Chapter 120 - Easy to convince

Those words made Im Jieun feel scared, and if she were to get in a trouble like Hyesook or Junghwa, her parents won't spare her.

Before Jieun could reply, one of the male student stood up and voiced out, "If your sugar daddy is that powerful, why is he not helping you?"

Another male student added, "Could it be that he has abandoned you?"

Feeling courage rise within her, Jieun, with a sneer, spoke out, "Someone like you, how can you be supported by your sugar daddy for that long? Most definitely you're thrown away by him."

"Do you all know who my sugar daddy?" Jinhee questioned whilst staring at all of her classmates.

All of them grew silent. There was no mentions of who her sugar daddy was when those pictures were released online.

"So, since you have no idea on who my sugar daddy is, that perfectly means that I will be able to charge you all for libel." Jinhee smirked at them.

"I have recorded most of the things you all have said today, and if this is continued, then have a sweet time paying the fine."

Waving her hand at them, Jinhee walked out of the classroom in a cheerful mood. Watching her back, Taehee's lips curved up into a small smile.

Jinhee was starting to get stronger.

°°°

Finding a quiet corner in the library, Jinhee pulled out the chair and took a seat. Placing her bag on her lap, she took out her textbooks and put them on the table.

In her dorm room, the girls will continue to find trouble for her, and since the tests will be conducted tomorrow, she needed peace to study.

Opening her textbook, Jinhee started looking through the problems, and her mind was deeply immersed into studying. Due to this, she failed to notice her surroundings.

°°°

Two girls stood beside the bookshelf, and as they chatted together, a figure sitting at one corner caught their eyes. At that moment, an evil smirk formed on their face.

One of the girls took out her phone, and after swiping across the screen, she clicked on to the call sign beside the number.

The call was picked up by the other side, and moving behind the bookshelf, in order to hide herself from the figure, she put the phone against her ears.

"What is it?" Im Jieun asked from the other side.

"Jinhee is here in the library," The girl voiced out, "You know what I'm thinking of."

"Thanks for informing me this. I know exactly what to do."

Joy and mischief could be noticed in Jieun's voice, and a glint was visible in both of the girls' eyes.

°°°

The librarian yawned as she stared at the ceiling. The day made her extremely tired, and more than anything, she wanted to return home and take a warmth bath.

However, due to the few students staying in the library, as it was the exam time, she wasn't able to do that.

Hearing footsteps in front of her, the librarian fixed her glasses and languidly raised her head to look at the one who came.

"Miss Kim, you look extremely exhausted today," Im Jieun voiced out in a concerned tone. A frown sat on her face, and she looked at her with pity.

Kim Hyojoo sighed.

"Yes, I am completely worn out," Hyojoo answered.

"Your face really looks pale; I feel sad for you. You work as much as hard as the other teachers, but you get to go home much later," Jieun voiced out, "It pains me to see this."

"No one, dear, except for you, can see this," Hyojoo stated, "Everyone just keeps adding more job on to my head because they think I'm too free. No one can actually see my troubles."

"They are really unfair to you, Miss Kim. Why don't you go home for today? I'll handle things here," Jieun suggested.

"No, dear, I can't do that. Moreover, you also have to study."

"Don't worry, Miss Kim. I'm done with studying for the exam; I don't mind helping out. Just go home early today and have a warm bath," Hyojoo voiced out.

Although it was wrong, the offer was really tempting, and Hyojoo wanted to take it. Her vacation was tiring as well for she was occupied with tasks from the school.

"But," Hyojoo voiced out.

"No, buts, Miss Kim. I'm sure you're very tired, and I want to help my favourite teacher out," Jieun voiced out in a sweet tone with a friendly smile on her face.

"Really? I'm your favourite teacher?" Kim Hyojoo questioned with surprise and joy noticeable in her tone.

"Yes, you're. I prefer teachers who are as friendly, passionate, and hard-working like you," Jieun expressed, "Now, let's not waste anymore time."

"Oh! Okay then! Thanks for the help! You're a really good kid," Hyojoo vocalised.

Jieun simply smiled.

"Here are the keys," Hyojoo spoke out.

Opening her drawers, Hyojoo took out the keys and handed it over to Jieun. Keeping on a smiling expression, Jieun accepted the keys from the librarian.

Looking at the keys in her hand, Jieun smirked.

'This librarian is too dumb and easy to convince.'
