In a grand, open hall filled with an overwhelming sense of stillness and reverence, the air seemed to hum with an almost palpable energy.
The high, vaulted ceilings stretched up endlessly, with towering white pillars reaching skyward as if holding the heavens in place.
Soft beams of light streamed down from unseen windows high above, casting a soft, ethereal glow over everything.
At the heart of the hall stood an enormous statue of the Goddess of Life, crafted from the purest white stone, her beauty almost too perfect to seem real.
She stood tall and proud, her expression serene, with a compassionate smile that seemed to watch over everyone who entered this sacred place.
One hand held a radiant staff, topped with an orb that glowed faintly with a soft golden light, while her other hand was outstretched, palm open, offering her blessing to the world below.
Golden light radiated from the statue, flooding the hall with warmth. The holy aura bathed everything in a soft glow, making the white marble tiles on the floor shimmer as if they, too, were part of the divine energy.
Before the statue, a woman knelt in deep, silent worship.
Her long, silver hair fell in soft waves down her back, catching the golden light and glowing faintly.
She was strikingly beautiful, her features sharp yet soft, with an elegance that seemed to come as naturally to her as breathing.
Her silver eyes were closed, her expression peaceful as her lips moved in quiet prayer.
She wore flowing robes of silver and gold, their fabric shimmering like light as they draped over her kneeling form.
"Oh, great Goddess of Life, mother of all creation,"
"I offer you my heart, my soul, and my eternal devotion. In your light, we are born, and through your grace, we live. You are the source of all that is pure, all that is good. Guide me in your wisdom, fill me with your strength, so that I may walk the path of life as you have intended."
Eventually, the woman lifted her head, her silver eyes opening slowly.
With one final, quiet breath, she stood, her silver robes swaying gently as she rose to her full height.
As she sensed a presence behind her head, she turned her head and looked at the old man wearing white robes walking toward her.
Seeing him, Hong Shi bowed slightly. clasping her hands "Grand Worship...."
the old man nodded his head in satisfaction and gestured his hand towards the large door "You can leave..."
*tap* *tap* Hong Shi quickly left the place and the enormous door creaked close.
The old man raised his gaze looking at the statue of the Goddess of Life "Just a little more... and we can achieve greateness."
...
Walking through the halls, a sigh escaped Hong Shi's lips as she remembered a handsome man "Master Yuan..."
She remember seeing someone like him back in Pearl City when she went there to get the Phoenix Inheritance.
"Fate will surely allow us to meet again..."
How long do I have to wait before I can meet Master Yuan.
Feng Xinyi who was standing outside waiting for her smiled gently "Shi'er..."
Walking close to her, Hong Shi gave a nod "Xinyi..."
Eh? Feng Xinyi smiled wryly as she has already gotten used to this "I am your Master... so treat me with respect.. at least greet me properly."
With a shake of her head, Hong Shi replied "I already told you.. I will never look at you as my Master."
Feng Xinyi rolled her eyes "By the way, do you remember the Northern Pearly city we went last time.. for Phoenix Inheritance."
Hong Shi gave a nod "I do remember..."
"Apparently a large wave of beast tide stuck the city..."
