She heard. Jinhee heard all the words Taehee whispered to her. With her body being held close to Taehee's, she could feel all of Taehee's emotions whilst Taehee delivered those words.
Taehee was hurt by how Jinhee avoided her and was guilty on troubling her everyday. Tears formed at Jinhee's eyes as she registered in the words from Taehee.
Taehee wanted to grow close to her, but Jinhee did not accept Taehee. Guilt stabbed Jinhee at that moment as she realized that she was punishing Taehee in this life, when she caused no harm to Jinhee this time around.
Leaning closer to Taehee's body, Jinhee was at a loss of ideas on what to do. Heartlessly turning away from Taehee was something Jinhee could not do at that moment.
When she was shivering at night due to coldness, Taehee hugged her to provide her warmth, and that nightmare was driven away by Taehee.
Jinhee had no idea on what the nightmare was on. There was a never-ending darkness in front of her, and nothing could be found in sights. That's when, she felt raw emotions of multiple people hitting her.
The wave of emotions she felt was filled with negativity, and it was as if her chest was violently pierced by those. Overwhelmed by those emotions, Jinhee sat down. The feeling as if her chest was being crushed down and torn into multiple pieces.
These all was akin to being swallowed by the deep, raging sea and drowning in the sea, no matter how hard one tried to stop oneself from sinking.
The suffocation made it hard for Jinhee to breathe, and no matter how much she wanted to get away from this, her efforts turned worthless. These all felt very much real.
The gentle pats on her back comforted her and bought her away from these nightmares. The air of tranquility and security Taehee provided to her at this moment was something she could get addicted to.

Awkward— A perfect word to describe how she felt towards after hearing that confession of hers. Earlier today, she left for the class before she even woke up, which resulted in her sleeping through her entire English class.
Fortunately for her, the teacher was too busy explaining the lessons to notice her from sleeping. Due to the spring vacation, their monthly exam will be postponed to third of April.
Total of hundred and forty students were there in their school for first year, and Jinhee's aim for this month was to be at top 30 at the very least.
With this March being a hectic month for her, she hardly found time to study properly, and combining with the knowledge she possessed from her last life, it wouldn't be very difficult for her to barely be at top 30.
"Do you want to have a group study this weekend?" Taehee questioned, staring towards Jinhee.
The four of them— Taehee, Jinhee, Chaewon, and Jaehyun— were seated at the cafeteria whilst having their lunch. Not having that much of an appetite, Jinhee decided to stick with a simple sandwich for today.
Putting down her sandwich on the plate, she turned at Taehee and answered, "Sure."
After that, she faced Chaewon, who was seated opposite to her, and asked, "Do you two want to join in?"
"My little squirrel, you hurt my feelings."
