Chapter 272 Revenge

The news about the seventh prince being one of the most likely candidates to become the next King of the Thunderclaw kingdom was surprising.

Usually, the Crown prince was the oldest child of the king. In most cases, only the men were considered to be worthy of the position of the King because their combat power was said to be higher. Of course, this was utter nonsense as women could be just as powerful as men.

But all of this didn't actually matter anymore because the civil war in the Thunderclaw Kingdom was a big mess, and the Nasga were not shy with their attacks.

The borders were under constant attack and it grew more and more difficult to defend against the attacks of the ratlike race. They were powerful and possessed many contagious diseases that could destroy entire cities in a period of several weeks, and they were fearless.

Death was not something they were afraid of, which was why they could sacrifice dozens of their people as long as it was necessary to fulfill their goals.

The Nasga race's behavior during the brawl was a bit different but at that time the odds were different and their Elite of the Elite had been present.

Kyle was actually not that much interested in the seventh prince. He could do whatever he wanted, but the chubby merchant was one type of person, whom Kyle and Selene hated to the core.

The others had also heard more than enough about the chubby merchant to hate him. However, instead of killing them when they had had the opportunity, they spared him. After the brawl that had been the only solution

"Looks like our paths will cross again," Kyle said calmly, while his eyes turned even colder.

Darkness oozed out of Selene without her realizing and her entire being turned out to be gloomy and dangerous. If she had been a timid and scared Lohar before encountering Kyle, her current state was that of a true Assassin.

She was not afraid to kill anymore and if Kyle demanded her to kill someone, she wouldn't even ask why. That was how loyal she was to him.

Selene wanted to tear apart the chubby merchant, but nobody knew when they would meet again.

"I want to get him into my grasp!" She could only say quietly. Jaden shuddered when he noticed how dangerous Selene looked. But he took a deep breath and caressed Arashi, who was calmly lying on his shoulder.

Arashi was trying to connect his own Wing Element type Wings of Ilusia at the back of Jaden to make it easier for him to fly. Unfortunately, this was quite difficult, and it took quite a while.

However, they had more than enough nice because there was actually nothing to rush.

The death of the duke's son should have been reported by now, at the earliest. Nobody knew that it had been them, who killed him, and it was unlikely that anyone would get to know about the fact that Kyle had killed him.

In the end, even if they were to find out about it, Kyle didn't really bother. They were in another kingdom already. Finding them would be hard enough for the Queen, and it was actually not worth the effort. The Razgra kingdom and the Thunderclaw kingdom would claim the Sadorla forest before entering the Lahin kingdom to get their hands on the lands, the treasures, and the Lohars.

Kyle didn't want to imagine how troublesome all of this was, but it was kind of advantageous for him because the Queen wouldn't bother about them.

'At least, the chubby merchant is not entirely useless.' Kyle tried to calm himself, however, his eyes were fiery and his battle intent was leaking.

He wanted to kill the chubby merchant, by all means.

Kyle suffered so much due to the chubby merchant's doings, it was time to take revenge.

"If you guys want to kill the chubby merchant, we should enter the Glacia Kingdom soon." Jaden suddenly said, attracting everyone's attention.

"What do you mean?" Beatrice asked, her common sense lacking behind.

"Well…they need resources, and we've just sold a large-scale Mana stone deposit with high-quality Mana stones. Their grade was at the Secur grade as well, so wherever all the mana stones will be sold, the chubby merchant or people related to him should appear." Jaden said before tilting his head as he thought about something.

"Well, there will probably be a bunch of representatives of the other princes, princesses, noble families, and merchants of the Thunderclaw kingdom. They need resources, a lot of them and as quickly as possible, otherwise, their rivals might gain an advantage over them.

They had still many mana stones of high quality and grade left but all of them belonged to her, Beatrice, and Selene. They needed them to accelerate their cultivation after all.

Beatrice and Selene had multiple cultivation veins. Thus they would usually take longer to cultivate to the same stage as those with only one cultivation vein. However, Beatrice's talent was terrifying enough to rival Yasmine's cultivation speed. And she only had the Maest cultivation vein.

Meanwhile, Selene was the slowest, but Kyle's nourishment, her hard work, and the excessive amount of resources allowed her to cultivate rapidly.

Selene worked the hardest in the entire group, which one could clearly see because she was still able to stand on par with the others. Only Kyle and Arashi lacked behind in terms of their cultivation stage if one were to ignore Jaden, whose cultivation talent was truly horrifying.

That was how bad Jaden's talent was.

Kyle was not sure how much energy he would require to develop Jaden's cultivation vein to the extent Yasmine's cultivation veins were developed, but it was definitely a massive amount of energy.

The thought about it was more than enough to frighten them. However, this was still not important enough to be considered more interesting, and possibly dangerous than what they were currently planning.

"So… are we going to hunt the chubby merchant? Follow the transport of the Mana stone deposit in the hope that we can find, and eventually kill him?" Beatrice asked, her crimson eyes glowing up. She was ready to tear apart the person, who had caused Kyle to feel lots of pain.

Beatrice imagined torturing him, pulling out his nails, breaking every single bone in his body, cutting open his body, and far more. The imagination in her mind took over, and the glow in her eyes turned purplish, while she began to breathe heavier.

When Kyle noticed that, he felt that Beatrice looked extremely seductive past him. There was nothing behind Kyle, and he could only gauge what she was thinking.

'Is she a sadist?' He wondered while throwing a gust of air straight toward her. Her hair fluttered in the wind and her eyes got dry, forcing her to regain her senses.

"What? Who? Where?" She shouted out in confusion while looking around.

Kyle smiled faintly before he teased her a bit,

"Don't think about naughty stuff, little girl."

Beatrice turned beet-red at this comment. She wanted to complain, saying that she was the oldest and that he should have some respect for her, that he couldn't tease her just like that.

However, getting teased by Kyle didn't actually happen often, so Beatrice felt that it was a small victory to get teased by him.

She smiled sheepishly, but that only confused Kyle more, while both Yasmine and Selene looked at the pervet with a deep frown.
