Chapter 140 - Such a hurry

"Are you not going to answer this one properly as well?" Lee Jinhee questioned— staring at Han Taehee with a bored expression.

"Certainly not," Taehee voiced out, "It's just that Taeho doesn't like school and his health is weak."

Taehee shrugged her shoulders.

"Since he is the CEO at such a young age, I'm pretty sure he doesn't need to study," Lee Jinhee voiced out, "After all, he is smarter than you."

"That's not true!" Taehee stated, "I'm actually the smarter one, and the reason he is the CEO is because I'm busy chasing after you. But if you'd prefer me if I was the CEO, then I'll go and become the CEO."

"The business will go bankrupt then."

Jinhee stuck her tongue out at Han Taehee childishly.

"I guess you don't know, but Han Taeho gets all his ideas from me. I'm kind of like his mentor," Taehee boasted.

"You are going to have an extremely long nose sooner or later. I have a firm belief on that," Jinhee expressed.

Taehee wrinkled his nose and, then, said, "Alright then. What was the next thing you wanted to ask me?"

'Why didn't you tell me about it before?'

Nonetheless, those words did not leave Lee Jinhee's mouth. Jinhee reminded herself if she were to ask this question to Han Taehee, it would show that she cared.

That's something Jinhee did not want. She did not want to give any hope to Taehee; She did not want Taehee to think that Taehee could completely break through the walls built around her.

Unbeknownst to Lee Jinhee, those walls around her were slowly cracking, and Han Taehee was building up a special place within the heart gradually.

"You want to know the secret behind Taeho's mask?" Taehee questioned.

Staring at Jinhee's expression, Taehee voiced out, "That's not it. So, what's the question you're currently thinking about?"

Jinhee's eyes stared at the water below her, and afraid that Taehee would be able to read her eyes, she did not dare to stare at Han Taehee.

Taehee nudged her shoulder, and with concern being present in her tone, she asked, "Are you alright?"

Whipping her head up to stare at Han Taehee, Jinhee faked a wide smile on her face and said, "Yeah! I was just staring at the water and looking at the ripples."

"As much as I like seeing you smile," Taehee voiced out, "This smile of yours look absolutely weird."

Using her uninjured left hand, Jinhee pinched Taehee's arm, and an irritated expression sat on Lee Jinhee's face.

"Ouch! Jinhee-ah, you're getting too much violent these days," Han Taehee commented.

"This is what you deserve," Jinhee retorted.

"Now, tell me what the question— you desperately want to know the answer to but is secretive about— is," Taehee voiced out whilst staring at Jinhee with eager eyes.

"I have no such questions," Lee Jinhee answered.

"Really?"

Taehee raised one of her eyebrows.

Lee Jinhee gave no answer to that and simply stared at the water beneath her leg. Watching the ripples as they were being created, a small smile sat on Lee Jinhee's face.

Han Taehee sighed.

"Since you're being so secretive, it seems that I would have to resort to this method."

Extending her hands towards either sides of Jinhee's stomach, Taehee slowly and effectively moved her finger.

Realizing what Taehee was doing, Lee Jinhee raised her left hand to slap both of Taehee's hands away. However, Taehee started moving her hands faster.

Biting her lower lip, Lee Jinhee stopped herself from laughing out loud, but after few seconds, as the tickling got intense, Jinhee could not hold it in longer.

Opening her mouth, she burst out into laughter, and the loud voice of her laughs resonated into Taehee's ears.

"Stop, Han Taehee, stop. Stop tickling me," Jinhee voiced out as she tried to get away from Han Taehee.

"Nope, I won't. As long as you don't tell me about it, I won't move my hands away," Taehee stated.

"You can't do this, Han Taehee," Jinhee, in the midst of her laughs, vocalised, "This is not fair. I really don't have anything to say."

"Then, bear with this."

The tickling got worse, and using her left hand, Jinhee tried to push Han Taehee away. Trying to stand up, Jinhee attempted to get away from her.

Unfortunately, Jinhee lost her balance, and her body tilted towards the direction of the water. In less than a second, she fell into the lukewarm water, and in order to save Jinhee, Taehee fell along with her.

The water splashed on to the level platform.

Raising her head up from the water, Jinhee let out a deep breath and wiped the water away from her face. Tucking her hair behind her ears, Jinhee's eyes glared at Han Taehee.

"All of this is your fault!" Jinhee exclaimed.

Taehee started laughing, and Jinhee wanted to beat up the girl in front of her more. Since her left leg wasn't as much as injured as her right one, she put all the pressure the left foot of hers.

Nonetheless, her left foot wouldn't be able to handle her weight for much longer, and she needed to get up from here.

"Now, get up," Jinhee ordered angrily.

Noticing the pained expression on Lee Jinhee's face, Taehee nodded, and, within few seconds, climbed to the platform.

Walking in front of Lee Jinhee, Taehee bent down and grabbed Lee Jinhee's upper arm, pulling her up.

As Lee Jinhee got up, her body fell upon Han Taehee, and raising her head up, Jinhee's eyes met with Han Taehee's.

Taehee's eyes fell upon Jinhee's wet lips, and looking down, Taehee noticed how Jinhee's clothes hugged her body.

Taehee gulped, and pink blush formed on her cheeks. Normal male reactions happened inside of her body.

Afraid that an accident would happen or Jinhee would notice something suspicious, Taehee grabbed Jinhee's shoulders, and using her strength, made Jinhee sit on the platform.

Getting up from that place, Taehee immediately rushed towards the table where the towel was kept, and picking it up, Taehee wrapped it around her shoulders.

Placing the other one on Jinhee's head, Taehee hurriedly rubbed Jinhee's head to dry it and prayed desperately for Jinhee to not notice anything.

"Ouch! Han Taehee, that hurts! I think my hair is dry by now," Jinhee vocalised.

Noticing, Jinhee's detailed collar bone, Taehee gulped again, and picking up Jinhee in a bridal style, Taehee mafe her sit on the chair nearby.

Placing her crutches right beside of her, Taehee voiced out, "I'll come back in five minutes."

Watching Taehee as she ran away, Lee Jinhee was confused.

"What was such a hurry for?" Jinhee mumbled to herself.

°°°

Using her crutches, Jinhee walked towards Taehee's room. Luckily, she did not stumble or lose her stability. That would have been dangerous!

The wet clothes felt uncomfortable against her body. Since it has been more than ten minutes since Taehee had left, Lee Jinhee decided to go to her room and ask about the clothes personally.

Standing in front of Han Taehee's door, Jinhee knocked on it for three times, and hearing no reply from inside, Jinhee decided to open it slowly.

Peeking through the opening in the door, Jinhee was met with a shocking sight, and her eyes widened. Her mouth was left open.

Han Taehee stood in front of her. There was no garment on the upper part of her body, but that wasn't what shocked Jinhee.

'T-Taehee i-is a-a h-he?'
