Chapter 476 Bam Bam, The Energy Lifeform

Bzzz!

Legolas saw himself inside a small bamboo building.

Alert and on the defensive, Legolas observed his surroundings. Apart from Daemon who at this moment was also alert and on the defensive, the only other existence in this small bamboo building was the energy lifeform.

This blob was formless, effortlessly changing it's forms at various intervals.

Like them, it's constantly changing form suggested to Legolas through Predator's instincts that this energy lifeform was also on guard against them.

This observation eased his nerves a bit, at least he was also afraid.

After a few seconds, noticing that they had no intentions of attacking him for now, the blob finally changed into an amoeba-like shapeless form.

Focusing on the walls of the small bamboo building, the walls became soft and rippling like water the next moment as it showed a see-through screen.

Through this screen, they were able to see what transpired in the tunnel that led to the cave of the Demon that they just brought an end to.

"Roar…!!"

"Rawrr…!!!"

"Screech…!!!"

Different types of Demons charged into this cave, looking for the intruders or rogue souls that caused so much commotion here.

As soon as this scene played out, while Core Protector Daemon was startled, Legolas' brain geared into overdrive instantly as he sought a solution.

'I already messed up, what I need is a solution'.

'Stealth is an unquestionably important aspect of my plan, we can't afford to alert the whole Underworld about the existence of rogue souls'.

'If our existence is busted, my plan is more or less rendered useless'. He became desperate.

'Think!'

'Think!'

It didn't even take a millisecond, lightbulbs lit in Legolas' head the next moment. Without hesitation, he gave orders in his mind.

'Tarmac is an eccentric and devious demon who loved staying alone in isolation, paying attention to only torturing his victims in numerous creative ways'.

'There's no way a Demon like this would let so many low-tier demons invade it's cave without annihilating them all, that brings this story'.

'Through my Demon, I already know that the Upper Demons all have petty feuds against each other. Instead of making it seem like rogue souls killed Tarmac, why not make it seem like a case of Upper Demon rivalry?'

'Because of their rivalry, though the All-Father does not necessarily support it, it makes complete sense for my Demon to kill Tarmac for more power'.

'Afterall, they grow stronger by absorbing more souls'.

'It's logical that he killed Tarmac to absorb his soul'.

'If that is the case, then those eyeballs are evidence'.

"Do it!" Legolas ordered.

The next moment, the Tamed Demon outside Tarmac's cave no longer stayed idle. Unsheathing his twin blades, this Demon charged into Tarmac's cave through the tunnel as he started a demon massacre!

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Which each swing of a blade, multiple Demons were massacred.

None of them were spared, all of them were annihilated as the remaining intimidated Demons all turned and scurried away to their various posts.

After wiping out all the low-tier Demons, the tamed Upper Demon finally picked up Tarmac's pair of eyeballs as he glared at them and licked his lips.

Seeing this, Legolas heaved a sigh of relief inside the bamboo building.

'Phew…!' He barely heaved a sigh of relief when a powerful voice reverberated in a deep tone that sent a chill down his spine.

"Akramac". The voice reverberated with a calmness filled with authority.

"What have you done?"

BOOM!

One slash of his sickle sent the mountain into oblivion, collapsing, and exposing Tarmac's cave while also exposing Akramac, the tamed Demon.

As soon as the mountain collapsed, this powerful Demon looked at the cave, at all the emaciated souls cowering at the corner who had been Tarmac's victims for decades. No one knew if he felt disgust, but he looked away.

His eyes focused on Akramac then at the pair of eyeballs.

Legolas could no longer control his tamed Demon, the instincts of this Upper Demon kicked in at the face of overwhelming power.

He bowed slightly in respect. "Lord 1st".

The Demon levitating in the skies said nothing as he simply looked at Akramac. He didn't need to say anything, he never repeated questions, the question he asked reverberated in Akramac's mind like tolling bells.

'Akramac, what have you done?'

He answered instinctively. "Tarmac stole my Adaat Alfarath…"

"Don't use that term before me".

"Yes, Lord 1st".

"In a fit of rage, I killed him".

"And you absorbed his soul energy".

"Yes".

"…" The Demon levitating in the air silently looked at him.

During this time, frozen in trepidation, Legolas finally stole a glance at this Demon. Unlike the other Demons, this Demon had only 1 horn, he had the physique of an extremely tall human and on both his hands were Sickles for weapons.

"You will meet the Demon Master for punishment in 2 days". He finally spoke again in a nonchalant tone. "Make sure that Tarmac's death does not affect any of our ongoing activities, or else…"

Akramac felt a great pressure act on his soul, he instinctively lowered his head. "I understand".

Bzzz!

This Demon directly teleported out of this region.

Akramac remained bowing for some time before Legolas finally regained control over this beast. He ordered it to act normal as he vent his anger on some low-tier Demons the next moment before wandering away into the distance.

Inside the bamboo building, for an hour, no voice was heard.

It was only after an hour that they had the courage to speak.

"Who was that?" Daemon's voice finally reverberated in a whisper.

"Demon Master Zorgoth's assistant, the Reaper Demon, Azrael". Bam Bam materialized eyes in his blob form as he turned to look at the 2 humans.

"He is the 2nd strongest Demon in this Underworld, the only reason that prevented my escape 20 years ago after 25 years of planning".

"…" Legolas and Daemon silently looked at this energy lifeform.

"You're… Bam Bam?" Legolas finally asked after barely calming his rapidly beating heart as he secretly stole glances outside to confirm that the terrifying Demon was indeed gone out of this region of the Underworld.

"Yes, I am Bam Bam, an energy lifeform".

"During my 3rd Binary Fission, I was attacked by a group of mercenaries who had been tracking me for decades, they battled me, leaving me at the point of death but an energy lifeform has numerous means of survival".

"At my last leg, I sacrificed part of my life essence to change my energy form, turning into a temporary soul form while regressing from the Calamity Grade to become a Grade B energy lifeform in the process".

"What I never knew of was the presence of the Universal Treasure, Underworld during this process, I was sucked in by it's influence and here I am".

"You were once a Calamity Grade?" Daemon's eyes widened.

"You reproduce asexually through Binary Fission?" Legolas was shocked.

Bam Bam grew lips in his blob form and smiled. "Yes".

"I want to thank both of you for helping me get revenge. After what Tarmac did to me for decades, that was the least that I could do to him".

"You both seem to know each other outside here, how did you end up here?"

Legolas and Daemon looked at each other. "It's a long story".

From story to story, the 3 prisoners in the Underworld eased up to each other as they told stories of their different but fascinating tragedies.

This was when Bam Bam's eyes widened. "You once had an adopted Fox pet who had ties to the Beyond Grade A Illusion Emperor?"

"What did she do while you died?"

"…" Legolas was caught off-guard by that question.

His eyes widened. During the course of the Cataclysm, the chaos affected him so much that he completely forgot about Lucky though he knew that she was helping in some fashion during the war.

His eyes narrowed. "Yeah, what did she do while her father died?"
