“Who are they?” Finn Lewis asked, looking at the two with curiosity.

“Oh, come, come, dear, Gabriella, come here.” Fay Wells immediately called out, and the middle-aged woman and the girl glanced at each other and nervously approached.

“I should introduce you. This is the housekeeper we hired, Lilian Wood, and her daughter Gabriella Jones. You asked someone to hire us some workers, didn’t you? After further consideration, I figured hiring them was just as well. They are poor and depend on each other, so I asked them to live with us. They are both diligent.” Fay Wells explained.

Lilian Wood and Gabriella Jones clearly had recognized the young man standing before them. They work for this family, so naturally, they know who really holds sway.
