"Great. We can't buy anything for now," Erix wryly smiled.
"One thing we know is that we get points if we kill people, but not just any I think," Rin said with narrowed eyes. "We need some enemies to check."
"We'll get plenty of villains in the city if want," Lily said with a chuckle.
Aria tilted her head. "So, we will find bad guys and provoke them?"
"Haha, you understood the assignment," Erix ruffled her head after pulling her to him while they continued flying.
"I am smart," Aria pouted before she smiled.
Aria was not naive since long ago but was only bound due to her father.
She understood all types of intentions and could comprehend situations. As she had broken free, her immensely powerful spirit and soul would only develop her better and refinedly.
...
The group arrived at Lopalize city after an hour while recovering their energies by traveling at a moderate pace and killing some monsters on the way to leisurely do some modification to their skills.
Lilith also joined them shortly, and everyone followed her to visit Granny May's avatar in this city.
In an unpopulated area of the city, the group entered a dark alley before encountering a board and entering an old bookstore.
Seeing Granny May again, Rin and Erix still felt the same as before.
Granny May nodded at them with a faintly hanging gentle smile.
"Unexpected yet expected developments. But not enough," Granny May lightly chuckled. "Raise more waves after you return. I'll be watching."
"As for your query," Granny May lightly tapped her can on the ground before twelve blurry and mysterious symbols appeared.
"Patron Realm. Usually, people get access to this realm late, but sometimes, the Patron Houses send some mediums and leave it to fickleness to find some suitable candidates for their games."
Gaorth felt a tremor hearing the voice. He very much still remembered this voice that challenged him, and he laughed at it.
But then, he ran away from the challenge in fear.
Turning around, Gaorath looked at Erix's smiling face and soon saw Lilith and others arriving behind him.
"I guess, you ran with your majestic tail between your legs," Rin said before bursting into laughter. "Hey, big cat. Your mane is not looking good right now."
"Finish your business first, Gaorath. I'm going."
The tiger beastfolk man scurried away while the girl separated from Gaorath and said, "I-I have nothing to do with him."
Gaorath gulped, his furry face becoming sweaty.
"Come on, let's start our promised challenge," Erix laughed. "Use your domain on me. I don't have mine yet."
"N-No," Gaorath stammered and took a step back as he forced a smile. "It's okay. It's my loss."
"If you kneel down and beg for me to spare you, I'll let you off the hook," Erix smiled as he put his hand on Gaorath's shoulder again.
"Hurry up, or I'll accidentally attack," Rin snorted as a wave of sharp waves akin to invisible blades assaulted Gaorath.
Gaorath's stomach rumbled, and a low growl released from his mouth. With an ugly and defeated expression, his knees weakened before they bent and slammed on the ground.
"I should have known better. Please forgive me for my rudeness. I was blind."
"Good. Now get up and use your domain on me," Erix's sharp voice rang. "If you manage to reduce my vitality by a single percentage, I'll spare you."
The surrounding people passing by the plaza noticed, but nobody cared about the scuffles--only occasional glances and a strong feeling of not getting their nose into someone else's business as they continued moving.
Gaorath was forced to use his domain on Erix as both of them disappeared.
Right after that, a group of five beastfolks arrived, all lions-men.
One of them was an Empyrean-order, and the rest were Royal-order hunters.
"Where's Gaorath?"
"Who are you?"
The five men faced Lilith and others before their leader saw the domain point and narrowed his eyes. "He is challenging someone."
Afterward, his eyes scanned Lilith and others. 'They outnumber us.'
"So many people and buildings," Aria muttered as her focus was mostly on this exotic city made from various colorful crystals, wood, and high-rise unique buildings.
Lilith released her aura and unleashed her soul pressure, causing the Empyrean-order hunter's face to change as it became somber and apprehensive.
"If you want to keep your life, you better forget about this sissy cat. His lifespan is going to end soon."
