Chapter 274: Buried in the Cleavage of Mountainous Heavens (1)

After Ja Sun's discussion with the Lady of the Lake came to an end... he entered a period of... comprehension. Not of the laws, no, it could wait. He fell into a strange state where the method of becoming a god, no, the act of becoming a god itself has become quite an unappealing idea to him. Of course, her own twisted method that mixed the current era's cultivation with the olden era's was inspiring. However, the revelations truly made Ja Sun befuddled. Why would anyone, in their right mind, choose to become a god with such restrictions?

Heaven was quite literally a bloated joke and Ja Sun still couldn't laugh about the situation.

In essence, all of it was a scam!

"I'm not in the mood," Ja Sun suddenly spoke up. He wasn't near Emerald Lake anymore. He and the lady of the lake had nothing more to talk about. In fact, their 'magic' period was over once Ja Sun tried to open her up about arrays but she refused to divulge more information than she already had, claiming that her arrays held the very essence of the laws, the payment of teaching of which, Ja Sun simply couldn't afford for such knowledge can only be traded with similar information and Ja Sun was barely a master...

No, in fact, as he had concluded before, spirit rings weren't essential for spirit skills but they were the benefits of the modern system that allowed a human to wield a spirit skill without any form of practice. Ja Sun would be considered a master if he can interact with the spirit skill using his martial soul instead of the spirit ring as a medium.

In fact, spirit rings, aside from storage of energy waiting to be exploded, were merely a training device gifted to humans by the laws of the heavens. Ja Sun didn't essentially know which path of the laws this gift belonged to but it was certainly an exotic one and Lady of the Lake hinted that the current cultivation method was heavily optimized by Asura after the war to suppress the spirit beasts and give domination of the world to humans.

His dull words, however, fell on a fuzzy set of deaf ears as a golden figure suddenly shot out from the bushes as if it would have escaped Ja Sun's senses in the first place. Groaning audibly at the unreasonably 'tough' opponent that would even give Erlong a run for her money when it came to throwing reckless challenges, Ja Sun accurately grasped the figure by the head. His furry but human paws squeezed the golden figure's head a little tighter as she began to squirm.

However, despite being arguably humanoid, her body was wildly larger than Ja Sun by at least a meter as her golden paws began to smack against his face in struggle and her feet began to scratch at his thighs as she tore the lower portion of his robes to shreds.

"Really?" Unamused, Ja Sun rolled his eyes at the childish antics as he began to regret his spur-of-the-moment decision to become the 'alpha' of the tribe of two connected with bonds that surpassed the limitations of Bloodline and soul origin. They were, at this moment, more like spiritual twins that could essentially understand one another with thought and as any younger sibling would crave for, the moment she realized how utterly Ja Sun was feeling like giving it up all and start building a simple hut by the lake and plan another future with Ah Yin, Bibi Dong... and probably Yuehua since she was ironically his proper fiancee from the group, the figure just wanted to annoy the bejeesus out of him.

Tossing 'her' aside, Ja Sun leaped and landed on a distant branch before settling and watching the figure slowly regain her bearings, "Hey, this is not cool! You said you wanted me to lower my head so here I am, demanding my leader's attention. What is so repulsive about it?" She spat while Ja Sun looked away for a moment.

Well... he had a few concerning reasons to do so.

Seeing that Ja Sun wasn't even looking in her direction, the figure heaved, "You won't even look at me!"

"Why would you do this then? Eh? Nobody asked you to take such a face and look like that. If all things that 'come out of me' behave like you, I'm fucking scared of having kids and I had already promised Ah Yin to have a few once one of us reach Titled Douluo. She isn't far away and I'm already at that point!"

He finally looked at her. With their memories shared, Ja Sun was well aware of how much of an obsessive individual the Three-eyed Golden Lion was and she was similarly aware of who Ah Yin was.

His gaze fell on a woman who looked like his form of spirit transformation.

Sporting golden fur on her tall and slender form, including her private bits, a small portion from between her collarbone to the flesh in between her breasts and her stomach was felt uncovered. Her legs were thicker than most and her paws were similar to Ja Sun's as in they were a mix of human and bestial limbs. What slightly unnerved Ja Sun was her looks. Proclaiming herself to be Ja Yin, the Three-eyed Golden Lion instantly chose to adopt the appearance of a being closest to Ja Sun. Although not as fair as Ah Yin, Ja Yin had wheat-shaded skin with a set of fiery red pupils in all three of her eyes and a face remarkably close to Ah Yin. Heck, due to her slightly more handsome and 'burly' body, she could pass off as Ja Sun's and Ah Yin's daughter and it creeped the fuck out of Ja Sun for obvious reasons.

Sweeping her golden hair, similar to a mane that Ja Sun sported, back, Ja Yin looked at Ja Sun indignantly, "With that act of yours, we share our third eye of destiny. That's my evil attribute so don't you skimp on responsibility and better take bring about three generation's worth of offsprings from me!"

And there it is, Ja Sun scoffed internally. Ja Yin took more than just Ah yin's features and Ja Sun's rugged charm, she also adopted his personality traits. As she complained, they shared something more than just their essences and the essence of dragons, her evil attribute, which in reality was an actualized concept of destiny was also shared with Ja Sun to a lower degree.

However, the main issue was still Ja Yin's increasing shamelessness which was a perfect split copy of his own.

With Ah Yin's face, roguish charm, debauched attitude, and outrageous passion that may even surpass Liu Erlong... Ja Sun instantly regarded Ja Yin as a threat far surpassing Di Tian.

{A/N: While I did like Wang Qiu-er's design, the main issue is that she can't exist until Tang San's daughter exists, so, she takes the appearance of Ah Yin, just with blonde hair instead and slightly less fair skin since she still hasn't turned human but a humanoid beast also because she went through Ja Sun's memories and realized that he simply doesn't care if someone next to him is a beast or a human.}

If Ah Yin could be said to have touched his heart then Ja Sun feared this woman was his very being given life.

"I'm not having kids with you. Are you crazy? If you did have kids, would you pump out lion cubs or human infants? Did you even think about that?!"

His words caused Ja Yin to swallow her next words as she dusted her naked but fur-covered body off. She wasn't hurt the slightest bit. After all, even if it no longer showed scales, her natural humanoid skin was as durable as a Golden Dragon's scale but also supple similar to a human.

"Then... where were you planning to go? Take me with you," She asserted.

"Huh... sure," Ja Sun shrugged. Not that refusing her would be of any help, "But don't try to claw my pants. Well, not until I get back Bi Ji. I need her help with something."

"You're going to get back Sister Bi Ji!" Ja Yin's pupils instantly brightened, a wide grin spreading over her face to reveal her sharp set of teeth.

"I will defeat you and earn it back," Zi Ji scoffed with her eyes narrowed.

"Pft! Hahahaha!" Ja Yin's fuzzy ears tilted back as she laughed loudly, "Sister Zi Ji is just being shy. Did you know what she said to Di Tian once?"

"Don't!" Zi Ji growled with red taking her cheeks but Ja Yin had grown too boisterous for anyone's good... just like Ja Sun. They both were a menace and were the only restriction to one another.

"She said that she would only follow Di Tian loyally for the rest of her life instead of his strength should he tame her and strip her reverse scale.

Of course, dragons ain't that sentimental but she is... kek!"

She stuck her tongue out, while Zi Ji quivered in shame as she didn't dare look into Ja Sun's eyes.

"Oh?" Ja Sun's response, however, left her stunned, "Sweet deal, I guess. Certainly removes the romantic pursuit and gets down to business directly."

"Right? Even Sister Bi Ji was quite amazed by her brave claim. Hehe, but of course, I'm the Tribe's female alpha!"

"No, Ah Yin is," Ja Sun snorted.

"The second alpha, then!"

"That's Bibi Dong."

"The third!" Ja Yin lost her smile and stated with gritted teeth as he fell into a dilemma.

"Why would you be an alpha? You're my bitch, I mean, technically." He looked up to match his gaze with Ja Yin. Of course, he wasn't admitted to anything but just looked sincerely confused. If it were him, he would wholeheartedly give someone else the control and have fun without any responsibility to hold him down.

Stunning Zi Ji further, Ja Yin's cheeks darkened with a flush as her eyes gained a devilish brilliance as she cooed, revealing how his masochistic side had affected her... or she was into it from the beginning, "You're damn right I am!" She pecked the top of his head as his expression darkened.

This wasn't the reaction Ja Sun expected as he felt his teasing would blow her top off... but as expected, she is too dangerous!

"What's that?!" Zi Ji gasped as she looked towards Ja Sun's waist.

"Signs of an extremely desirable and unhealthy relationship... in other words, my personal Silver Sword..." Ja Sun mumbled while Ja Yin laughed the whole time, not minding Ja Sun's words and reactions in the slightest as she would teasingly brush her toes against his crotch when Zi Ji wouldn't be looking.

They were on the road for quite some time, unaware of the storm the spirit beasts would kick off with Ja Sun's declaration of letting them have fun.

"Hmm... we're almost here," Ja Sun could feel spiritual reactions from the green scale while the two women instantly grew interested as to why Ja Sun had walked for so long and what he meant by keeping a promise. After all, even Ja Yin hadn't seen through everything but she could sense that this promise had been a great motivational factor for Ja Sun. She could only sense the number '2' for some reason.

As if there were two very important things about this promise that drove Ja Sun to such perfection and culture.
