Chapter 55 - Handle it

Both of them were at the library, and placed on the table before them was a laptop. Moving her hand forward, Taehee clicked on the button in order to start the video.

Vigilance played in Jinhee's eyes as she carefully scanned through the contents of the video. The sandy brown set of stairs had no one around them. At the corner, Hyunbin, Jinhee, and Chaewon could be seen standing together.

That is when someone appeared. With her uniform, Jinhee could guess that she was a student at their school, and after looking at the surroundings, she cautiously dripped down some liquid on to the stairs.

Her eyes sharpening— Jinhee had an idea that this was what caused for Hyunbin to slip. Gripping her hand tightly, Jinhee paused the video and stared at the female's face for couple of minutes to see whether or not Jinhee recognized her.

However, the female was someone Jinhee had not seen before. Black pixie cut hair, brown eyes, a rectangular glass, a figure of around 5'0— Jinhee memorized the features of the girl.

Judging by how inconspicuous the girl would appear in the midst of a crowd, Jinhee guessed that she was sent by someone to do this task. The one who schemed this was someone else.

"Lee Yeonwoo, ranks 25th in school, and someone who could be perfectly used as someone's lackey," Taehee voiced out after they finished watching the video.

"As all the students went home and it will be spring break for a week, this can only be continued after a week," Jinhee said, "And I want to do this on my own. Thank you for your help on this, but for the rest part, I want to handle it by myself."

Patting Jinhee's head, Taehee said, "Sure! You can always call me when you need help."

Considering Taehee's meddlesome personality, Jinhee was somewhat shocked by her choice of words. Nonetheless, Jinhee nodded before proceeding to get up from the chair whilst swinging the bag around her shoulder.

Before Jinhee could walk away, Taehee held her hand, preventing Jinhee from leaving and placed a rectangular piece of paper at the hand. Turning back, Jinhee's eyes read the content of the paper.

This was the free unlimited ride ticket to Lunar Amusement Park. Not only the park consisted of thrilling rides, it had many spectacular scenes. Going there was one's dream come true.

Unfortunately, Jinhee only saw the park behind the screen in her last life, and this Sunday is its inauguration day. Visiting the park required a huge deal of money and special connections.

Nonetheless, for someone like Taehee to attain the ticket was nothing surprising. As a member to Han family, everyone looked for opportunities to build up relations with her.

"This- I can't accept it," Jinhee voiced out.

If Taehee probably possessed romantic feelings towards her, Jinhee couldn't misuse them and lead Taehee on. Using Taehee's feelings for her, when she can't give anything in return, to go to the park was outside of Jinhee's morals.
