Chapter 360 - Dungeon Week Opening and The Preparation for Intermediate-Mid Dungeon!

"Rise and shine, folks! What a delightful morning we have, wouldn't you agree? Oh wait, Maybe I should say it's the dungeon weather gracing us by itself, no?"

"Top of the morning, Zephyr! And I know right, It's finally time to crash in the dungeon!"

"Well, of course!"

I had just set foot into the guild and greeted the members present when Lana, bubbling with a similar energy level as mine, high-fived me.

Today was Saturday, June 15th, and next week will be the fourth week. In short, it was the opening of the second dungeon week. Including this weekend and next week, students will have 9 days for themselves to dive into the dungeon.

What a delightful chime it carries.

Like water which is ever-essential elixir for the body, dungeon diving was the ultimate thrill of ‹Dungeon Activity›!

Incidentally, dungeons and climate don't have any correlation.Alll latest novels at novelhall.com

"Good morning, Zephyr~"

"Oh, Good morning, Misato!"

I was approached by Misato while I was greeting other members.

"I have an update about the subordinate guild matter, Zephyr-kun. After sorting out everything with Celestine-san's cooperation, we are all set to take in the 6 finalized candidates! Though they also have other matters to sort out like withdrawal procedure etc, so we will have to wait after the dungeon week before the subordinate guild can be up officially."

"Gotcha. But seriously, you are really a gem."

"Tahaha~ It's not that big of a deal. Now we just have to aim for D-rank!"

"And decide on the rest of the four members as soon as possible as well."

Even after all the brainstorming yesterday, we couldn't decide on all the candidates we would be taking in.

We managed to narrow down the list to only 8 candidates, but in the end, all the problems boil down to none of them having a category, which was the acceptance criteria for the ‹Eden› until now.

They have high-ranking low tier general category jobs. This is where I found myself stuck in.

Well, being a category holder wasn't absolute, and general category high-ranking jobs weren't devoid of strong jobs either. Furthermore, Misato and Sierra even advised that it might be a good idea to include candidates from the list to not come out as stuck-up.

"Good morning again! First It's the dungeon week time, so have a lot of fun exploring them! Now to the main topic, more like, there are several things to discuss about."

Moving onward, I first explained about the interview we held at the suggestion of Misato concerning our future members, and its result. Well, it's another matter that we have yet to finalize everything.

I had already notified them about the progress in chat, but in my opinion, informing in chat and informing directly hold different meanings.

"Hurray, so we are finally going to have a Subordinate guild! I can finally have peace of mind, I can't believe ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› dared to set it up when ‹Eden› didn't have it already!"

Lana grumbled unhappily.

Huh, ah, well, they were an exception.

From what I heard, it all started with ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› absorbing a puny E-rank guild ‹Damned›, and another puny E-rank guild ‹The Grave Sin of Boys›.

A subordinate guild couldn't be setup without QP, and this term which was unnegotiable, so question arose from where they got the QP? The most probable reason is ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› managed to acquire them from ‹Damned!› and ‹The Grave Sin of Boys› assets when they merged. I mean, it goes without saying, but when guilds are absorbed, the assets, too, become the property of the main guild. So the QP source could be linked to them.

Speaking of them, the name of their subordinate guild retained the words from their original counterpart, ending up with ‹The Grave Sin of Damned›.

Ironically, there couldn't be any more perfect name for them if you ask them. Especially when it was ‹Damned› instead of ‹Jealousy›.

Oops, let's not digress anymore.

For now, no one seems to have any complaints about setting a subordinate guild.

"This is all about the official list of members. Next, we need to discuss our goal for this dungeon week."

"Zephyr! I think it's about time we challenge the intermediate dungeon!"

As soon as I stopped speaking, Lana raised her and asserted so. As for other members...... none seems to be against her idea either. All seemed intent to challenge it.

"Gotcha. Though I was about to say the same thing. Celestine, what's the current status of the members in terms of dungeon clearance?"

"So far, only Zephyr-sama, you, Her Highness Lana and Ester-sama who have cleared both conditions, reaching Lv50 and clearing at least 3 Intermediate-low dungeons, to challenge Intermediate-mid dungeons. Others have stopped at clearing two intermediate-low dungeons."

I ran my gaze over the material Celestine showed me. So, we have 8 members who are just sort of one more Int-low dungeon mark before they are good enough to challenge the Int-mid dungeon.

'Hmm, Celestine is the only one who falls short on more than one dungeon eh'. I contemplated, concerned about his progress, since the remaining ones, Rina, Misato and Mert still had a long way before they could give it a try.

Celestine had been in guild for far longer than the aforementioned three, but administrative tasks seemed to eat up all his time, including the one where he should be challenging dungeons. I had kind of expected this. But as someone whose motto was 'Dungeon is first and foremost', I couldn't let this sad situation continue for any longer.

"Alright, we are going to divide into two parties; one will be a leveling-focused party and another, a dungeon clearing party. ‹Eden› will challenge the Intermediate-mid dungeon as a team!"
