Judging from the amount of pink present, one would definitely think that Youngmi prefers pink, and one would most likely choose the pink dress. Nonetheless, having an inkling that Youngmi had done something with the pink dress, Jinhee pointed towards the green one.
"This one looks better, and green would go well with your complexion," Jinhee vocalised.
The slight furrowing of Youngmi's eyebrows were not missed by Jinhee. In this life of hers, Jinhee had become more vigilant and better at reading other's emotions.
Youngmi nodded, and keeping that bright smile on her face, she said, "Alright then! I'll be wearing the green one since you said so although pink is more beautiful in my opinion."
Curving up her lips, Jinhee asked, "If pink is your favourite colour, then why did you make me come here?"
Jinhee then added, "As it is your birthday, shouldn't you be wearing the one you prefer most? It seems that you're not satisfied by the one I chose for you, and doesn't that show I was called here just uselessly?"
Even though Jinhee's tone was polite, it held coldness and unfriendliness. Hearing Jinhee's words, the smile on Youngmi's face almost cracked. Youngmi wanted for Jinhee to fall into a trap but didn't expect herself to be put into such a situation.
"Youngmi-ssi, I had something important to do, but because of you, that had to be delayed," Jinhee said before turning back.
She clearly made it seem as if Youngmi is in the wrong, and hearing Jinhee's tone, the two maids were surprised. They never met anyone who talked to their Young Miss in such a way.
As Jinhee walked towards the door, Youngmi's eyes stared at her back, and she tightly clenched her hand into a fist. Youngmi tried her hardest to not let the anger be shown upon her face.
Before Jinhee could walk out of the room, the door to the closet abruptly opened, and a maid rushed in with a tray in her hand. On top of the tray was a glass of juice.
The maid bumped into Jinhee, and the glass splashed its content around. Before the glass could fall down, the maid held the glass to stabilise it.
Realizing what had just happened, the maid had her eyes widened, and she immediately took a step back. Looking at Jinhee, the maid bowed repeatedly whilst her shivering hands held on to the tray.
"I am sorry; I am really sorry, Miss Lee Jinhee. I wasn't careful. I am really sorry," The maid vocalised.
Having her dress being soaked in juice did not make Jinhee feel pleasant. Nonetheless, this same event had happened in her last life. Although the process wasn't same, Jinhee did get splashed with orange juice.
After she was drenched with juice in her last life, Youngmi offered her a dress to get changed to. But throughout the entire time, wearing the dress made Jinhee's entire body itch, and at the end, she humiliated herself greatly because of that dress.
What Jinhee had learned was to not accept anything from Youngmi in this life of hers, and even if she had to wear a soaked dress, she would prefer that over what Youngmi had in mind.
Before Jinhee could say anything to the maid. Kwon Youngmi stepped forward. Her face showed anger whilst her eyes stared at the maid sternly, and under Youngmi's gaze, it seemed that the maid was shivering.
"Do you know how much of a big mistake you did today?" Youngmi questioned.
Turning towards Youngmi, the maid bowed repeatedly and voiced out, "I am sorry, Young Miss Youngmi. I am really sorry. Please forgive me. I mistakenly slipped. I wouldn't be doing such a mistake next time. Please spare me, Young Miss."
Youngmi let out a groan of frustration, and staring at Jinhee, she let a small smile form upon her face. Youngmi then bowed towards Jinhee whilst Jinhee's eyes showed nonchalance.
"Jinhee, I am really sorry about this. I can punish the maid in whatever way you want," Youngmi said.
Seeing the maids around here, Jinhee knew that gossips would be spreading— which could be potentially dangerous for her— if she did not reply appropriately.
Forcing out a wide smile upon her face, Jinhee shook her head and said, "No, Youngmi, you don't need to apologise. It was just a mistake, and I am sure the maid just slipped. Where is the washroom though? I better clean up before going down. It has been too late, and Taeho could be getting worried."
Youngmi nodded and vocalised, "Sure, sure, do that then. I'll get a dress for you to wear."
Jinhee shook her head and expressed, "I'll be fine with this dress after I clean it up a little. No need to trouble you."
Shaking her head, Youngmi vocalised, "Giving you a dress to wear isn't a trouble to me. I feel guilty so it would make me happy if you accepted it, Jinhee-ssi. After if I hadn't invited you to come here, this wouldn't be happening."
Bowing towards Youngmi, Jinhee rejected, "Sorry, but I don't think I can accept it, Youngmi-ssi. Since this cloth is slightly stained, just washing it with water would worry. I hope Youngmi-ssi wouldn't force me."
Hearing Jinhee's words, Youngmi found herself unable to retort. Trying her best to keep the smile upon her face, Youngmi nodded. Lee Jinhee was too hard to defeat, and two of her plans had already failed.
Nevertheless, she had more sets of ideas, and one of them was bound to work.
"I'll take you the washroom then," Youngmi vocalised, "Follow after me, and if you need a dress to change to, please don't hesitate to ask me about it."
Jinhee simply nodded at Youngmi's words.
As Youngmi walked towards the direction of the door, Jinhee stepped towards the glass table and picked up her purse from on top of it. Her knee-length dress had its chest part stained in juice, and judging from the amount, it wouldn't be too difficult to get rid of it.
