"Youngmi-ssi, the damage is already done, and nothing you say will lessen it. Do you know how it feels to be accused of being a thief?" Jinhee voiced out— her voice showing disapproval.
Youngmi bowed again and said, "Jinhee-ssi, I am really sorry. I knew you would not have done such a thing; I am really sorry I couldn't stop Minji Unnie."
Taking in a deep breath, Jinhee answered, "I accept your apology, Youngmi-ssi, since you're not at fault."
Then turning towards Minji, Jinhee pointed her finger towards her and said, "However, I want her to bow to me and apologise. After all, she had done and attacked my reputation, this is the least she could do."
Hearing those words from Jinhee's mouth made Minji's eyes widen, and although she was in the wrong, Minji wasn't willing to bow to Jinhee or apologize to her.
Before Youngmi could say anything, Jinhee added, "Then again, I do not like humiliating others even if they do for no reason, so I will be just taking my leave. Your birthday party was quite, uhm, eventful for me."
Making Minji bow to her might leave a bad impression of her, especially since a.d.u.l.ts were involved, and therefore, Jinhee decided to just leave. Moreover, the ballroom was beginning to suffocating her, and Jinhee wanted to leave as soon as possible.
As Jinhee stepped out of the mansion, she praised herself for being this smart. After Jinhee had walked out of Youngmi's room, she recalled about how she placed her purse upon the glass table and decided to check whether or not it was tampered with.
When she noticed the small earring at the base of her purse, Jinhee found herself being relieved at it. When Jaehyun asked Taeho for a dance with her, Jinhee carefully and sneakily attached the earring to Youngmi's skirt.
Things flowed smoothly from then on, and Jinhee found herself being lucky that there was nothing more than this. Before Youngmi could plan anything more, Jinhee decided to leave the mansion as soon as possible.
Most of the guests wouldn't be gossiping anything bad about her now for they had seen how Jinhee was embarrassed, and Youngmi's 'mistake' made her seem like a fool to everyone. Although they wouldn't dare say it out loud in front of her, Jinhee was well aware that they will be talking about it behind her.
Seeing Jinhee's distancing back, Youngmi let out a sigh whilst staring at the floor.

As Jinhee sat down in the car beside Taeho, she leaned her back against the soft material of the car, and turning towards Taeho, she questioned, "How was my performance?"
"Better than what I have expected, and you were careful with your usage of words," Taeho pointed out.
"I was really nervous and thought that I will mess up, but having you beside me made me have courage. That's the effect of power and money," Jinhee voiced out.
Hearing her words, Taeho nodded and asked, "How is your progress with Lee Minjoon going?"
"Tell Soyeon to get the camera ready. Sooner or later he is going to strike me, judging from how much I have been annoying him. Nonetheless, your status will make him hold back," Jinhee voiced out.
Jinhee then continued, "Can't you make it seem like to Jinkyung that you don't like me any longer? That could give Minjoon the courage to make attacks against me, and Jinkyung might start plotting against me as well."
Hearing those words, Taeho said, "I'll be doing that then."

Stepping into her room, Jinhee directly fell upon her body. The muscles in her body ached, and Jinhee found herself being exhausted. Dressed in the dress from the party, she closed her eyes and wondered on about why Taehyun wasn't back despite of it being this late.
Staring at the phone beside her, Jinhee contemplated on whether or not to call him. Although Jinhee wanted to call him, it would make her seem desperate.
Being well aware that Taehyun might have important matters of his own, Jinhee did not want to be a disturbance to him. Calling him and disturbing him just because she was missing him wasn't right in Jinhee's opinion.
Nevertheless, staring at phone, Jinhee found herself being really tempted. Being used to Taehyun's presence, she did not like how it felt without him being here.
Everything felt too silent and empty for her comfort.
Taking in a deep breath, Jinhee decided upon placing a call to him. If he was busy, he could just ignore her call.
Sitting up on her bed, Jinhee picked up her phone from the bed and was about to place a call towards Han Taehyun when a thought hit her. What was she supposed to say to him?
Staring at the phone in her hand, Jinhee gulped. If she was calling Han Taehyun just because she was missing him, he would surely tease her, and moreover, Jinhee found herself being too shy to voice that out loud.
"Jinhee-ah, call Taehyun and say that the doors to the mansion will be closed if he arrives much later," Jinhee mumbled before taking a deep breath.
Turning her phone on, she swiped her hand across the screen and searched for Taehyun's number. When she had found it, she placed a call to Taehyun and waited for him to receive the call.
Jinhee could see that the call was going through. However, there was no signs of the other side picking up the call. After a few rings, the call was directed to the voicemail.
She decided to call him again, and this time as well the call was not picked up anything. Anxiety began to grow within Jinhee as she bit her lip and placed another call to Han Taehyun.
By now, Jinhee had no idea on how many calls she had made. However, none of them were received, and worry within her began to intensify as she wondered about what could have possibly happened to Taehyun.
