, it was a fun experience I have to say. We've been playing games together since we're still on daycare and today I got to experience to summon stuff like I was in the fantasy world." James said excitedly

"Soooo, do you have any advice for those who want to try casting a skill? You know in case I try to cast one later" Albert ask him pretending he wants his advice

Hearing Albert's question Kana understands that he is asking James advice to help her as she failed miserably in Ms. Layla's class. She turns her head and stares at James hoping she can get information about his personal experience casting a skill.

"Hmm, how do I say this? I just did it as Ms. Layla instruction, create the rune and move my mana through my hands into the rune. If you want some advice I guess tread carefully. Mr. Stan dispell my runes a couple of times as I oversupply my mana trying to make BONE-VOYAGE stronger."

Hearing the name Mr. Stan, reminding Kana that she forgot to ask him about book mastery. James continues gloating about how awesome he was successfully casting a spell on the first day he learns it.

Sharing our experience's we found out that Kana is having a really hard time controlling her mana. Even after the class ended she still couldn't feel her mana existence and spend the entire time learning about healing rune.

The next morning, you can hear students bragging to their friends all around the school as they go to their classes. Albert's group scheduled to take weapon mastery class first thing in the morning - followed half an hour break and then skill application class. After students are done with the classes they are free to train whatever they want until 3 pm - The school needs to install some device so all students have to go by 3 pm.

Albert entourage arrived at the football field that has been modified. Rows and rows of machines can be seen lining up in the football fields. 30 brand new fighting dummy installed on the left side of the field and more other equipment such as sandbags are also installed there. Make the field looks more like a gym than a football field.

Mr. Carlos walks into the football field right before the class start, with a few people in tow.

"As this is a weapon mastery class, we will start the class by picking your preferred weapon first. You can pick your weapon on that machine over there. There you can see a list of weapons and detailed about each weapon. If you still can't decide what weapon suits you best you can try a couple of weapons in the simulated room over there."

"Please be mindful as we only have a limited amount of time and If everyone is wasting their time to choose their weapon - We wouldn't have enough time to learn anything. Don't be too afraid that in choosing your weapon as you can change it later if you feel it doesn't fit you."

"Although I said that It doesn't mean you can just pick carelessly. The weapon that you choose now would be given to you for free as your school already paid for it. If you want to change to another weapon then you would have to find it by yourself. This very weapon would also be your starting equipment when you dive in-game it would stall your early game development if you choose the wrong one."

"Now, If you don't have any question you can start choosing your weapon of choice as we don't have an unlimited amount of time."

Finish with the introduction, half of the students start to walk towards the machine to look at the weapon list. A small group of students is standing in front of him raising their hand waiting to ask their question. Albert's group also stays in their spot as they want to consult about Alice's condition.
