Raising her head up, surprise filled her when she saw Jaehyun holding the hand of the male, who was about to pour the drink on her. The nonchalant Jaehyun was not someone she expected help from.
Then again, he was there to help her when she was in trouble before. Maybe he wasn't that much of an uncaring guy he pretended to be.
Nonetheless, the thought of getting saved by Jaehyun made her heart react strangely. She did not hate the feeling, rather it was new to her.
"Mr. Han, I have no interest in collaborating with someone who enjoys such dirty things," Jaehyun bluntly voiced out before stepping out of the room.
With a one last apologetic bow, Chaewon walked out of the room with the tray in her hand and looked around for Jaehyun in order to thank him.
Spotting him, she immediately rushed closer to him, and when she was in front of him, with a polite bow, she spoke out, "Thank you for your help today, Jaehyun-ssi."
"This work is not safe," Jaehyun voiced out as his hands were inside his pockets.
The tone he used was not so much nonchalant, and surprisingly for her, Chaewon found Jaehyun attractive.
'Drive those thoughts away from your head, Lee Chaewon. Such irrelevant matters doesn't concern you.'
Before Chaewon could reply, Jaehyun added, "Work under me. I assure you that you won't be paid any less."
Chaewon was tongue-tied; She did not understand what to reply with. Jaehyun's offer to her was like bolt out of the blue.
"You'll fill perfectly for the role of an assistant and no scandals," Jaehyun stated.
Events like today can repeatedly happen, and Chaewon already had made a smart enemy here. No longer can this job be considered that much safe.
Moreover, Jaehyun's offer appeared tempting to Chaewon. The thought of spending time with him and staying close to him made her feel peculiarly giddy.
"Alright, but I get to dress as a male," Chaewon answered.
For some unknown reason, she could not reject Kim Jaehyun. Moreover, no benefit would come to him by using her neither did she want to group him with those scums at her school.
In all honesty, she just wanted to believe Jaehyun was a decent man.
"Come over to this address tomorrow at seven in the morning," Jaehyun spoke out, handing Chaewon a card he took out from his pocket.
As Jaehyun left the scene, Chaewon felt warmth fill her heart as she held on to the card. For the first time, she had someone to help her without any connection or reason.

"That Lee Dowon is too sly," The voice in Jinkyung's head voiced out.
Enraged— a perfect word to describe how Jinkyung felt at that moment. Moonstone Enterprise supposed to be hers, but now those lowly ones were going to interfere with her.
Throwing the pillow across the room, Jinkyung exclaimed, "They will not dare to compete with me! What rights and status do they have to do that!"
"Calm down, Jinkyung, and think calmly. Doing something rashly would only bring trouble. Jinhee has grown smarter, and there must be a factor behind it," The voice in her head expressed.
Jinkyung's eyes widened in horror, and she stuttered out, "C-Could s-she b-be like us?"
"Even if she is, she can do no harm to us. We already contacted her. Jaehyun will be ours, and Jinhee will meet with her demise soon enough."
