"Depends on your preference; You either could go all in being full-fledged magic caster and use your shield as a defensive measure. The advantages of this choice you could stack all things that would help you improve your magic capability leaving your shield and your summon as your only defensive measure. The disadvantages are you're wasting one mastery slot as a shield is not that really useful in range." Anthony gave James his opinion when he asks him about his mastery.

Anthony didn't comment a lot about Anna's skills as both of her mastery are the most common weapon mastery. Due to her traits, she was lucky to land herself to possess 2 different melee weapon mastery. Weapon mastery split into 3 different categories as in melee, ranged, and magic weapon mastery. Each person usually only possess 1 weapon mastery and other weapon mastery usually disappear from their mastery list after you choose one.

Although there are some cases of a person possess 2 different weapon mastery; There never been a case of a person possess 2 weapon mastery from the same category. A lot of range weapon mastery acquire a melee weapon mastery to compensate their weakness on a later date as their 4th or 5th mastery. Staff mastery falls on both melee and magic weapon mastery so there has been no case of staff user possessing multiple weapon mastery.

The conversation stalled a bit when Anthony saw Kana's status card. He mulls over her traits and when he learned that she already experiences her first evolution his jaw drops to the floor.

"Congratulations on your first evolution, Kanna. Looking at your overall status the evolutions seem to bring you a ton of benefits. Although it was a shame that it deleted one of your mastery but overall it was good. Your blood master trait is also new things as there has been not even 1 record about these traits. Do you mind if I send your status information to my college?"

"There are some people who have your previous blood magic traits but their's traits don't evolve like yours. If possible we would like to know what triggers the evolution and if it was possible for others to do the same or there is some other requirement."

Kana nods permitting Albert's dad to share her status information and do some research on it. She also explains how she previously couldn't cast a spell due to the absence of her mana pool and how she successfully triggers the evolution.

Kana also expresses her concerns about her deleted book mastery and whether it was possible to relearn it at a later date. Anthony couldn't remember it on top of his head and told her that he would inform her if he found something similar to that.

Anthony didn't make a lot of comments about Alice's very rare mastery. Alice's mastery is the first one ever so he just takes the information and tells Alice to do a couple of demonstrations for him. Anthony and the kids continue their discussion about the whole project until evening. Albert says goodbye to James, Kana, and Anna as their parent is waiting for them for dinner.

Anthony informs them that the government already send them a machine that would let them dive into the game world from their home. It should be arriving either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow so they can just dive in at their convenience later.

He still encourages them to go to school every day as the school has more facilitate like libraries, training ground, and medical staff. You can also meet up with other groups of evolver from different villages and learn how to do other tutorial villages fare.

Albert and Alice dive into the tutorial world right after dinner. A guy came to their house this morning to install 2 machines similar to what they use in the school. Right after the guy finish, Albert contacts Kana and James and plans to meet up in the game world that very evening.

Anthony warns Albert to be careful, the same as in the real world. Nighttime monster is more dangerous compared to the day time monster. Wolf, bats, and most cold-blooded creatures are active during the night making the town the only safe place for them to roam.

Spawning in the middle of the village Albert sees the different vibe the village gave. During the night most people who work outside the village came back making the pubs really brimming. Most of the street stall is closed so the street seems wider and candles light lit up all around the village enhancing the horror vibe.

Today is the first day Albert tries to walk on his two feet again. His HP is already at healed to the max and he can feels all his leg and move it a bit; His real body has really bad muscle atrophy but his father suggests trying to walks in-game first as it didn't have the same problem.

Alice helps him stand from his chair while they wait for Kana and James to come online. Albert put Luna down from his shoulder and successfully stand on his two feet while still holding to his sister. He tries to let his hand go but he instantly wobbles as he didn't have any sense of balance since he has not walked for a long time.

'This is going to take some time to adjust, but at least there's progress.'

Albert's smile from ear to ear and Alice is already in tears. After 10 years sitting on the floating chair, he can now finally stand again on his two feet. As he trains how to walk again James and Kana dive into the game world and got a nice surprise as they see their best friend standing in his two feet.

The party didn't plan to go out hunting that evening and only exploring around the town try to find some quest and more information as there's a lot more people that are available in the village.
