Chapter 230 - Hit her

The car did not attack her.

Opening her eyes, Jinhee realized that she was in the middle of the road whilst a car halted in front of her. Looking down, she realized that this situation seemed quite familiar to her.

A man took his head out of the car's window, and looking towards Jinhee, he yelled, "You shouldn't be running across the street even if you have experienced something sad and hinder others."

Hearing those words from the man, Jinhee regained her senses, and after bowing at the man apologetically, she ran towards the footpath.

The streets of the Seoul appeared to be quite busy, and raising her hand, she touched the corner od her eyes. It seemed as if Jinhee was crying. However, she had no idea on why she was crying.

Jinhee had a dull ache within her heart. However, she did not understand what was that from. Wiping the tears from the corner of her eyes, Jinhee took in a deep breath.

Wondering about how she ended up here, Jinhee turned her back on road and decided to walk away when she heard her name being called. Curious about who could be calling her, Jinhee turned her back.

Jinhee saw that the cars stopped due to the traffic signal, and two people were running towards her. Recognizing those two people as Taehyun— dressed in feminine clothing— and Jaehyun, she flashed a small smile towards them.

"Hey! What are you two doing here?" Jinhee asked.

She herself had no idea on why she was here. Last thing Jinhee recalled about was being in her bedroom. So, did she end up being at here?

Noticing the nervousness and fear sitting at both of their faces, Jinhee furrowed her eyebrows whilst wondering about what the reason behind that possibly could be.

Letting out heavy breaths, both of them had sweat dripping down their forehead. Something about this situation seemed to be too familiar. However, Jinhee couldn't exactly pinpoint what that was.

Narrowing her eyes at them, Jinhee opened her mouth to ask something. However, before she could do so, Taehyun held her shoulders tightly, surprising her, and Jinhee's eyes widened.

"Jinhee-ah, break up with Jaehyun. He is really a cheater. He forcefully grabbed me and began to kiss me. I did not kiss him but—"

Before Taehyun could continue further, Jaehyun pushed him away, causing for Taehyun to loosen his grip on her shoulder, and Jaehyun's sudden actions caused for her eyes to widen.

Jinhee found herself unable to understand what was going on at this moment, and the confusion she felt was clearly visible upon her face.

"Jinhee, you know how I wouldn't be kissing anyone or cheating on you. There was misunderstanding there, and I can explain the entire thing to you," Jaehyun vocalised.

"Kiss?" Jinhee questioned.

That's when, something within her clicked. The kid Taehyun and Jaehyun were talking about made Jinhee recall about how she was given a second chance after her accident.

Staring at each of their garments and then, Jinhee's, she realized that she was dressed exactly same as the day she had experienced Taehyun and Jaehyun kissing, and had gotten into that accident.

The thought of that made Jinhee's eyes widen, and she took a step back. She had a hard time believing that she did not get a second chance; This couldn't be the truth. Jinhee wasn't ready to believe it.

When everything was beginning to get better, why did she have to experience this? This must be a dream! This couldn't be for real.

But no matter how many times, Jinhee thought about it this felt more of a reality to her than that alternative world. Was it possible that all of that was a dream?

Noticing that Jinhee was all shaken up, Jaehyun extended his hand towards her and placed his palm upon her shoulder. She took a step back.

Her heart did not beat rapidly when Jaehyun was this close to Jinhee. Can someone's feelings be erased that easily simply— just from a dream she had experienced?

That dream— Jinhee did not want to categorize it as simply a dream. It was too memorable for her.

Looking towards Han Taehyun, she recalled about all those times she was teased by him and how she was protected by him. She really did not want to let go of those moments.

Taking in a deep breath, Jinhee enunciated, "Han Taehyun."

Noticing how Han Taehyun's eyes dilated when she pronounced that name, the smile on Jinhee's face had grown wider, and hope began to rise within her. There had to be a relation between both of these worlds.

However, Taehyun's eyes then back to its original size, and putting on a confused expression, he questioned, "What are you talking about?"

Pointing towards Taehyun, Jinhee voiced out, "Han Taehyun— that's who you're, and don't try to hide it from me."

"How?"

Hearing those words from Taehyun, Jinhee's heart began to beat rapidly within her chest, and running towards him, she pulled him into a tight hug.

Furrowing his eyebrows, Jaehyun stared at the scene before him.

Taehyun wrapped his hands around Jinhee whilst he said, "I was scared for a second there, but there seems to be no reason for that anymore. I had a dream, a long dream, and that's how I found out about it, Taehyun."

"Jinhee, are you fine?" Jaehyun asked.

Pulling out from the hug, Jinhee stared towards Jaehyun and nodded her head. What was strange about this entire situation was that instead of her heart beating rapidly towards Jaehyun, it palpitated quickly towards Taehyun.

"Both of you can get into a relationship if you like. I'll support both of you regardless of your gender," Jinhee said whilst wearing a smirk upon her face.

"Took you long to find out about it," Jaehyun voiced out.

Jinhee chuckled and vocalised, "I didn't both of your preference lied that way. Don't worry! I won't come between you two."

Wearing a teasing expression on her face, she walked out from the scene. She did not feel any type of suffocation within her, and her heart felt quite relieved. In Jinhee's opinion, the scene was somewhat funny as well.
