Chapter 122 - Deal later

As the door opened, the dorm teacher, Lee Aera, turned to look towards Han Taehee. In front of her desk stood Im Jieun and the two girls from before.

A dark expression overshadowed Taehee's face, and looking at her countenance, one would easily be frightened. With her status, what wasn't she capable of doing to them.

Stepping towards the teacher's table, Taehee asked, "Did Lee Jinhee take a leave?"

The Taehee they had seen either had a gentle, playful, or nonchalant expression. Never did they see such a frightening Taehee.

"No," Lee Aera replied timidly— afraid of being on Taehee's bad side. This teen girl had influence that was powerful and widespread.

Taehee slammed her fist on the table in frustrations, and the sound made everyone jump back involuntarily.

Turning on the her heels, Taehee was about to exit the room when she heard the people behind her talk and halted in her steps.

Facing towards Lee Aera now, Im Jieun, putting on a disappointed outlook, voiced out, "I wanted to call Jinhee earlier for group study but didn't find her.

When I attempted to call her, her phone was found busy, and now, she didn't even return to the dorm. With those rumours outside, who knows what she is doing. I'm—"

Before Im Jieun could continue, Taehee turned back, and going towards the female, she held the girl by her collar. This made her earn surprised gasps from others.

Terrified, everyone stared at Taehee, and a bloodthirsty glint was visible in Taehee's eyes. This was enough to imprint fear into everyone.

"Where is Jinhee?" Taehee enunciated— her voice sounding threatening and deeper than usual.

"I-I d-don't know," Im Jieun stuttered out whilst her face grew pale. Her blood ran cold, and her body shuddered.

"I don't usually hit girls, but I don't mind doing it now," Taehee voiced out warningly.

"I-I d-don't k-know really," Im Jieun voiced out. No one saw her do it, and therefore, she can feign innocence.

Tilting her head to look at the two girls from earlier, Taehee questioned, "Where is Jinhee? If both of you hide it, I'll make sure that you and your entire family can not appear in South Korea forever."

This threat was enough to frighten the two girls, and both of them pointed towards Im Jieun. Their legs trembled, and it looked as if they would give up soon.

"J-Jieun, s-she did everything," One of them voiced out.

"Y-Yes, s-she locked Jinhee in the library; We did not do anything," The other one added.

Scowling at Im Jieun, Taehee loosened the collar of her shirt harshly, and the impact caused for Im Jieun to bump against the wall behind of her.

Wincing at the pain that went through her, Jieun began trembling faster, and she did not have the energy to look up to Taehee. For sure, she was dead now.

"I'll deal with you later," Taehee voiced out before turning her back on Jieun and walking outside.

Falling down, she hugged her knees and started crying in a distraught manner. What had she done?

°°°

Jinhee winced in pain.

The bookshelf fell down, and due to the table supporting it, it did not entirely come down on Jinhee. The books rained upon her, and some of them hit her violently.

Pain went through her entire body, and she did not have the energy to move. Various parts of her body was wounded by books, and blood flowed out.

A drop of blood trickled down her forehead and came in contact with her eyes. Feeling the uncomfortable sensation, Jinhee raised her hand to wipe that away.

The action of raising her hand made her feel like as if hundreds of pins were pierced through her han and then, bricks were thrown top of that hand.

Hearing faint footsteps, Jinhee felt hope rise within her, and although it was very difficult, Jinhee removed few of the books from above of her.

Few times, she also let out cries of pain. A part of Jinhee wanted to give up and close her eyes here, forgetting all pain.

However, her will to survive was stronger. As it was impossible for her to walk, Jinhee slowly crawled to the door whilst wincing in pain.

"There's someone here!" Jinhee yelled out in her hoarse tone with the hopes that certain person will help you.

Pushing her knee forward, Jinhee tried to move closer to the door. A sharp ache went through her stomach, and Jinhee let out a gasp.

Her consciousness was fading away, and no matter how hard she pushed herself, Jinhee was unable to move further.

"Help!" She weakly called.

Hearing someone opening the lock, Jinhee's lips curved up to a smile. Finally, someone was there for her.

In the midst of the darkness, Jinhee heard someone running towards her. This was enough to make Jinhee feel relief, and slowly, Jinhee closed her eyes.

A warmth engulfed her body soon enough, and a soft voice whispered into her ear.

"I'm here now, Jinhee-ah. Sorry for being late."
