Chapter 43 - 41.Elite Monster

Albert's party is not the only one who receive their new equipment. As minutes go by people starting spawning in the middle of the village exploring the village outside school time. A group of students can be seen organizing a big party for a night hunt. Alice is also eager to try testing the night predator but since other party members are against her.

'I guess not all of them are conceited over their new power. At least they recognize the danger and try to hunt in a bigger party.'

"Should we also join the party?" James asked as he is also eager to try to hunt during the night.

"With a bigger party it would be safer and we can learn about the monster who roams at night." James continue his argument

"Didn't You saw what happens at the rabbit field on the first day? More people don't necessarily mean better. Organizing a mismatched party with no cohesion or any cooperation experience is more dangerous than a normal party." Albert denies James's argument.

"We can try to go outside if we can't find anything to do but only as far as you can see the village. I don't think it worth the risk as we can use the whole day tomorrow to hunt and level up. We can wake up early and try to make 2 hunting trips before lunch and continue to hunt again after lunch." Albert continue

"I agree with Albert; We can also try to dive into the dungeon tomorrow as I got a bit inside information about it. One of the parties in the other village manages to come back without any casualty from the dungeon. Although they didn't complete the whole dungeon and abandon it midway I still learn something from it."

"We can gain a lot of money going into the dungeon as there is a lot of rare material inside it. We do need to bring a couple more backpack if we have a limited amount of inventory space. Anna also said think it was a good idea for us to go into one as dungeon gave more experience compared to normal monsters. She starts going into a tutorial dungeon at level 3 and successfully completes it at level 5; She said since we got a healing jobs it would probably safe to try going into the dungeon." Kana said agreeing to Albert.

The party went to the pubs to meet up with the natives and look for more information; Inside they see Mr. Theo the butcher hanging out with peers around his ages. Kana decides to say hi to him while the rest split up looking for someone who's willing to share their story with them.

James got nothing while Albert got pretty interesting information about the dungeon near the village. Although each village is build mirror to each other and possesses at least 1 dungeon near them; the monster that lives inside the dungeon is different for each village and the information that Albert got is exactly about the monster inside the dungeon near their tutorial village.

Alice meets with a pretty interesting lady who turns out to be one of the village instructors. With enough coins, you can hire her to personally teach you basic magic and some water elemental magic. The lady seems to be fond of Alice and even introduces her to a couple of different instructors who are hanging out in this bar.

"I've got some pretty interesting stuff we can try to explore tomorrow," Kana says to the group

"What is it? Did you get a personal quest?" James ask

"No, but I just had a conversation with Mr. Theo's friend who turns out to be a hunter. He knew every monster around the area, where do they live, weaknesses, etc. I learned that there is an elite version of every monster that we hunt. Elite monster is something like pack leader and turning them in as a quest would gain us village point which we can then exchange with better equipment. We can also try to find rare material and exchange it with village point but we haven't even spotted one rare material exploring the surrounding during this 2 day."

"So in summary Elite monster would gave more experience and gave us better loot, and trying to find a rare material is a waste of time. So where to find this elite monster?" Alice cut in asking the real question

After the party learns that most Elite monsters are location they decide to try to find one of the elite monsters tomorrow morning. Kana is eager to learn from the village instructor after listening to Alice's story but since she was still busy finishing Mr. Theo's quest she decides to add more to her already packed schedule.

Seeing that there is still plenty of time to spend the party decide to go outside the village for a bit. Albert decides to keep his but on his wheelchair for the time being as his walking speed would slow the party down tremendously. He is also the designated backpack carrier so it would be easier to just sit and put the backpack on his lap.

Walking around in the night the group of 4 can't see that far ahead and has to rely on their other senses more. Luckily for them, Luna's sense doesn't get affected and she is also more reliable during the night as she actually is a nocturnal animal. The only downside is her white body would be easier to spot as the dark night really contrast her body white tone.

James summons BONE-VOYAGE increasing the horror atmosphere but it helps the party to feel a bit safer. Walking around they can clearly hear the sound of a night creature but couldn't find anything even after going 1 lap around the village periphery. They decide to try to go on one more lap and log back out after that if they fail to find anything.
