Watching Min Hyunbin step into the room, Lee Jinhee waved her hand towards him whilst a wide smile sat upon her face.
Noticing the annoyed expression on Min Hyunbin's face, she couldn't help but let out a chuckle. Ruffling his hair, Hyunbin walked into the classroom.
Knowing the culprit behind this, Hyunbin glowered towards Jinhee. He did not want to give the exams. However, now, because of her, there was a great chance of him not having that option.
Nevertheless, even though he was displeased with how things turned out, he felt warmth spread through his heart at Jinhee. After all, she was one of those rare people who truly cared about him.
Due to the exams, gaps were kept between the desks, and stomping over to his seat, Min Hyunbin slammed down his bag on to the table.
His presence here attracted the eyes of many, and as they continued to stare upon him, Hyunbin noticed it. Looking towards them, Hyunbin shot each one of them a glare.
He found nothing good about being looked at that way.
Then, his eyes fell upon Jinhee, and with frustration being noticeable in his tone, he said, "Yah! Lee Jinhee, who told you to do that? Didn't I say you that I am perfectly fine with not sitting for the exam, so why in the world did you meddle in?"
Shrugging her shoulders, Jinhee vocalised, "No idea. I just wanted to do into this since it appeared to be fun. Isn't fun forcing Hyunbin— who naively thought that he had escaped from the clutches of exam— give exams?"
Jinhee raised one of her eyebrows whilst an innocent expression sat on his face. This made Hyunbin feel more annoyed while he sat upon his chair with a loud noise.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself, Lee Jinhee," Hyunbin voiced out, "Nothing has been finalized as of yet. Even though the attention this is getting is positive for you doesn't mean that the school will agree."
"Should we bet on it?" Jinhee questioned whilst a certain glint appeared within her eyes.
"Bet what?" Hyunbin asked.
"Bet about whether or not you'll be able to give the exams. If you are able to give the exams, then I win, and as a penalty, you have to listen to one thing of mine. If it is vice versa, then you win, and I'll follow one of your orders," Jinhee vocalised.
Jinhee's words made Hyunbin go into deep I thinking. He did not have a good feeling about this bet. Nevertheless, he did not want to be called a coward for not daring to do it.
Even though he was not much confident about it, Hyunbin replied, "Fine, let's do it! Let's bet! You can not pull out of it in the last minute though like a coward Jinhee."
"Don't worry; I wouldn't be doing such a thing because I am positive I will be winning," Jinhee said.
At that moment, they heard the door to the classroom open, and turning their head towards the direction of the door, both of them were curious on who it is.
Their homeroom teacher had stepped into the classroom, and held within his hand was the exam papers. Staring at their teacher, they were all anticipating on what he would say on Hyunbin's case.
Walking over to the desk, the teacher placed the bundle of exam papers on to the teacher. The entire class stood up and bowed at the teacher while greeting him respectfully.
As Kwon Youngmi and Shin Soyeon were new, they were exempt from the exam this time around, and therefore, both of them were not allowed to be in the exam room.
After the students had settled down into.theur respective seats, their homeroom teacher cleared his throat with a cough in order to gain his student's attention.
"As you know, an announcement was made yesterday in order to suspend Min Hyunbin from the exams. That decision was made due to some misunderstandings, and now, as we don't want to be unfair, he will be allowed to give the exams. For any trouble created, the school apologizes to Min Hyunbin."
Hearing that Min Hyunbin's eyes widened, and he couldn't believe what he had just heard. Although he was not confident in being unable to give exam, he was still astounded.
Min Hyunbin stood up to show his denial and questioned, "Why that all of a sudden? I mean, didn't you decide that I wouldn't be giving the exams? Why are you changing your decision the last moment?"
Seeing how panicked Hyunbin was at this moment, Jinhee let out a low chuckle. At the the teacher's words, relief spread through Jinhee. She was afraid of what the reply will be earlier, and now, with a peaceful mind, she can give them exams.
"Student Hyunbin, there was a misunderstanding before as stated, and if you have any kinds of problem with the decision now, you can talk about it with the authority after the exam for today now.
Whilst the exam is in session, I am afraid I can't let you leave, so please sit down. I'll be distributing the papers now," The teacher voiced out.
Tugging at the sleeve of Hyunbin's shirt, Jinhee whispered, "Sit down, Hyunbin-ah. You lost, and I won. So, you have to listen to one request of mine."
Hyunbin scoffed and said, "Whatever you say, You Cheater!"
Jinhee chuckled.
Han Taehyun extended his hand towards Lee Jinhee and placed his palm on top of Jinhee's shoulder. Turning her head towards Taehyun, she stared at him questioningly.
"You managed to do it," He mumbled, causing the smile on Jinhee's face to turn wider.
"It's because of all of you," Jinhee said, "If it wasn't for you, Taehyun-ah, I might have collapsed a lot earlier."
Seeing that Lee Jinhee was being completely honest made Han Taehyun's eyes wider, and he let out a chuckle. He truly did not expect this from her.
"Aren't I your perfect prince?" He questioned.
