Chapter 213 - Great teacher

Seeing a serious Taehyun in front of her was something that managed to astound Jinhee. As Taehyun went through the book in his hand, a grim look sat on his face, making Jinhee feel nervous.

To Jinhee surprise, Taehyun did not seem to make a joke through the entire time and was seriously concentrated on teaching Jinhee. It was really similar to her last life, and she obediently listened to what Taehyun taught her.

Jinhee had to admit that he would become a great teacher. He explained clearly and patiently, clearing each one of her doubts. In Jinhee's opinion, he was somewhat better than her school's teachers.

Taehyun let out a sigh, causing the nervousness within her to intensify, and placing down the notebook, he turned towards Jinhee.

Extending his finger towards a problem, Taehyun said, "This is completely wrong, Jinhee. You solved the equation in a wrong way, and that's why, the plotting of the graph was wrong. This should be practiced for twenty more times, considering how you messed up such an easy question. You are really not as bright, Jinhee-ah, as I had thought of you in the first place."

"Well, considering how I skipped classes so much, it's normal for me to be incompetent at it. Too bad, I am not a natural talent like you," Jinhee voiced out whilst sticking out her tongue towards Taehyun.

"That's why, you have to work hard. No sleep for you for these next few days, Jinhee-ah. I would advise you to stay at home and study instead of going to school. I can tutor you," Taehyun vocalised.

"Is that so? If you promise to teach me properly, then sure," Jinhee said whilst shrugging her shoulders.

Pinching Jinhee's nose, Taehyun said, "Of course, I will be teaching you properly, Jinhee-ah; I know how much this means to you. However, this isn't going to be easy."

°°°

Entering her room, Jinhee fell down upon her bed. Glancing at the clock, she realized that the time was around three in the morning, and she was too sleepy at this moment.

The serious mode of Taehyun's wasn't nice. Due to her mistakes, Jinhee got cursed at a lot, and her hands gave up at the end due to how much he made her write. He taught her for seven hours straight with no breaks in between— except for the minutes of dinner break— and at this moment, Jinhee's mind would not be able to process anything more.

Before Jinhee could drift off to her Dreamland, her phone suddenly started ringing, surprising Jinhee, and taking her phone, she wondered who could be calling her at this time of the day.

Staring at the screen, Jinhee was taken aback when she noticed Taeho's name on top of it, and somewhat irritated that she was unable to sleep, Jinhee received the call.

Yawning, Jinhee asked, "Taeho, did you need anything?"

"Jinhee, did I interrupt your sleep?" Taeho questioned.

"No, I was about to sleep now," Jinhee said, "What happened for you to call me at this hour, though?

"Can we meet up tomorrow at four in the afternoon? I have something important that you might want to know," Taeho vocalised.

"Sure, I have something I have to inform you of as well. Let's meet up then!"

"That's great. I will text you the place," Taeho said, "I'll hang up now, so that you can sleep. Bye."

"Bye," Jinhee said before hanging up the call.

Throwing the phone at some place on the bed, Jinhee fell asleep.

°°°

Sitting up on her bed, Jinhee let out a yawn. She had a long day in front of her today. Firstly, she had to study, then go to Lee Mansion, attempt to complete half the design for the competition, and then, also meet up with Taeho.

Sleep lingered in Jinhee's eyes as she stood up. Four hours of sleep were not enough for Jinhee. However, she planned to study with Taehyun early in the morning, and if he could manage ro teach her with only four hours of sleep, she believed that she will be able to do it as well.

In order to ease the headache, Jinhee decided to take medicine, and a cup of coffee— although she did not like the taste of it— would be enough to invigorate Jinhee.

"Hwaiting, Jinhee! You can do it!" Jinhee voiced out to herself as she stood up.

Before she could go towards the washroom, Jinhee's phone rang up all of a sudden, and wondering about who the caller could be, she picked up her phone from the bed.

A frown formed on her face when she noticed Jinkyung's name, and rubbing her temples, she tried to decrease the pain.

Receiving the call, Jinhee placed the phone beside her ear and questioned, "Is there anything you needed, Jinkyung?"

"About what you have assigned me with, Jinhee-ah, I don't want to do it. I don't think I have the heart to sabotage Hyunki's designs no matter how you blackmail me," Jinkyung vocalised.

A smirk formed on Jinhee's face. Seeing through this plot of Jinkyung was not hard for Jinhee, especially since Jinkyung was using her soft voice. Either Jinkyung was recording all this or she had someone beside her, listening to this; It could be both as well.

"Even though I don't understand what you're trying to say Jinkyung, yeah, sure, do not sabotage Hyunki's designs. I definitely wouldn't want you to do that," Jinhee voiced out whilst sounding confused.

After hearing Jinhee's words the other day , Jinkyung was suspicious of Hyunki's talents, and in order to win, she will now try her best to destroy him. So, even if Jinhee declined it now, she won't be facing any problem.

"Jinhee, don't you remember? You wanted me to hurt Hyunki the other day," Jinkyung voiced out, "You even threatened me. But Jinhee, no matter what you do, you wouldn't be able to convince me to do this. Even if you want to hurt Hyunki to remove him, I am sorry. I won't support you, and if you do anything against him, I will protect my little brother."
